I'm curious, when did white fedoras become so popular for formal wear?
The magic of social media.. thousand miles apart and not knowing how can I visit the place, but today I just saw a lovely marriage culture with lots of love pouring to the bride and groom. I wish them all happiness... to the bride, family and all Mongolians..
Imagine starting out your life surrounded by so much love, respect, and a brand-new home - mortgage free!!!
Hehe,tru
@bb77077 they are very selfsufficient.. unlike your home
bb77077 It’s their culture that they’re happy with. Why shit on their home if they’re happy with it?
The ancient Hebrews built a home on the fathers's land for the bride and groom as well. Makes sense!
With our western mindset we will not be able to survive in those conditions for even a week either physically or psychologically. Everyone saying how amazing, well, talking about their society they're known to be very patriarchal and tribal. Men are still very authoritative towards women, kids have to bend to their parents in a submissive way, and their life is only based on work. We're too used to our freedom at the point to despise it, that's the problem.
I lived there on a mine site on the Gobi desert. Mongols were the sweetest, warm, down to earth people I have ever met. It was a great privilege to visit with them. I miss them greatly!
Awsome you said a mine site ' im from the 🇺🇸 and worked in the coal mines for 14 years ' a hard living but deff makes a man out of you '
not mongols! proper word is Mongolians
thank you :)
I live in Mongolia And i Like to Help people Much as i could
I don't know man, we got a lot of Mongolians where I play basketball and it seems 50/50 some are cool peoples and some like to start fights over beeswax
Tim S That is reality every country has their fair share of douchebags. We are no different but yes we do try to look the best we can. I love my country it has the thing in this world no other country has. Which is my memories of childhood 😂
This kind of marriage is getting extremely rare these days and you would see it in only countryside. Even I've been living in Mongolia for my entire existence, I have never attended such kinda wedding ceremony in my whole life. It feels like whole new experience for me. I am discovering my own culture via youtube even if I live in the very place this event took a place. ROFL
I have been guiding and organizing soft-adventure and cultural tours for 15 years. There are 2 things makes people love Mongolia. 1 is the open space and nature, the second is the hospitable nomadic community. I love my country. I have been traveling over 30 countries in 4 continents I but decided to stay in my home country.
can you tell why the western hat? is that something new in the 21st century?
@@rayjack that is new and people like fashion, you know
I am enamored with the Mongolian people and their ways of life. I feel a kinship that I’ve never experienced before. And yet, I am about as removed from them as one can possibly be. Perhaps in another life…? Much love, happiness and prosperity to the lovely couple. May their flocks be healthy and multiply. ✌🏻🥰😊
I am native american (navajo) and many of my people believe that we came from Mongolia and I can see the similarities such as their homes almost look like hogans, one of their main dishes is sheep, etc. I really hope one day to visit those part of the region's to not only see the beauty if their countries but to maybe reunite with where my ancestors used to live.
You welcome! I'm a mongolian and also noticed so many similarities between us, especially with navajo people. The tradition, facial features. We definitely share the genes. Greetings to all Navajo nation from Mongolia!
Im a Bosniak. Whereas you guys share a common siberian ancestor with Mongols and traveled east to the Americas, my Ancestors travelled from the Altai mountains in Mongolia to the west and ended up in eastern Europe. We are very different but we have a common mongolian/siberian ancestor if you really think about it
Your absolutely right. Mongolian are brave people.

God bless these good people. They organized a beautiful wedding for this fortunate young couple. Best wishes, long life.....
Imagine being a warrior back in the day and being wed like this, especially with your khan's blessing.
The feast and party must have been glorious.
I'm a Hazara from Afghanistan but feel Mongolian are my next half. I wish all the best for my brothers and sisters in Mongolia.
I hope you guys are safe there since taliban take over wish i could help ❤love from mongolia
I'm indigenous and my children are desendant of Admin Khan from Afghanistan he came to Australia as a camel driver, he told his grandson my husband that he wanted to take him back to Afghanistan and show him Mongolia cos they are desendant of Genghis Khan he didn't make it home his buried place would be in Wyndham north west Australia. My children are aboriginal Afghan and Mongolian mix and am a proud mother of four generations still living in Warmun East Kimberley northern Australia.
Loved it! The best part was the guy playing the string instrument and singing. The one they got as a gift was beautiful.
A handsome young couple, may they live long in health and prosparity and may their children be healthy.
@lavender fields That's how you compliment newlywed couples in most cultures, specially Asian.
@lavender fields Nope,I have been around people from other cultures plus I'm Asian. Also,I can read, have working eyes and ears and can use my brain to learn about history and other countries.
That's just what you say to newlywed and it is what was said in Europe too. It's still said in many European countries.
@lavender fields What are ya twelve ? Because that's how old you mentally appear by asking those questions.
@lavender fields Yeah,I am and you'r definitely twelve and there's no point arguing with a little kid.
@@cheezarose yeah I agree with you 😂 ,there's no point in arguing like that

Thank you for allowing me into your side of the world and your lovely home and family. Love from Orlando Florida USA.
Why did so many people comment about groom and bribe's facial expression. Wedding ceremony is different from your culture and that is all. Mongols assume the wedding is neutral thing. Dont be too happy, you may end up sobbing, dont be too sad, you may have a blessed partner in your life. That is why couple display neutral expression. As someone comments here like forced marriage, is he/she okay?
Maybe each of them are planning things in their head?
Mongolians are not the post expressive people
Thanks for providing the explanation behind the groom and the bride keeping a neutral face all throughout the ceremony. There is wisdom to it and will apply it my life. Cheers!
I've read same thing in many south asian wedding video. Western always keep asking if marriage is forced. They always think that all culture is like them or everyone should follow their way of things. In many Asina culture, laughing in your own wedding is not appreciated. We like to keep our face natural, neither sad nor too much happy. Even in some culture, if bride do not cry during wedding, people think she is happy to leave her parents house and childhood surrounding. Which make her family and friends sad, as they think it is a sign of she was not happy with her family.
Tbh, they are feeling a bit awkward because their parents planned the wedding and not them. All up in their head is to wait for these drunken guests to go home and leave them at comfort.
Beautiful Marriage Ceremony , Love to watch and I love 2 things in Ceremony Rich Culture and Respect of Elders

This is absolutely beautiful! I love how they come together for the couple and gave them more then just flowers or a ring. I wish the new couple many blessings and a long and loving life.

Your dream will come true, one day in distant future but under one leadership. As long as governments exist there will never be unity among men because governments need crisis and wars to justify their existence. So we call them "necessary evil". Culturally almost every nation has the same aspiration to live in peace and raise their family.

It's interesting to see a traditional wedding least influenced by modernization. Very simple wedding only involve the family members and close friends. No showing off just sharing happiness and blessings. Everyone was very involved and helpful really like a family affair.
I also love how quickly the family and friends decorated the ger given to the newly wed. They knew exactly what to put and where to put all those stuffs and it quickly transformed into a very warm home for the newly wed.

I love how a mother can freely breastfeed their children in front of a large group of people without even needing to hide or cover herself, we call this nomadic tribes as “primative, uneducated,” while women can’t even do this simple and crucial actions in our western cultures which is considered as “developed civilizations”
It’s not so cut and dry. Breasts in western society are mostly seen as sexual as media and our society has hyper sexualised every part of a woman’s body and therefore it creates controversy whereas in other societies men don’t view them that way so it’s not seen the same and accepted as for what it is just breastfeeding.
2476ana blame feminism darlin men naturaly dnt care about it..its women who subject women
@@idylledoll I see so its media that has sexualised breasts in the west and not women...its not women who go around showing off their cleavage...and using it to arouse and attract men. Its not women who pay tens of thousands of dollars to have breast enlargement surgery...its the media that is to blame...show some accountability and responsibility for your actions and choices.

I am guessing that most of these rituals go back thousands of years. Some are obvious Buddhist with the scarves but most are Shamanistic. (Tengriism). Amazing. I notice among Mongolians that they are much more affectionate than other East Asians.

Mongolians are still very much reserved. However, Mongolians are down to earth and one of the few countries in Asia that keep the ancient traditions and customs of old. If that's your definition of affectionate. Then I guess they are. But things are always different between country folks and city slickers. And Mongolia is no exception.

Same as India, in Pakistan.
The ideology is to never take anything for granted and therefore not to show extreme joy because the belief someone can put a curse on you through jealousy. It is quite often to call new born kids ugly duckling so that they grow up to be beautiful and also to give someone name such as No Name (literal translation) to protect the baby from bad omens if previously the parents had miscarriages. The list can go on and lot of these superstition and ideology comes from Shamanism and Buddhism.
Stop comparing will you.
