Maybe like a weekly or monthly update on news in the legal world or maybe a long Ugo type video where you look at a bunch of legal situations and break it down. Maybe a LegalEagle, Ugolord, LawByMike collab? Idk just suggestions

    • @john2g1
      @john2g1 11 месяцев назад +1

      Well apparently that's a self defeating requirement...
      Actual professional writers have a self contained apprentice style hierarchy that educates writers on HOW to write in their media ecosystem (TV vs movies etcetera).
      Apparently to cut costs however, studios and producers would bypass the highest paid tier of writter and only hire noobs OR hire the top tier only and provide zero support staff (no noob, jr, or senior writers).
      So as the old generation retires/quits we either get writers who only have textbook knowledge or we get those people who sit at laptops in Starbucks all day.
      I don't know if this is true but even lawyers have associates, junior partners, senior partners, and named partners. All 4 are lawyers who passed the bar, but the knowledge and experience is miles apart.

    Law by Mike, I'd really like to know something. If police suspect you of a crime but you refuse to identify, and never give them your name, and have no ID on you what do they do with you? Are you held in jail until you tell them your name? Very curious to know.

    • @john2g1
      @john2g1 11 месяцев назад

      I'm not a lawyer so take that into consideration. First and foremost it depends on whether or not the cops respect/know the US Constitution and subsequent court rulings.
      With a reasonable suspicion the cops can detain you until their investigation has either cleared you or given the cops "probable cause" to believe you are guilty. So... Pause
      In some states it's mandatory you identify yourself so if you're in such a state refusing to identify is the probable cause. If you're not in a mandatory ID state cops are limited to detain you for "a reasonable amount of time" otherwise according to the courts the detention becomes a "de facto arrest".
      Which circles back to the pause... In order to legally arrest a person and not violate the Fourth amendment the cops need a "probable cause". If there isn't one then technically the cops have to just let you go (or they are violating the US Constitution).
      Once arrested you have to identify yourself otherwise that in and of itself is obstruction of justice which now is the question I think you really wanted to ask:
      If you're legally arrested, the cops have no way to identify (including fingerprints and DNA), and you refuse to identify what happens between jail, the court case and possibly prison?
      Technically you could be guilty of obstruction on top of the alleged crime and possibly held in contempt of court. And since you won't identify for those crimes either can you get a life sentence for perpetual counts of contempt and obstruction?
      Whew sorry about that... Side note, if you're the driver of a car and you're stopped by the cops it doesn't matter what state you're in you have to identify.

      it has to do with how visual novel games are played the exact same way every time, so because theres no difference other then maybe how the player narrates if its a voiceless game, it would be as if your actually playing the game yourself, without owning it, which is piracy, it doesnt effect other genres because unlike visual novels, most other type of games can be played differently like how with say tears of the kingdom you have the freedom to do everything linearly or you can within the first hour go get the master sword and beat the game, but with visual novels you might as well just be reading a manga

    They have released two versions of past movies where the scenes were different. Can't they shoot a scene multiple times? Maybe they improvise if they feel like it, but shoot the scene again with the proper lines? So that the original version has it's time in movie theatre's giving the writers strike more time to finish and maybe when it does, it will be in time for a digital release and that includes the improvised version.
    Or maybe improvising during the film is entirely forbidden. Yes, attempting a loophole could upset the writers.

    But why can't the actor improvise? Is the actor member of an association for writers?
    Can't the publishers of the game just seize the money and demand deleting the videos.
    As far as I know copyright owner can claim the money from the monetization over youtube, right?
    I do understand that publishers want to restrict let's plays for some type of games like graphic novels or games that are like movies. Those games can still provide good art and story, but lack the diversity/complexity of gameplay.
    Don't know about Japan, but in my country the copyright owner would have to decide to press charges. Normally the owner of a property decides who may use it or not and not the police.

    • @YassineCoding

      youtube isnt a court room ,they don't decide the legal action , they just start the case and the rest on the police and law to decide

    How is urinating during a phone call a suable offense? I've been on the phone while peeing, taking a dump, or bathing. I'm also not the only one because I know I've had conversations on the phone with people who did the same. If I'm in the middle of a conversation and I need to go to the toilet, I don't see the point of interrupting the call when I can easily do both at the same time. As for bathing, I tend to keep the phone within arm reach when I don't want to miss a call. If someone calls, I dry my hand with a towel and answer the phone. Unless the context warrants it, I don't disclose the fact that I'm in the bathtub. If for example I'm asked to do something in the house by the caller, I say "I can't right now because I'm in the bathtub." I agree with the rest of the lawsuit if the allegations are true, but the part about peeing while on the phone is ridiculous.
    That being said, if the allegations are true, I sincerely hope De Niro is held accountable and his reputation tarnished. I'm so fucking tired of all those rich people systematically abusing everyone. The fact that so many people keep worshipping and enabling them is disgusting.

    • @john2g1

      Well as any lawyer would say... It depends.
      Imagine your opposite gender boss keeping you on the phone as you listen to a stream of urine and your boss groans and says "Aww... Aww yeah... Whoooo yeah that's orgasmic" in your ear. Imagine that with a Bluetooth earpiece directly in your ear canal.
      If your skin didn't crawl, your eye didn't twitch, or your ear didn't itch I don't know what to tell you.
      Of course this is all alleged and we have zero details, but after hearing about what a certain ex-producer would do to potted plants... Yeah I can see how phone pee is a lawsuit worthy offense.
