Just took my 7 day cruise on the Dream and I love it. Grant it, it was my first cruise. I have high expectations from here on out. I absolutely LOVED the carnival Dream. Honestly don’t want to try another cruise ship because I’m so happy for the dream

We didn’t notice the water taste on the Dream in 2016, but we also had bottles of water in our stateroom. I also remember the basketballs bouncing in the steakhouse for the cooking demo!😄

You are so Right! The ship water was horrible. We were so glad that we purchased bottled water.
Love your vlogs, watching them to cruise virtually during the quarantine. If you think having the basketball court over the restaurant is bad, on the Disney Magic it's above the spa!!! I couldn't believe it that I was spending all this money on a massage with the pounding over my head! Agreed, it gets your attention! love you guys

I hate to tell you this, but all the water is held together and circulated through the tanks and filtration, SO the water in the water works is not just absolute fresh water, rather is just recycled all together, so the water comming from the pool could be used to fill out the water works,
On some of our Carnival cruises the Italian restaurant was under the Basketball court. We have not been on the Dream but liked the Magic. We are on the Valor the next time we sail out of New Orleans.
We sailed the Valor years ago and has always been one of our favorites!!!
Ive never been on carnival i just fell in love with Norwegian cruise lines
I am going on the Dream in February. If you want a ship I would be happy to get one for you and ship it if you and you can just reimburse me. I live in Canada but I could send it from New Orleans right after my trip as I am staying a few extra days.

We loved the Dream. I agree the service and food was great. We made friends with several servers on there, such a great group of people. I also agree about the water. It tasted muddy. Water out of Mobile and NY are also off tasting, definitely different than cruising out of ocean water. We knew that was what it was, it clears up after you get out to sea.

I was in New Orleans Dec 12 -15, but not on a cruise.
I was on the same cruise about 1 month ago I LOVED IT the soft serve ice cream and the guys burgers Ferrero!!! Had a fantastic time this cruise was my first cruise It’s HIGHLEY recamended it was actually FANTASTIC customer service ! My first and my best so far!! I’ll let u guys know about other cruises I may go on in my life oh and the water park and the mini golf was a lot of fun!!! Again I had a great time highly recommended it was a lot of fun I loved it with my whole heart and soul and it was the greatest time ever I have ever had on my first cruise! Highly recommended again sorry have a fantastic day bless you and stay shiny rainbows PS everything was great I’m here I got to do the cat in the hat breakfast which is also him very highly recommended I just loved it there best vacation ever around dinner everybody would get pictures taken by photographers loved it so much my family had a great time we had great weather the breakfast burritos were very good all the food was delicious it may seem crazy but the snails were yummy highly highly highly recommend it fantastic best vacation ever five stars best vacation for kids and adults😅😃Sorry for so much writing

I have a small detailing company (That only consists of me) that details cars and houses. I recently got off the vista last month and I have been wanting to do another cruise ever since then. I am going to try to aim for the Breeze but if my business booms I probably will try the dream. Wish me luck!
Pools stayed full, never saw people get out and use bathroom so we didn’t get in, we cruised 12/2-12/9

i agree about the water out of New Orleans on the dream. going on the Dream out of Galveston next month. Ill let you know if the water tastes any better. Happy cruising !!

@@dmproske Just got off the Dream 3 days ago (Galveston). I wouldn't have known there was an issue with the water taste if I hadn't heard/read about it here! I'm still glad I bought the 12-pack of bottled water for making coffee in the mornings, but it was the normal desalinated ship water taste to me.
We sailed on the Dream in June here ours: the ugly-the staff in the shops-rude- there was a problem with our sign and sail card. We had put some gift cards on it and link it to a credit card but some how the credit card disappeared. The lady if the gift shop treated my wife as she was trying to steal something when the card was declined. We sent to customer service and fixed it but my wife decided not to buy anything. The bad-the weather (I know if is out of everyone control bad it rain everyday- we had only one great sunset, the good- our 11 floor balcony cabin. It was right above the Lido, I was afraid it would be noisy but it was not. I was great being right near the action.
Where do you live we'll be on the Dream in January, i can see if they have the ships in and if they have some i can grab one for ya,

Scotch was great..just had to finish it before the cubes melted!!

Yes, and so far, Breeze has been our favorite all-around cruise. Dream was great, but Breeze was better for us. Thanks for watching!!!

I just returned from a cruise on the dream. We had the same issue with the staff at guess services. We have been charged the gratuity 3 times and they still have not received a refund for this. Not helpful at all! The restaurant staff and the steak house staff was great. No complaints with that. You just expect good service from guest services and the fun shop staff. Thanks for the video

We went on the Dream in July for our honeymoon and the service was awesome! We loved our waiters at dinner so much, we were kind of sad leaving them lol. I have the Dream ship model and being a mama myself I understand what it means to my son when he’s collecting something and he can’t get his hands on something he needs. If your son still hasn’t gotten his ship I would love to send him mine, completely free of charge. Please let me know!

The ugly only affects an incredibly rare percent of travelers. Thats awesome......even the bad doesnt affect people who dont do steakhouse or kids waterworks....thanks for the info. Those wont apply to me. Wonderful video!!!! I buy bottled water. I also bring tea bags and small water pitcher to make tea in my room to carry. Carnival tea is nasty
Guess I never understand why people go on a cruise and pay extra for a specialty restaurant where you get basically the same food as the MDR.

Awe come on guys they already close basketball for serving hours during dinner now you want them to stop for an hour here and there for you to hear? If you guys kids were big basketball players and constantly had the the court closed several times when u went to use it then you would complain about that. It comes from both sides and how wide would the ship have to be to not have anything on top of it.

Very annoying when both of you are talking over each over! I will am looking forward to my cruise in March. Your complaint about the ship model is personal and you spent too much time talking about it! Hard to watch with both of you talking!
