We have two cruises back to back end of April. One on carnival Jubilee out of Galveston then flying to New York and hoping on our first Norwegian on the Joy. So many more videos to come. Nassau was rebuilding when we were there in February '23
(on CARNIVAL LIBERTY)
The locals were pushy and a little bit aggressive. But, my matter of fact, "NO THANK YOU" kept them at bay
It wasn’t as bad as Haiti at all. We absolutely loved the new port and how clean it was. We weren’t hounded too bad outside of port. They would ask but we just kept walking and at least they didn’t follow us.
@tjfun71 O... when we were on board CARNIVAL LIBERTY, the ship smelled like straight raw sewage 🤢😵💫 I hope you all have a better experience. **and my cabin was like a sauna. Maintenance came in on day 1 & 2 to ""fix"" it. But, to no avail. I'm happy I had my battery-operated little fan. Bc I was really miserable. I actually slept one entire night on my balcony wrapped in my pjs and blanket with my hat on. It was chilly but better than the cabin.
**** Hahahahahaha.. that's the cruise that I talked about where the DISNEY CRUISE SHIP scared the jeebeeze out of me & woke me up out of that deep ssa sleep with:
"When You Wish Upon A Star"
began blowing through the horn as they sailed away from the Nassau port🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

See, this is exactly why I travel EVERYWHERE with a roll of tissue, wipes and DEFINITELY hand sanitizer. Yep yep.. I surely do. I Keep them in a backpack that stays in the suv until a bathroom stop is needed. Especially while traveling with my GRANDz 👍🏼
Yeah, I’m truly glad I wasn’t the one stuck in stall with no tp. The lady that asked me to go get some I felt bad cause I have no idea how long she waited in there before I came in. Then staff took forever to bring it to her. I just would never recommend Banana Bay beach to anyone. Food was good and that’s it. Who wants to go to a beach with water only up to your knees?! Freeport is not a favorite in our book it shouldn’t even be a stop. (Just our opinion)
@tjfun71 thx for the heads up. We haven't been to Freeport yet. I've watched other vloggers that share your sentiment. They did not give Freeport positive reviews, either. Actually, one vlogger said she & her husband didn't like the food, beach, or service.

I've been to Vegas & bought 4 nice tees for $20. Guessing the prices were high bc of the economy trying to bounce back due to hurricanes. 😳
Yeah, we noticed most places the tshirts have gone up in price since prior to Covid. It’s sad. And when you do find a shirt for less it’s very thin and cheaply made. 😢

Yes for sure. We thought it was funny when we saw the tiny tv in such a huge room. You see smaller cabins on other cruise lines with these huge TVs..lol 😳

Thank you for your review! I'm new to cruising and booked for this same cruise next April. We live in TX, so we'll be driving to Galveston. My question is, if I'm already paid, and there's a price drop, how do I go about getting a credit? Or is that possible?

Interesting. We enjoyed the food on the Dream very much. Much better than our last cruise which was on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas.
