I can sympathize with the panic attack you had. I went on a cruise to Grand Cayman Island; I did a dolphin/stingray encounter. During the stingray encounter, I couldn't get to the area where the stingrays were. Everyone swam over there and I can't swim. I'm really short (only 4'11") and didn't want to stand up in the water for the fear that it would go over my head. One of the guides offered to "walk" with me over to the sandbar. I floated over there while holding onto his shoulders. When it was time to return to the boat afterwards, I held onto his shoulders while I floated back to the boat. Needless to say that they received a nice tip from me

The captain of our catamaran saw me trying to get a good video of the ship so he drove us all the way around so I could get that footage! They were a really great crew!

Favor-okay on that snorkeling trip the same thing happened to me in Grand Cayman! Not that I couldn’t see, but I was having a silent to myself panic attack after everyone jumped into the water but me! I froze because it was rough water too and my husband was like, babe, what are you doing? Jump in! And at that point everyone was looking at me and I said just give me a second here and then I jumped in and was totally fine after that but I was not a fan of the rough water!! It was fun once I got going. It’s so scary at first because you don’t know what’s lurking underneath, lol. I could totally relate to you and that situation! Thanks for sharing your vlogs-I’m loving them❤

First time I ever visited Key West... before Hurricane Irma. Little old Irish me, almost died when I experienced the intense heat! The humidity makes it so much worse, give me dry heat any day. Hope to snorkel this barrier reef one day! Hopefully soon. Loving the vlogs as usual Favor :).

We just got off our cruise with Consuala Ivy! She was amazing! I was shocked to see her on y’all’s video! We just got off of the Horizon!
You just got off one of our favorite ships! We sailed Horizon last year, vlogs are up. We sailed Dream this past October.. they usually jump from ship to ship and move around throughout the fleet. We have seen many of the Viva Variety acts, they are usually really special and very good!
Great vlog. I have been trying to get us back to key west. It’s been a while. I probably would of been back on that catamaran with you. lol. I really don’t enjoy the water when it gets choppy.

We need to get back to Key West! We were there only once and it was our very first port of call on the Breeze in 2013..so we are due for another trip 🤪 That artwork was amazing! Do you only check in for breakfast or lunch at the MDR? We have an assigned dinner seating in the planner.
Hi, yes if you have assigned dining you only check in the MDR for breakfast, brunch. We had anytime dining, so the wait times for anything in the MDR were long. We are not sure why that was the case. Hugs!
On the Dream. Should I get a normal balcony or a cove ? Looking at 8 day east late April.
SO sorry for my slow reply! We were in a Cove on the Breeze ( Dream's sister ship) and a regular balcony on this ship. The cove's are very private and usually cooler in temperature but the water/waves can be loud when you are on the balcony. Rough weather they will close your balcony door and during refueling sometimes they close the doors. BUT they are so fun and you are so close to the water and they are shaded and again, very private. A regular balcony is fine, not as private and sometimes you can have a noisy neighbor. Other wise they are open, breezy and usually rather quiet with just a gentle hum of the water - depending on how high up you are. It is a personal choice but we really enjoy a cove!
