Good things to always remember, we also have close to 40 cruises, I can pack with my eyes closed. LOL If we have a Florida port, I pack with hangers, so much easier to unpack.

Hi Favor..great tips! I'm such an over packer and probably always will be, but in my mind I like to believe I could pack a carry on and go. I agree, so many items are available onboard or in port. Carrying on your meds and bringing extra days worth is very important.

So glad you didn’t have it so bad from Beryl! We had the remnants a few days later in Chicagoland and wow, we had multiple tornado touchdowns EF0-EF2, one of which was at O’Hare airport! The damage to some trees was devastating! Totally uprooted! And all this in the suburbs of a major city! It’s crazy what’s happening with our atmosphere. You did a great job corralling all your fur babies, they are so loved! Take care!

So glad you guys did so well. We got hit on Sunday 14th with a Tornado in Tucson AZ. All my damages are outside, carport will have to be replaced but I'm safe and feel blessed. Monsoon storms this year have been really bad. I understand the trouble with sleeping. Grateful you guys are ok!

Thank you for sharing with us your experience with Beryl. I was saying a prayer for you all who was affected. I love how BooBear thought he was able to fit inside of the kitty caddy. All of your animals are very beautiful. I just recently lost my senior cat a couple of months ago. She was a calico and was 20 years old. Continue to love on those babies. I prayed for you two

My husband was scheduled for surgery in houston on that monday. We got there Sun night. Had a 'great' view of storm from 12th flr hotel room. They cancelled surgery 8am mon. We left for austin about 12p. Katie area was still having severe weather. Once past Katie, driving was good. Glad ya'll made it through ok. Thanks for updates during, it helped us!

Well good deal!! The derecho started it, but Beryl took out our back fence around 7am. We lost the roof vent cover on our heater exhaust. Fortunately, We have a whole house generator. 34 hours off utility power. The biggest problem we have had was At&t fiber and cell towers being down for 2 weeks. Glad yall made it!!! ❤
