My husband’s cars AC went out. It’s very hot in Chicago too. He keeps taking it in, they keep trying to different ways to fix it.
I bought a car a month ago. It’s the first car payment I’ve had in 12 years!!! They are manageable and I can’t still cruise

First of all, so glad you and your family are ok. I hate you had to miss your fun trip with your friends. You cracked me up with wondering who really buys the Buckee merchandise. We can brag right now that we have the largest store right now. Haha. I know that’s going to change soon but for now it is the biggest🤣🤣🤣. Anyway you wouldn’t believe the amount of swim trunks and shirts they sell there. It’s crazy what I see people buying when I visit.
Hi Favor and Robert.so sorry you had to cancel your cruise .We canc led our back to back in Oct for Europe we would be gone for a month .but now that my daughter and son in law work for law enforcement if a storm comes we are they evacuation for their children and pets . that's how it goes in south Louisiana . when we booked the cruise they weren't in law enforcement . only cruising fall,winter, and spring now . ❤️🛳️😊

We just got power back last night in west side. It’s been a very rough week. I have a tree on my roof but it’s going be repaired soon. Glad to see you are all well. hope to be cruising again soon!
About the van, we had a mini van for several years, it was great for carrying lots of people and for long car trips. The seats are comfy and the air conditioners worked great. Yes there’s more than AC. The back seats have their own air. Nice!

I would love a travel insurance video!! I have 3 cruises booked currently and don’t know when to start an insurance plan. Would love help!
Hi. Hopping in to say get the insurance now. The sooner the better. I have an annual plan but carnival told me that had I had their insurance I would have been refunded then and there. I’ve filed with my carrier, it is a 7-10 business day process. I will decide once I have an answer from my carrier if I will be renewing or buying the cruise line policies. Some require you to purchase before final payment or even within 30 days of booking to be effective on your cruise. Lots of little nuances. Ugh. Hugs!

@@LifeWithFavor I have 1 Princess cruise in Sept 2024 with Princess Insurance and 2 Carnival Cruises 1- Feb and the other in May. Both with Carnival Insurance but I would like to start an annual plan. How and when would I start the annual plan?
Glad you made it through the storm ok. My friend who lives in Houston took off for Atlanta the day before the storm hit for work, but luckily her husband was home to take care of the house and the dogs. I’ll be heading down to Houston in February for a cruise with my friend. Taking her on princess for her first time and I hope she loves it.

We love the Harbor House. We always stay there when we cruise. I got a picture of the eagle when we cruised on the Jubilee in May.

lol I'm stingy also, had a 93 Silverado then replaced that had a 2001 Ford F150 that just went. Oh had 93 (?) Dodge Dynasty that our 2 oldest learned to drive in from my mom until 2013? Our son is leasing now. Our newest, which is in storage due to my husbands auto immune issue is a 2015 ZOOM ZOOM car. I don't need a speeding ticket, currently in a 07 Impala.

You are right, hit islands outside of hurricane zones, like Barbados, Grenada and other Southern islands . Those "normally" outside of the zone. It usually happens every 20 years, it's the unpredictability that really is concerning. You would have been a horrible mess if you didn't cancel. It was bad enough stress, you'll need to carve time to truly decompress. Like that every really happens for must of us.
Look into what kind of wick they use for the Beauty Pie (?) candles. If the wicks have any metal in them that will happen. At least in the past that was a big reason behind the buildup. Not sure about now.
We had remnants of Beryl come up to lower Michigan 2 days ago. Now our air quality levels are through the roof. All of this from a out of control weather system.
Guessing you got your internet back and hoping you still have power.
