Wow why are people so harsh on you sometimes. Personally I’d like to thank you for the solo cruise videos, we have loved watching them, great fun seeing the water park and perfect day! Well done Kyle, great content, stay happy, ignore any negativity, stay travelling and enjoying every second of the wonderful life you’ve worked hard to build, keep them vlogs coming. 😊👏 x
I have done it, it feels a little awkward without having someone with you, but other than that it is the same. Sometimes there are a single cruiser meet and greet. It is mostly just so u get over the awkwardness of doing things solo.
Eh all I have done is solo cruises. They never bothered me much, usually by the end of day one I have random acquittances, and by end of day two I have friends. I have about 3 different group chats I am in from the different cruises I have been on, so I don't truly solo cruise anymore. One person from the group is always going on a cruise, and I have one cruise I can take every year that will have about 6+ people I know on it.
Man it’s so sad some people really love to hate on you in the comment section, Kyle. Please ignore them. Thank you for being who you are, some people love your personality including me and obviously so does Casey but some people love to think she doesn’t, thank you for the information on the cruise ship and about the ship itself, thank you for stating that solo cruising is fun for those people who can’t always go with someone, and thanks for continuing to vlog regardless of the hate that you receive! Great video 😊
NCL solo cruiser here. I loved it! I stayed in the solo suite with other solo cruisers. We had our own coffee social area with board games. And they arranged dinner for those in the suite to dine together if you chose to do so. I did specialty dining and dressed up for it and a few NCL excursions. The room was spacious, and the bed was super comfy. I'm doing another solo cruise later this year on NCL. I highly recommend them.
I've done 2 solo Caribbean cruises with NCL, and I love the solo studio rooms and the lounge. The solo coordinators were very different on each ship, but were very helpful and always organized dinners for ppl who didn't want to eat on their own.
I'm a big NCL solo cruiser too! I'm Sapphire with NCL. Agree that it's hit or miss with the solo concierges. You will have ones that you will never forget their names, who are wonderful, and then you'll have a few bad ones here and there, usually the ones that aren't that experienced. Romeo on NCL Escape was the best solo concierge I ever had! I've also met friends from all over the world and we keep in touch on WhatsApp and I've traveled with one friend I met on an NCL solo cruise and we've done 7 solo cruises together as friends. I tell everyone about NCL...that it's the best for solo cruising... whether single or married and just want to travel alone for a vacation. You tend to have even more fun on the longer cruises because you bond more with the people since there's more time... Like the 10-day ones and longer. Love NCL!!!😊
I just did my 7th solo cruise last week. 11 days on the NCL Prima and the only time I was alone was when I was in my cabin. I cannot imagine sharing my cabin with anyone and I always book a balcony!
I’m looking for a travel companion to go on a cruise and other destinations. I finally have the time and money and I don’t mind being solo, but i think it would be more fun with another person.
Hey, I’m watching now. This is the first time that I’m seeing you! Love it, and love your personality, man! I am a single person and I do everything solo, the majority of the time. So, it was fun seeing someone doing an adventure that I would be doing!! I will definitely be subscribing and watching all your content.
I have cruised solo in the past three years and love it. Appreciated your current videos on the Allure. Older ship but still wonderful - in your cabin tour I spied a duck! Happy Sailing!
My last two solo cruises were on Allure - she’s my absolute favorite of all the ships!! And I love that it does not have the Abyss Slide blocking the views of the Boardwalk balconies to the Aquatheatre and wake view. FYI, you can cross the entire ship on Deck 8 thru Central Park if you want to bypass the main promenade traffic. 😁

Solo cruises are the absolute best! I did a solo cruise to the bahamas out of port canaveral on the carnival freedom as a 21 year old and I WAS LIVING MY BEST LIFE🥳🤪
I cruised solo when I was 19 (Male) am now 74 and I shared a cabin with an American guy we sailed from Venice italy down the Adriatic and flew back to London
I did the Allure in September 2016 as a solo cruiser. It was a 5 day from NJ to Bahamas, then back to NJ. Right after that, NJ up the east coast to Canada and Nova Socitia. Total of 14 days. Loved it. I got to stay in the same room for both cruises.
I've been on many cruises. But I think just 2 brands, Carnival & Virgin Voyages. I've been watching cruise videos for fun because going on another cruise soon. I watched the Margaritaville cruise, and then this one. I have to say, they are like opposites. But both fun in their own ways. But yes, Royal is very nicely done and decorated! Virgin is great too, Carnival I liked years ago but don't care for it much anymore, still nice enough. I'll have to try a Royal.
I remember family vacation down South when little. The waitress brought us a few pats of butter. My Dad said, “We are from Wisconsin, bring us the whole stick!”😂
Sailed the same ship with my husband! That was several years ago and it was wonderful! Loved your personality and perspective! Makes me want to go again but, this year it's the Poconos, maybe next year. Look forward to your next adventure.
im on the carnival conquest in 90 days for my first ever solo cruise and my second cruise ever and cant wait you will LOVE the brazilian steakhouse themed restaraunt, , i go to one once a month locally my fave restaraunt
Ok, I finally caught up to the cruise series. Let's go!!! Ship's beautiful. I like the fact that you could dine by yourself - that's what I was curious about on a solo trip.
I did a solo cruise on Voyager last year for Halloween. This year early to mid December (9 to 14) I will be on an essentially solo cruise on Mariner, I’m going with a friend, it’s her first cruise, but aside from excursions and boarding, she’s free to explore at her leisure and do what she wants. For me, I’ll likely spend a lot of time in the solarium. As a part of the Facebook roll call group, we are planning a meet and greet bar crawl, so at the very least I will get to meet new people. I’m not a big drinker, but I did get the drink package, alcohol helps me loosen up, gets rid of my social/approach anxiety. I’m just hoping for a good relaxing time.
I been on allure of sea on April of 2023 before when it was in Galveston, Texas. It was a very cool ship. I wish it has slides on it. I was on deck 12 balcony. All of the shows are very awesome. My favorite is the ice show and the water show. Someday I will be on the icon of the sea.
kyle, to get a comp’d cruise you kinda need to gamble at least 200 per night. we have been on 3 comp’d ones and that’s kinda the sweet spot. ask JJ cruises for more tips on that.
I have cruised on the allure of the seas three awesome times! I look forward to hearing your story solo because it’s looking like I may have to go solo next time!
Sorrento's is so good. There were a couple of times on my last cruise that we just did pizza and drinks instead of the main dining room, and no regrets were had!
Kyle you have been on enough cruises already. Upon boarding get food immediately as they close them for the drills and many have weird hours on embarkation day afternoon .
Kudos for going solo. Before I met my wife I never did anything solo. I wanted to but my anxiety was too much. Even concerts. I'd buy tickets but than the day of the show I'd get anxious and end up eating the cost of the ticket and stay at home.
@@zworld5154 anxiety or not being single is for doing things alone, why marry someone you don’t want to spend your time with. and then men complain the divorce rate is so high. none of these men actually want to be married, she just made him more confident
just came back, my first cruise so it was a nice experience. spent a lot of time at sorentos and cafe promenade since its opened late. sorentos had free pizza and water. cafe promenade had free water, coffee, some wraps and dessert for free, the special coffee cost extra which i avoided. up in the pool deck is a small area with free ice cream, went there many times. Love the main dining room for dinner, as me being poor, never got to tried food like that. food was the best there, fresh and got to try foods i never tried before. you can book it for 5pm or 8pm dinner, my family wanted to change times, so we just talk to the manager and he switched it for us. For breakfast, we prefer the wind jammer buffet cause they serve almost the same things as the breakfast of the main dining room, the breakfast buffet at windjammer had more options. For lunch, we had mexican food when we were at coco bay that was free, buffet style. didn't get to try the mexican restaraunt on the boat, because it closes so early, i think 5pm. we were either nassau port or coco bay port, by the time we got back, it was usually closed. theres also park cafe, but i didn't really like it, they had free bagels, and the same wraps they have at cafe promenade. hot dog stand was good, it was free, only used it once cause windjammer buffet had me so stuffed already. The shows weren't really for me, i watched mama mia, aqua show, ice skating. I enjoyed the comedians, he kept of making fun of people that sat in front or came in late. I enjoyed the adult games, it was a nice laugh. enjoyed the pool and hot tub at night, you can rent towels, but if you don't bring it back, they charge you for it. I heard a couple of people in front of me got mad cause their cleaners took their towels in the hotel room, now they are on the hook for it. Nassau wasn't bad, i heard many reports of crime and stuff. We just stayed near the port, there was live music and lots of small gift shops so we just looked around. if you venture a little further from the port, you do have people harassing you for taxi or to buy stuff, but never felt threaten. Family enjoyed coco cay and the beaches, free ice cream, water, watered down juice, and the mexican buffet. overall a nice experience, there's a 18 dollars a day tip per person, so it adds up. Check the tv, you can scan a qr code for events for the day, or there's a channel that tells you what events are on. For shows, we booked them, but missed all of them, so we just lined up when they had a showing at another time, people that book first got in first, which is fine, plenty of room. for my first cruised, overall i enjoyed it.
funniest part hands down was 29:43 when Carlton the bartender starts singing genuine, he was about to go its 7 oclock on the dot im in my drop top cruisin the streets hahahaha but no, kyle goes I GOT THIS ITS 5 OCLOCK SOMEWHERE!!!!!! i mean, dude did say a number i guess! hahahahaha great video i love it!
Done two solo cruises, a Royal Caribbean from Venice Italy and a P&O from Valletta Malta … loved both, P&O was better, but only coz it rained most of RCL cruise and we missed two ports due to night winds
I’ll be on the final cruise before Allure goes to get refurbished. Feb 3-10, Atlantis Events charter out of Miami then she does a Trans Atlantic crossing to dry dock.
Kyle, next time check the plug for the lamp. I don't need both. Usually they are EU plugs, I bring a EU to US adapter to have my phone/tablet on bedside table.
I love my family and friends, but I also LOVE cruising solo! Being able to do what you want when you want is SO self-indulgent. But isn't that what vacation is all about. It is also very easy to start up conversations with fellow passengers when you're on your own. When I was cruising on the Icon, my room was just two decks below the AquaMarket - giving me easy - and dangerous - access to the salted caramel crepes!! I know they were planning to "amp" the Allure when COVID hit - I think they're planning to add some slides & other stuff to appeal more to families with kids. I think the Champagne Bar, Sabor, and the Viking Crown Lounge are all going away. Not sure what is replacing them - maybe a Pesky Parrot and the BBQ Restaurant?
My first ever cruise was on the Allure...loved it ...did the Harmony after that (another Oasis class ship). Then went on a nice size Celebrity ship (Eclipse). After that i wont go on anythig but an Oasis class. And of course im gonna get on that Icon...cant wait.
I like that you didn’t get a drink package! It’s ok to not have a drink package and just limit your drinking for a cruise! I never buy a drink package I rather buy specialty dining and internet lol I love royal! I’ll be on utopia in December and oasis in Feb next year! Can’t wait!
I have been on quite a few cruises, solo and always with Royal Caribbean. My absolute favourite ship was Radiance, the Queen of ships for me. I would have loved to have been able to cruise her sister ship Harmony. Unfortunately, Radiance does not come to Australia anymore, my first solo cruise was on Radiance and from day 1 I was never alone. On that cruise I met a group of amazing people from all walks of life and for the next 8 days we became great friends and still are. Deck 9 was our dedicated spot for morning coffee and talking about our plans for the day ahead. Voyager was not my favourite as it reminded me of navigating my way through a busy Westfield shopping centre, not relaxing at all. When travelling solo these ships have meet and greet time for other solo passengers, I think that is available on day 2. My tips for cruising solo, I always buy the premium drinks package online before boarding which includes not only alcohol but coffee, soft drinks and water and make sure I get a cabin close to the lifts and stairs.
I think those two Long Islands are starting to kick in at 14:25. LOL! Diction starts to lack. I LOVE it Kyle! (Get some food in ya'!) EDIT: ADDITION: 15:53. A) B) C) So hilarious! Don't ever make another video without having at least TWO Long Islands first! you're the best! LMAO!

funniest part hands down was 29:43 when Carlton the bartender starts singing genuine, he was about to go its 7 oclock on the dot im in my drop top cruisin the streets hahahaha but no, kyle goes I GOT THIS ITS 5 OCLOCK SOMEWHERE!!!!!! i mean, dude did say a number i guess! hahahahaha great video i love it!
Done two solo cruises, a Royal Caribbean from Venice Italy and a P&O from Valletta Malta … loved both, P&O was better, but only coz it rained most of RCL cruise and we missed two ports due to night winds
FYI there are like 3 more 110 outlets and a European outlet in that room. Two under desk (with European plug) and one under bed.
I’ll be on the final cruise before Allure goes to get refurbished. Feb 3-10, Atlantis Events charter out of Miami then she does a Trans Atlantic crossing to dry dock.
I love your courage to do solo cruises. I could never do it. I absolutely love it though. You make the best videos.
Kyle, next time check the plug for the lamp. I don't need both. Usually they are EU plugs, I bring a EU to US adapter to have my phone/tablet on bedside table.
I have done Allure of The Seas twice and it was a Phenomenonal experience.
Hey thanks for your videos! I have been vicariously traveling through RUclips while I home care my dad. Hope to take a cruise sometime.
I wouldn't usually consider going to the ice show, but that one looked a lot of fun.
I do agree that a Long Island is totally enjoyable… I like the British Pub style too
My first ever cruise was on the Allure...loved it ...did the Harmony after that (another Oasis class ship).
Can’t wait!
Kyle, are you drunk? Or is that just your happy wanderer voice?
A little bit as he started with 2 Long Island Ice Teas on an empty stomach
I love solo cruising. There great.
Leaving on my first solo cruise Thursday!! Big cruiser but I’ve never gone on my own, you just got me so excited!! 🎉
We just booked the Allure in Europe after its dry dock Sept 2025. They are calling it Allure Amplified. We cannot wait!!!
When OotS came out, I remember seeing something about renting a bunk for solo cruisers. Must have been my imagination.
I’ve only done 2 cruises but I did the, both solo and it was fun…but that was 30yrs ago
Have sailed her 4 times and always a super time!
Don’t skip Mama Mia. It’s great
One minute you are say 2 to 3 drinks a day next minute you are saying 3 to 4 drinks a day 😀😀😀😀😀🥹
That's not enough
He has had more than enough .
I love the ship! It’s so comfortable and has a homey feeling. I would love to have a vacation on this one. ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We all need time ALONE, I don’t know why, but it always refreshes me and calms my interior….🙏🏽❤️🌴
This makes me regret booking a trip. Ugh. Too much, too loud. I hope my ship is smaller. Thanks for sharing.
Just know if u book a smaller shop there is not as much to do. But do what you want
Love your cruise videos! This ship is beautiful 🤩
LMAO!
😂😂
I’m going for my first cruise in June on the Allure I cannot wait!
Great video, thanks! Felt like I was keeping you company on your solo cruise, very fun!
I was able to board last week in Miami on Independence of the Seas over an hour before my actual boarding time it was so quick & easy
I love this so much!! Thank you so much for sharing it with me at the dining room tonight. Welcome back onboard. Shaun❤
