I was on recent Virgin Cruise on Scarlet Lady but same layout and I had such a great time. The pizza was the best an we ate it every night after our late night fun. Great blog and brought back tons of memories of my Cruise. I will say Virgin does have the best food at sea hands down!!! Looks like Jo Jo was feeling quite good on day 1... way to go! They make you wait outside, yet on the inside of the terminal there was tons of empty waiting space. Kinda seems like a big miss for Virgin. I’m gonna stick to Royal.
They're very clear about not arriving before your scheduled boarding time to allow for seamless boarding. It's unlike so many other cruise lines who let you in early if you arrive early. Jojo should have had early boarding privileges anyway with Extra Blue perks since it was his 5th VV cruise.

Depends on the line, but USUALLY Ticket, room, food are all included, some lines include drinks others you buy by the drink, or you can purchase a drink package. Some lines have free included restaurants and premium pay ones, others everything is included.
The cutest thing ever was my 20 yo son saying "night night clothes" instead of pajamas or jammies. We always called them night night clothes and it's stuck. Hopefully when he and his sister have kids, they will also call them night night clothes. That will make 3 generations of that term.
