I agree. We did our first big family cruise last year with Carnival and I sent a link out from one of their vids to 50 or 60 of my cousins aunts and uncles that had never been on a cruise B4 and it saved us a lot of time.
One more comment that I forgot to mention earlier. I’ve been on Royal, NCL and Celebrity and you are 100% right none of those ships know how to give a sail away party better than Carnival! I am loyal to Royal but Carnival got them beat hands down!
I was just on Allure Dec 1 - Dec 4 and was blown away. Also Crazy Quest was 18 and older. Had a great time that I booked another cruise for next year with them
I went on Allure in 2019. What was supposed to be a 7 day ended up being a 10 day because of Hurricane Dorian. It was a beautiful ship and an amazing time.
Royal is awesome! Honestly I am not loyal to any cruise line. Each cruise line offers different amenities and unique things to get into. We cruise carnival, royal, Norwegian, celebrity, virgin. Just hop on a ship and get the fun started.. hell I’ll take any ship 😊 Great vlog, we enjoyed watching your vlog and it’s great to see you both take a plunge into the royal side.

Allure of the Seas was my 1st cruise & we loved it!...highly suggest spending the extra money & booking a suite!! It comes with so many upgrades & specialty eating was just like you mentioned. Room was HUGE & service was AMAZING the entire time!!
We’ve done both Carnival 2X and Royal several times and we love Royal more than Carnival. For our family, Royal is just a better experience. Not saying Carnival isn’t good, it it’s just not what we like. We haven’t been to CoCo Cay, but we fell in love with Labadi, Hati…..pure tranquility!1. Thanks for sharing.
We did although due to the weather we couldn’t dock in the Bahamas, Princess Cays, or Freeport. So we stayed on the boat for 4 straight days. 2nd cruise booked for October with a much better deal and looking forward to getting off the ship the time.

I took my 2 kids and they absolutely loved it I feel like it’s something for everyone of every age at least on the oasis class ships. And that aqua show we were absolutely amazed! We’re going on anthem of the seas next week hoping that it’s just as good as our last experience! Can’t wait to hear your experience on the icon!!!!

On the last day he was in the Windjammer with several teens clapping and singing the song. It was the cutest thing and definitely memorable 🥰
Great review! I'm "loyal to Carnival" but I like that RC is quite cheap when you cruise with kids (kids sail free!! With Carnival I pay FULL price for my 2 year old...). And it is more geared toward kids. The sailaway and the public didn't look like my cuppa tea, but I definitely feel like RC is better for little kids. Won't ever stop cruising Carnival bc Carnival cruisers... those are my people!! - but I may definitely try RC one day!
We have sailed on Allure twice out of Galveston. Just got off of Harmony for our second cruise on her. We also have sailed on Symphony also. Compared to the carnival ships I’ve been on Carnival is fun but can’t compare to an Oasis ship. Eating in the windjammer for Breakfast is only busy at certain times. Be early or late and it’s not so busy in our experience. My experience n the Carnival buffet is the same. Been on Vista twice, always hard to find a seat. I definitely agree with y’all on The fillet at Chops. I eaten there twice, best fillet at sea. I’m not sure about your food scheduling, but you should be able to do it before you board. I always have unless I had a free specialty dining from my TA. Great review, y’all definitely are funny.
I’ve been on 5 cruises on the sister ship, Oasis of the Seas. This review is spot on… I’ve only been in Royal Caribbean and Disney, so I can’t comment on other cruise lines, but what they said about this one is spot on.

Hey RVA fam! I was patiently waiting for this review and am so glad you enjoyed RC. We just got back yesterday from a vacation on the Allure. I had an amazing time on this beautiful ship. It was definitely money well spent. The first section in the Wind Jammer is always packed but there are 3 other sections with food and seating to choose from. The shows were great and I loved spending so much of my time outside in the different neighborhoods. I loved all the live music throughout the ship. I was shocked by my experience on Carnival Celebration compared to this 14 year old ship. This ship solidified my loyalty to Royal. I love your channel and will continue to explore other ships and cruise lines but RC is home.
I love Allure of the Seas (RC) and Mardi Gras (Carnival), I’m Diamond(RC) and Platinum (Carnival) so I enjoy both. We love cruising and take each ship’s experiences for what it is.
Wow. The Perfect Day tram usually just goes around the whole island and u can get on and off at each stop if u want...I've never seen what u described...That's interesting.
I say check out all the different cruise lines. I've been on 2 carnival cruises going on the 3rd one in February. I want to eventually check out royal caribbean and Norwegian.
I went on Allure of the Seas last year and it was my first Royal Cruise too! I feel the same way you felt about Allure. I would do it again. It's a different vibe than Carnival but we had a great time. The main dining room was terrible lol. We ate there one time and never went back. Thank God I had specialty dining and we ended up picking up an extra restaurant or 2. The food at the specialty restaurants were so much better. I also enjoyed the shows. I haven't been to Coca Cay yet but I'm hopefully on my next RCL I'll get to go. But my next cruise is Carnival lol
I was heavily considering RCCL since they've brought their larger ships to Galveston...now y'all have pushed me to go ahead and book one for 2025 after my Jubilee sailing.

I love your videos. I just started cruising and my 1st cruise was with Wonder of the Seas. Things are definitely different from ship to ship. The food I had on the Wonder was great! My family that I went on the Wonder with is now on the Mariner and they said the food isnt as good. I have two more Royal cruises booked next year. Odyssey in March and Freedom in June. I hope I will get to meet you guys one day. I'm debating on doing Carnival one day but right now I have 2 more Royals booked. Not to mention these are all free besides taxes and port fees. I gamble so Hard Rock Casino gave me 2 free. Wonder are Odyssey are the free ones from Hard Rock. I then gambled on Royal and now am part of Club Royale and they also gave me a free cruise. That's how some people get hooked to one cruise line. I absolutely loved Wonder though. Like you said if you are bored you are choosing to be. Oasis class ships have way too much to offer to be bored. We did a 7 night on Wonder and missed sooooo much stuff because we didnt have the time.

We just got back on Monday! We had a ball! We didn’t even get to all the ship! 30 friends went and we celebrated 4 birthdays on December! Gotta do again!
I have cruised on Carnivel. Just returned from Royal's Freedom of the Seas with family members. The food on Freedom was awesome. Even the crab cakes were good. Cococay was great. I was surprised how good the buffet at Chill Island on Cococay was good too. I would like to travel on the Allure soon. My preference is Royal for now but will travel on other lines for experiences.😊

We went on our first RC cruise in December and it was on the Allure of the Seas! We usually do Carnival as well. Although we didn't get to visit its island because of rough Seas it was still a great time.

Love this video. I sailed RC for the first time ever in August and loved it too. Carnival is still my first love but RC was so great. I got the next cruise deal too while I was on the ship and booked it for my birthday in 2025. I sailed the Voyager which is smaller and still thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have traveled Royal and Carnival...I liked Royal better because it offered so much for my family...when we traveled Carnival back in the day it was so much fun for me and my husband...we stayed on the Independence of the Seas with a balcony it was much bigger than Carnival's
We just got back from a 6 day Royal Caribbean cruise. The exact same destinations. It was our first RC cruise too. We were Nov 27th - Dec 2nd. We had a blast. The Allure was next to our ship and it towered over it!!! lol We were on the Enchantment.
I only cruise Royal Caribbean because my group age ranges from 73 to 2 years old. There is plenty of fun and entertainment for everyone. I do agree that Johnny Rocket should be included in your cost. My next sail date is October 2024 on Wonder of the Seas. I doubt I would ever try Carnival, but it sounds like a fun ship.
First of all I want to say I am so glad you enjoyed your Royal Caribbean experience. You were right about the MDR food. They do have a lot of hit and miss. You are also right about Johnny Rockets it should be free. I laughed out loud when you said Guys burgers can whip a burger on the grill better than Johnny Rockets! I forgot how you word it but I laughed. I have never been at the Perfect Day at Coco Cay and I am looking forward to going there in August. I am going on the Wonders of the Seas. I’ve been on your ship before and really had a good time. I did the zip lining and my knees were knocking! Lol! The Freedom of the seas is nice too. Nice review! I went on Allure for my first cruise back in 2012.. it was amazing. Since then, I went on Athem, Oasis and recently did Wonder in October. Had a great time with all. I’m going in Icon in Sept. I can’t wait and can’t wait to see y’all review!!

My first two cruises were on Carnival ships. In February, I am going on Allure of the Seas with friends from college just to see what it's like, but in September, I will be back with Carnival on Mardi Gras.

Neither one of us has ever had a desire to go on a cruise until now. We're both excited and scared at the same time. My countdown clock says we have 24 days, 2 hours, 52 mins, 42 seconds. That's how excited I am. I have researched it too death, but your video has made it quite easy for me.
I am so glad you both enjoyed Royal Caribbean! We share several of the same thoughts. My husband and I love to cruise and have taken 30+ cruises since we started in 2008. We have predominately sailed with Carnival but have tried Disney, NCL and of course Royal. Royal is definitely my favorite for a relaxing fun time. We normally sail with Royal around my birthday in January and Carnival in the summer months. Here lately I find that if Carnival entertainment and guests would be on Royal…..OMGGGGG! All in all I will definitely be traveling with them all, but Royal is definitely top of the list. Congrats on the inaugural sailing with ICON of the Seas, I know it will be EPIC! I keep watching you guys to check out Virgin, still haven’t booked yet, but planning to try. Maybe a shorter one first to get a taste. I appreciate all the content you bring. 30 seconds into your video, as a first-timer, I LOVES YALL!! "Let's talk about it!" Did it for me!! My lady and I are going on our first cruise in July. It happens to be this ship, and the date and departing port just fit with our schedule. We will be watching all of your videos moving forward.
Went to coco key in november and it is HUGE. I was out of breath walking to splashaway bay. the mdr food is mediocre now but you wont be huntry. the daily activities are so so. RCCL is for adventure
This was a cool review. I will say Royal's ships have different vibes and even the same ships depending on the sailing can have different vibes. I recently did a weekend cruise on Royal's Freedom of the Seas and babyyyyyy them folks on board came to party HARD. But I've done Independence of the Seas for 5 nights and it wasn't as crazy. Same ship class tho. Did an 8 night on Anthem and that vibe was different too. So it can vary. Sailings during the time of year when kids are school will feel different than sailings in the summer months when there are more kids and families on board. I recently sailed Virgin and the vibe wasn't anywhere near as lively as what I've seen on RUclips...and I was actually mostly bored during that week. That's 1 thing I love about Royal is how much they have going on throughout the ship throughout the day. No way to be bored. Also, heads up, on the Oasis class ships, Johnny Rockets breakfast is included, not specialty class. And that broke my heart that yalls crab cake wasn't good!!! Lol nooooo I have never had had crab cake on any on my Royal cruises.

Rc drink pkg expensive but again blk fri deal saved $250 for 2.. Showers are ridiculously small. Great review Covers lots! Thnx

It was nice a different vibe for sure. Carnival does the best sail away. Both lines are good and offer different things. Nothing like guys burger joint though.

My family that I went on the Wonder with is now on the Mariner and they said the food isnt as good. I have two more Royal cruises booked next year. Odyssey in March and Freedom in June. I hope I will get to meet you guys one day. I'm debating on doing Carnival one day but right now I have 2 more Royals booked. Not to mention these are all free besides taxes and port fees. I gamble so Hard Rock Casino gave me 2 free. Wonder are Odyssey are the free ones from Hard Rock. I then gambled on Royal and now am part of Club Royale and they also gave me a free cruise. That's how some people get hooked to one cruise line. I absolutely loved Wonder though. Like you said if you are bored you are choosing to be. Oasis class ships have way too much to offer to be bored. We did a 7 night on Wonder and missed sooooo much stuff because we didnt have the time.

Glad you enjoyed your Allure cruise. Not all experiences are the same as my 5 cruises on Allure in no way included MJ everywhere nor security checking cabins. All dining, including the unlimited must be reserved onboard. Hop to see you onboard sometime.

Idk about that. It’s slower pace than we like but we like it overall because of the variety. Virgin is our go too.. lux and excitement 🥰
We just got back on Monday! We had a ball! We didn’t even get to all the ship! 30 friends went and we celebrated 4 birthdays on December! Gotta do again!
I have cruised on Carnivel. Just returned from Royal's Freedom of the Seas with family members. The food on Freedom was awesome. Even the crab cakes were good.
Cococay was great. I was surprised how good the buffet at Chill Island on Cococay was good too. I would like to travel on the Allure soon. My preference is Royal for now but will travel on other lines for experiences.😊
We travel both Royal and Carnival! We go carnival to have fun and Royal to relax! LoL Allure of the Seas in April can’t wait!

We went on our first RC cruise in December and it was on the Allure of the Seas! We usually do Carnival as well. Although we didn't get to visit its island because of rough Seas it was still a great time.

Yeah!!!!!!! I love the FACT that you guys tried a Royal Caribbean ship and one of the big ones at that! Yeah!! I'm so HAPPY!!!! Love this video. I sailed RC for the first time ever in August and loved it too. Carnival is still my first love but RC was so great. I got the next cruise deal too while I was on the ship and booked it for my birthday in 2025. I sailed the Voyager which is smaller and still thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have traveled Royal and Carnival...I liked Royal better because it offered so much for my family...when we traveled Carnival back in the day it was so much fun for me and my husband...we stayed on the Independence of the Seas with a balcony it was much bigger than Carnival's

We just got back from a 6 day Royal Caribbean cruise. The exact same destinations. It was our first RC cruise too. We were Nov 27th - Dec 2nd. We had a blast. The Allure was next to our ship and it towered over it!!! lol We were on the Enchantment.

I only cruise Royal Caribbean because my group age ranges from 73 to 2 years old. There is plenty of fun and entertainment for everyone. I do agree that Johnny Rocket should be included in your cost. My next sail date is October 2024 on Wonder of the Seas. I doubt I would ever try Carnival, but it sounds like a fun ship.

First of all I want to say I am so glad you enjoyed your Royal Caribbean experience. You were right about the MDR food. They do have a lot of hit and miss. You are also right about Johnny Rockets it should be free. I laughed out loud when you said Guys burgers can whip a burger on the grill better than Johnny Rockets! I forgot how you word it but I laughed. I have never been at the Perfect Day at Coco Cay and I am looking forward to going there in August. I am going on the Wonders of the Seas. I’ve been on your ship before and really had a good time. I did the zip lining and my knees were knocking! Lol! The Freedom of the seas is nice too. I am totally surprised you booked the Icon of the Seas! I can’t wait to here about that one. Thank you for being open and honest.

Nice review! I went on Allure for my first cruise back in 2012.. it was amazing. Since then, I went on Athem, Oasis and recently did Wonder in October. Had a great time with all. I’m going in Icon in Sept. I can’t wait and can’t wait to see y’all review!!

Neither one of us has ever had a desire to go on a cruise until now. We're both excited and scared at the same time. My countdown clock says we have 24 days, 2 hours, 52 mins, 42 seconds. That's how excited I am. I have researched it too death, but your video has made it quite easy for me.

I am so glad you both enjoyed Royal Caribbean! We share several of the same thoughts. My husband and I love to cruise and have taken 30+ cruises since we started in 2008. We have predominately sailed with Carnival but have tried Disney, NCL and of course Royal. Royal is definitely my favorite for a relaxing fun time. We normally sail with Royal around my birthday in January and Carnival in the summer months. Here lately I find that if Carnival entertainment and guests would be on Royal…..OMGGGGG! All in all I will definitely be traveling with them all, but Royal is definitely top of the list. Congrats on the inaugural sailing with ICON of the Seas, I know it will be EPIC! I keep watching you guys to check out Virgin, still haven’t booked yet, but planning to try. Maybe a shorter one first to get a taste. I appreciate all the content you bring. Jump in... Virgin is IT in my opinion but its not for everyone. Its yacht style but we love it.
Once you all go on Virgin you will want to go nowhere else

Went to coco key in november and it is HUGE. I was out of breath walking to splashaway bay. the mdr food is mediocre now but you wont be huntry. the daily activities are so so. RCCL is for adventure

This was a cool review. I will say Royal's ships have different vibes and even the same ships depending on the sailing can have different vibes. I recently did a weekend cruise on Royal's Freedom of the Seas and babyyyyyy them folks on board came to party HARD. But I've done Independence of the Seas for 5 nights and it wasn't as crazy. Same ship class tho. Did an 8 night on Anthem and that vibe was different too. So it can vary. Sailings during the time of year when kids are school will feel different than sailings in the summer months when there are more kids and families on board. I recently sailed Virgin and the vibe wasn't anywhere near as lively as what I've seen on RUclips...and I was actually mostly bored during that week. That's 1 thing I love about Royal is how much they have going on throughout the ship throughout the day. No way to be bored.
Also, heads up, on the Oasis class ships, Johnny Rockets breakfast is included, not specialty class.
And that broke my heart that yalls crab cake wasn't good!!! Lol nooooo I have never had had crab cake on any on my Royal cruises.

I enjoyed your review. My first cruise was with carnival last year on the Magic and I loved it! My hubby and I cruised on Oasis of the seas this august for our anniversary. It was nice a different vibe for sure. Carnival does the best sail away. Both lines are good and offer different things. Nothing like guys burger joint though.
