Thank you for these tips. I have watched many videos, but I learn something new in every one. I’m going on Allure in 31 days and it will be my very first cruise. Going with my 3 daughters. This makes me excited.
I think tip #10 about the outdoor diving show is your most important tip. Added to that is to book all of the shows you want to see as soon as you can Most shows are no going to get rained out so you can book any of those last.
Thank you so much for those interesting and helpful tips & tricks! We'll be sailing Allure soon on a back to back, (3 & 4 day). I love the theme nights on Royal Caribbean, especially since we don't go out much at home! 😆 The Aqua shows are amazing! We saw one on Harmony and enjoyed every minute! Have fun and be safe on your future cruises!
Thank you! We are going to step onboard in July 2025. They are supposed to refresh the ship in early 2025 so it may look a little different by the time we get onboard!
I'd expect it to reflect some of the changes made to other Oasis class ships - maybe the loss of Sabor? Time will tell! Hope you have a great cruise next year!
I watched all your videos on this cruise and enjoyed all of it. Very informative and funny. I’m going on the allure with my wife and two teenage daughters. Question you mentioned the dinner packages but not the drink package did you guys feel it was a necessity or pay as you go was just fine. Thx
Thanks so much for your kind words! In our opinion, you need to do the math on the drink package. We came out pretty much even with drinks, but didn't drink nearly as much as we could have (not a bad thing). The average drinks are $9-$14 so we'd say, look at what the drink package would cost on your cruise and see if you could make each day worth it. We're sailing on a longer cruise with more stops in the fall and we're not doing the drink package as we plan to be off the ship a lot more. If we were to do this exact Bahamas sailing again, I think we'd get the drink package to be honest. Sorry if that was a lot! Hope you have the best time on your cruise!
Great question. This really varies by person. If you're susceptible to motion sickness, low and mid is best. If not and you prefer to be closer to the action, try something higher up with a balcony if you can swing it. This ship has the interior balcony staterooms as well which are intriguing but we were always skeptical of how much noise came through from the central park area. Overall decide what your priorities are and look up deck plans to make sure you're not right next to a dance club (or below it). The ship certainly has a space for everyone!
Hi I have just finished a Med cruise on Odessey of the seas and I had a solo balcony stateroom with no supplements charges, are there any solo staterooms on Allure of the seas, Regards Des
No slides on the ship at the moment but it's getting a refurb during the upcoming dry dock so there may be a slide incoming! If not there is still plenty for kids to do between the zip line, rock wall, age specific kids clubs that you can register your kids for, an arcade, sports courts and more! We noticed quite a few kids enjoying themselves on our sailing just as much as on other ships we've been on. Just depends on their age and what their interests are!
**Title:** Worst Cruise Experience Ever - Never Again with Royal Caribbean! I just got off Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas, and it was by far the worst cruise I've ever been on. I wouldn't have even booked another Royal Caribbean cruise after a previous bad experience, but our friends convinced us it would be amazing. It wasn't. If I could give negative stars, I would. The problems started right from the beginning. Our room was disgusting-not because of our cleaning guy, who did his best, but because the sofa futon my son had to sleep on was filthy, there was mold in the bathroom, and a constant sewage smell made it unbearable. To make matters worse, the room phone didn't work, and the TV only worked intermittently. The food options were appalling. You’re basically stuck with pizza (limited to 4 slices), hot dogs, pre-made sandwiches, or the buffet. The main dining room served the same food as the buffet, so there was no point in dressing up or wasting time there. The lines were insane, and if you didn’t purchase a drink package, good luck finding water or juice. Elevators were overcrowded and often malfunctioned. Entertainment was a joke. During sea days, there were fewer activities, and good luck trying to reserve a spot for the evening shows. Your options during the day were mostly sales pitches. Activities like the FlowRider were restricted unless you paid extra, and the pools were so packed that you couldn’t even get in. Customer service was awful-they told us the pools would be open until 10 PM, but by the time we skipped dinner to go, only one regular and one adult pool were open, and they were packed. Don’t even bother calling for help; after waiting an hour at customer service to fix our phone, none of the lines answered. I've been on great cruises before, but this was the last straw. I was ready to get off the ship before the cruise even began. I will never take the chance with Royal Caribbean again.
Love it sailing on the Allure in 92 days!
Wooo! It'll be here in no time. Have a fantastic cruise!

❤❤❤ thank you soooooo much for this as I am a ppl watcher. Lol
So many excellent places on this ship to relax and watch the crowds. Hope you enjoy if you find yourself sailing on the Allure anytime soon!
Sailing Sept 6th! I went two years ago and had no idea about parade!
You've got to check it out this time around! It's just so wild. Have a wonderful cruise!
Thanks!
Truly our pleasure! Hope it helps if you find yourself on the Allure of the Seas!
What do you recommend choosing room; which deck and which side(front/back/middle/left/right) more comfortable for stay?

Unfortunately, the Allure does not have any solo cabins. Harmony is the only Oasis class that does.
Taylor is funny 😂
Am going in 29 days
Wooo! So close! We hope you have the best time. There is SO much to do on board. Take it all in!
is this a good cruise for kids? I see there aren't any slides on this ship
