Thank you for the Dreamcatcher reaction. The dystopian trilogy consists of Scream (Part 1), Boca (Part 2), and Odd Eye (Part 3). Next time, ask for a Scream reaction.

It can be triggered by many situations or stimuli, including elevators, especially when crowded to capacity, windowless rooms, and hotel rooms with closed doors and sealed windows. Even bedrooms with a lock on the outside, small cars, and tight-necked clothing can induce a response in those with claustrophobia. It is typically classified as an anxiety disorder, which often results in panic attacks. The onset of claustrophobia has been attributed to many factors, including a reduction in the size of the amygdala & classical conditioning. Handong: Scopophobia | Scoptophobia, also known as scopophobia, is the fear of being stared at. It varies in severity from person to person. Some people are afraid only when a stranger stares for a long period of time, while others fear even passing eye contact with a friend. A person suffering from agliophobia may stay away from a particular situation if she believes that pain may occur. @Mirka T. I need to remember this comment if I want to look up the fears, thanks! I actually just 'discovered' Dreamcatcher on the day this video came out because a vocal coach I subscribed to reacted to the (underreacted to imo) Zombie Dance version of Boca and went deeep into the rabbit hole. I like how your biases are Gahyeon and Dami, because I couldn't decide at first which one of those two was mine, but after watching a fuck ton of content (like a lot, I like binged a lot of Insomnicsy) I realized someone would ask me to decide on one it now is, and probably always will be: Siyeon.
Thanks for checking out Dreamcatcher! They do have more of a metal/rock influence, but their B sides explore tons of different genres. Anywhere from R&B, reggae, trance, edm, and a lot more The two songs you checked out are part of the Dystopia Trilogy. Odd eye was the 3rd, Boca(mouth in Spanish) 2nd, and Scream is the 1st. It follows the saying: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. The songs are about bullying and hate speech, more specifically online. The masks are a reoccurring theme in each video the represent people who use the internet to remain anonymous while they spread their hate. I saw that you were noticed some of what they were talking about in the lyrics. There’s a line in Boca where Sua says that there are too many angles dying now. She’s referring to all those who have taken their own lives due to bullying. Some say that she’s talking specifically about the kpop idols who have committed suicide where online(and in person I’m sure) hate/criticism was the primary reason. So far from what I’ve seen, they only group to tackle such a sensitive topic. They also have another song, break the wall, that’s very relevant in regards to the protests that have been happening through the recent years(even though their self-made MV for it kind of distracts from the message since it’s super goofy) Definitely check out Scream to finish the Trilogy. Their latest comeback is BEcause. If you want some R&B from them check out b side Wonderland and And Then There Was No One Left or even reggae with July 7th
Scream is 100% my next song by them! I was in love with the amount of work that went into the videos you can def see the messages they’re sending across and it’s so beautiful to see. Beautifully presented too with all the aesthetics 😍the leather, snakeskin, jewels! All the futuristic vibes!
Glad you enjoyed them! Like I said on the Red Velvet video, Dreamcatcher is a pretty great group. Obviously, you noticed the two things that Dreamcatcher is known for: the darker concepts and rock influence. All of their title track songs have the rock influence in them at some point. Their main concepts are darker in the sense that they cover serious topics and/or that they're have some spooky stuff going on. The songs you watched today are actually part of a trilogy called Dystopia. It addresses harassment, (cyber)bullying, and technology affect on our ability to find happiness. Boca was obviously part 2 and Odd Eye is part 3. So, I guess the next reaction would need to be part 1, "Scream". Alternatively, you could react to their latest comeback song, "BEcause". All of their title tracks are story driven and they even have some series that continue across multiple title tracks (ex. Dystopia and Nightmare). The story for the other title tracks are separate from any other storylines. A lot of information has already been covered about them in other comments. I will mention that the girls representing a fear is only important during the Nightmare story line so that doesn't really have anything to do with the stuff you watched today. Also, even though all of their title tracks have rock elements, that isn't true for all of their B-side tracks. Their B-side tracks cover a lot of genres, actually. They still have some rock songs, but they also have jazz, edm, a raggae-ish song, ballads, and more. My personal opinion about them are that they are one of the most unique groups you'll find in K-pop. Their concept isn't a gimmick. It's who Dreamcatcher is. They're committed and I think that's one reason they pull it off so well. All of their vocals are really damn good. As you saw, even the rappers are vocalists (the deeper voiced rapper sang in Odd Eye for the bridge). This you definitely won't see through the music videos as well since they're so story driven, but they have some of the tightest, most efficient choreography I've seen in K-pop thus far. I say that confidently. If you ever see dance practices, they are super clean. They (5 of 7 in particular) have been through some serious BS and I don't mean "they trained hard" BS. Like, they've been through some actual rough stuff. Because of that they have an incredibly strong bond to one another and it's a beautiful to see. As you might end up noticing, fans of Dreamcatcher love them to death and are very excited about sharing that experience with new people. The more you learn about Dreamcatcher, the more you'll understand why. Dreamcatcher deserves way more than they currently have and the fans do as much as they can to help make that happen. Suggestions for next video: Scream, BEcause, or Deja Vu. Probably go with Scream to finish the Dystopia trilogy. Deja Vu is one of my favorites. As always, thanks for the reactions! Happy New Year! Edit: Trying to decide on a bias and sticking to that one bias is nearly impossible with Dreamcatcher. Not even joking. I'm fairly confident that most of the fandom is either "everyone's a bias" or undecided. lol
I am so surprised I got 2/3 of the trilogy but scream is definitely my next song by them! I already know it’s gonna be a banger!😆 what you said about biases is so true, a bunch of people comment their favourites and then each other member is “bias wrecker” haha technically meaning we just love them all it’s hard to choose!😍
Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Odd Eye is part 3 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. People can get lost in the world of the Internet and social media and their online personas can take over their life. Dreamcatcher want us to use our odd eye to see through the lies (on Facebook and others) and don't be fooled by the "lies masked in sweetness". And the song is a banger! Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy. Boca has the lines "Why do you fill your precious time with hate" and "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects malicious comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome! Who said you can't have three different musical genres in one song? "Scream" is part 1 of the trilogy, and I recommend reacting to it as well!
Ahhh I love that you said that, shut their boca!😂you’re right, the fact that they’re including such an important message in their music is something we need more of!!❤️ especially that you mentioned the fake online world. Scream is def next! I had no idea I did 2/3😆
Yeay Dreamcatcher 🤟🏻🤟🏻 I’m skipping all the recommendations cause looks like the rest of InSomnia had it covered below. If you want to hear more vocals, just check out their bsides like suggestions below. Each member can truly sings, and I’d say they’re the most vocally talented group alongside Mamamoo

I hope I didn’t count the amount of girls in the end wrong 😆 good to know there’s 7 members! Also I find it so crazy how the fandom knows all their fears haha! You guys are all real ones!
Dreamcatcher ODD EYE meaning: The MV is about how the media (represented by the TV, phone, & computer) is showing us fake comfort (represented by a mask chair). It tells us how a new world of hope but is an altered reality of despair. Media shows us a lot of good things in life that makes us believe that there is a Utopia and this gives us hope. Even when we open our eyes, we see it as something good. According to the lyrics, it is a sorrow covered by light. It is a perfect illusion covering reality. They sing about using our Odd Eye, a secretly hidden eye that sees beyond illusion. Because with how sophisticated this world is right now, anything can be deceiving. A smile can be a plausible lie overshadowed by sweetness. Even hope itself may may lead us to despair in the end. We see Yoohyeon drink the cup of what she thought was wine but was actually poision. We see Gahyeon reach into the computer but ended up in flames. They give us fake hope but get hurt in the end when faced with the brutal reality of this cruel world. We are literally hurting ourselves like how Handong has her neck in her own hands. Let go of the remote (Siyeon) and stop looking for this fake Utopia (Jiu running away from the tree). In the last chorus it tells us to close our eyes. So that we can't be fooled by the world's fake light. So that at least we choose to be in darkness than to chase something that doesn't exist. Jiu has her eyes blindfolded with a bouquet in her hands for us to realize this. A Utopia is not something we must search for but is something we must make ourselves. ________________________ The song is explaining that DC (Dreamcatcher) can’t find a utopia because it doesn’t exist anymore and how the odd eye(reality) helps them realize this. DC were lying to themselves with false hope in the boca Mv. They had hopes of stopping people from saying negative things but it’s not possible. Most of the lyrics are just repeating the same concept. They tricked themselves with hope/light/lies/sweetness/ideal dreams but after a while they realize that this fate can’t be changed. They are forced into reality and there is no more utopia.
music with a meaning 👌🏽 so on point!! Ugh I know I say on point a lot but the amount of work that goes into these music videos are insane. You can definitely see a bunch of messages. I’m surprised I noticed the mask chair, and I like your explanation about it! Thanks so much for all the helpful comments!!🥰
I thought Yoohyeon's scene with masked chair kinda differently. The Tv in the room is the media, which is the fake reality. When she drinks the red liquid, the next scene right after drinking it is Yoohyeon having an odd eye. So i think the liquid is a drink to find the truth, like the red pill in Materix.

DREAMCATCHER BOCA: In the MV there are two sides of each member. A good side and a bad side. I think the good side is taking place in the past before the dystopia began and the girls were good and protecting the tree. It shows how the world and the girls were before. And the bad sides of them are taking place in the present. Also I recognized all bad happenings are shown with the color red. The tree that was hurt. The girls who become evil. The tapes of the statues and the room where Sua stands. In the beginning a person behind a mask can be seen holding a phone in his hands. The mask represents the anonomity and the phone cybermobbing. The person represents people in society who want to hurt you by words. So each member is attacked by these evil words and this can be seen in many scenes. Dami who is offended by the creatures while she is standing on a podest. Though all are reaching out for her she can not be hurt. As well in the scene where hands behind her try to hurt her but can't as a material is between them.Siyeon stands in the center of sculptures facing her trying to offend her with words. But just like Dami Siyeon can't be attacked since red tapes are covering their mouths.Yoohyeon is placed in between many raindrops who seem to have stopped falling down. Raindrops actually stand for the victims of hate. Also she is shooting herself in the place with the raindrops with a crossbow from the place where she is already bad. Representing the fact that the evil language of the Dystopia is able to change people to the point that they can hurt themselves as a consequence of hate.As Yoohyeon, Dami and Siyeon, Gahyeon also tries to defeat the hate by covering her ears and closing her eyes to ignore and shut out the evil.Jiu walks by the masked person avoiding to get hurt. Sua stands in a red room. As I already mentioned red stands for evilness. The walls of the room are covered with bad and evil words. And the room doesn't seem stable. Sua herself looks confused and lost. But as the other girls she finds a way to defeat the hate: by finding and opening a door.So in conclusion: could the girls defeat the evil? We don't know. Since we see Gahyeon crying it could end bad. And the tree is still sick. The evilness is still spreading. But we don't know yet. Because like Scream it's an open ending. And just as in the Scream MV we see a mask lying on the floor covered with evil words. The tree of the three of language thats what they call it, Scream, Boca, Odd Eye so the Era of the Utopia ends (Symbolic of hear no evil (Scream) , speak no evil (Boca) , see no evil (Odd Eye) This tree determines the whole world. As Jiu mentioned in an interview: the tree wears good fruits when people say good things and wears bad fruits when people say bad things. And as we can tell by the phrase: the world now is evil. I guess Gahyeon caused this since she touched the crystal in Scream which probably is the heart of the tree and then the tree who might keeps the balance in this world disrupted it. Also she wears the mask which can be seen in Boca too. It represents the fact of the evil one hiding and due to that she can't be identified as the one who caused this. Also everyone points at her in one scene showing she is the cause of the dystopia. All people living in this world are becoming evil. It's the beginning of a dystopia.
I love your comment! You can definitely see both sides with the dark/angelic “fairy” side. It’s crazy that a simple music video depicts so much, goes to show how much thought was put into it. Especially the futuristic vibe, it is “the beginning of dystopia”. Chills!😁 hahaha

"Scream" is part 1 of the trilogy, and I recommend reacting to it as well!
happy new year ;)
Ahhh I love that you said that, shut their boca!😂you’re right, the fact that they’re including such an important message in their music is something we need more of!!❤️ especially that you mentioned the fake online world. Scream is def next! I had no idea I did 2/3😆
Yeay Dreamcatcher 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I’m skipping all the recommendations cause looks like the rest of InSomnia had it covered below.
If you want to hear more vocals, just check out their bsides like suggestions below. Each member can truly sings, and I’d say they’re the most vocally talented group alongside Mamamoo

Dreamcatcher ODD EYE meaning:
The MV is about how the media (represented by the TV, phone, & computer) is showing us fake comfort (represented by a mask chair).
________________________
The song is explaining that DC (Dreamcatcher) can’t find a utopia because it doesn’t exist anymore and how the odd eye(reality) helps them realize this.
I see Dreamcatcher, I click and subscribe.
Thanks for reacting my girls
haha they're literally the best. I got black and white + red sun coming soon. can't wait because I LOVE dream catcher too!
Boca is spanish and means mouth. (I don't speak spanish, i just know, because of google and other fans.)

DREAMCATCHER BOCA:
In the MV there are two sides of each member.
The tree of the three of language thats what they call it, Scream, Boca, Odd Eye so the Era of the Utopia ends (Symbolic of hear no evil (Scream) , speak no evil (Boca) , see no evil (Odd Eye)
This tree determines the whole world.
Vocal?... Siyeon, the main vocal, being one of the top main vocal of kpop.
Gonna be checking that out soon! I gotta hear this!
