Sir, Laafi is known as laapsi in Rajasthan and Maharashtra Best to enjoy laafi is with vegetables ( specially dry sabzi ke Saath ) Sugar in Laafi can also be replace with jaggery

Its been ages since I tasted baari which we prefer to make with gur. Some delicacies r now lost recipes but rest we make n enjoy with loads of ghee ....... we love to have ghee with almost everything. Thanks for showing everyone the true himachali traditional cusine n not just a few tourist Dhabas.
