Ok so i have got some things to say: 1st Flora looks glorious with Enchantix, personally she and Stella slayed the most and got the best glow up. 2nd I still can't belive they put more effort in creating and designing the sage of lymphea who was present for like only 2 min than the entirely of season 5-8. 3rd Actually thank god for the trix being active and making things worse for the winx bc they were the reason why Musa, Flora and Bloom got their Enchantix😂❤.
Also it's been a year since we started the season 5 commentary🤯, time is a lie.
Seeing how easily Musa got it and how Bloom kinda forced it out, I think they would've earned it regardness.
I disagree with your comment about the design of season 5-8 okay the writting is bad and the transformation became lazy from this season but the background of season 5 to 8 had some gorgeous things too! The mini worlds from season 7 were visually very cool and we got a lot of beautiful ocean design in 2d in season 5!
Also all the Enchantix designs were glow up but especially Tecna 🌐⚡🔌
Oh no i wasnt talking about the design bc the backgrounds of season 5-8 were pretty good im saying about the overall quality of the show in the writing section, characters development, transformation llogic, but even some of the characters especially in season 8. But more in the writing and the characters.

I was OBSESSED with Tears of the Black Willow as a kid. I rewatched it nonstop. Not only was Flora a tragic badass, but I thought the witches getting deaged was THE funniest thing I'd ever seen. The whole episode is iconic imo
I love our nature fairy and Bloom threatening to spank the grid or put them into time out was the fun jest thing ever!

The willow shedding her last tear in the hopes of at least saving Flora and Miele from sharing similar fates to her willow sister makes me sob, and the fact that Flora used her fairy dust to heal the willow is a lovely act of reciprocation. 💕
Me and my friend used to always headcanon Valtor as extremely asexual, he sure knew how to use his charms to manipulate Trix, but never seemed interested in anything else. We loved the detail of him always keeping even his gloves on and only taking them off to interact with magic and spells.
You know, I always thought to myself that Flora actually died before she earned Enchantix. The Black Willow’s tear reversed time, and she transformed. That obviously isn’t what happened, but it’s interesting to think about

You're exactly right. It was the tear of the black willow. However, I guess 4kids edited out to have it where the Enchantix revived her instead of the willow's tear reversing time on her.

The writers are like:
*We don't really care for Flora's and Tecna's development but we should make atleast 1 episode for them so it looks like we care*
Be frr now The comic creator loves Flora very much she is his favorite and she is always on the covers also she has a lot of screen time

Well they are both introverted but yeah I do love these characters

If there is one thing I love about enchantix is how it actually changes the girls without being overdesigned.
It strikes the balance of being neither "You wasted 10% of the episode for a wardrobe change?" And "This was made with toys in mind"

Flora's Enchantix looks absolutely spectacular! Now that is the Fairy of Nature one time!

Flora's enchantix was (and still is) my absolute favorite out of all of them! I remember wanting to dress up like her as a kid but my mom and sister said it would've been inappriopriate:/
I'm lowkey sad how you didn't mention that the Flora's spell "Nature Symphony" sounds so majestic yet disturbing in the Rai Dub. Nonetheless it's definitely her best and strongest spell in Magic Winx form.
I was expecting that too, 4kids dub is superior, but god, Nature's Shymphony in the Cinelume dub is so beautiful to listen to.
(Also, Nature's Symphony made me wish Flora also had wind spells)
As much as I like the Nick dub, I hate that they called it “Nature’s Speech.”
Fun fact: I just learned this but apparently the creative director of the Nick Era of Winx Club was the creator of the Backyardigains...to say that it all made sense to me after learning this was an understatement.

@@ShinoriDelfrimbackyardigans was a good show and all but heres the thing….its a show written for a preschool audience, with very juvenile writing to match. Winx Club was meant for tweens and young teens (so between like 8-13). By having someone used to directing preschool shows handle a show meant for an older audience, the writing becomes juvenile and the original point gets lost. Cause believe it or not, you can’t take an iconic show for tweens and teens, dumb it down into a preschool show’s quality, and expect people to respond positively to it, especially if the majority of those people had grown up with the original seasons as they were coming out.

@@FeligamiAdrizoeSworaBunnydoll don't get me wrong I loved backyardigans as a kid. However, it explains how juvenile the plot became in later seasons. As the creative director was used to making Pre-K shows. Which is a much younger demographic than the the original age demographic Rainbow were targeting when they had released the series back in 2004.
First off: I was excited for this. Flora’s a queen.
Secondly: it’s honestly a shame Lynphea wasn’t explored more. My biases towards loving nature just like Flora aside, I do think it’s the most peaceful place to be in.
Thirdly: it’s still bonkers how she drowned saving her sister. Like I know Enchantix is earned by sacrificing yourself to save your loved ones or people close to you, but correct me if I’m wrong, is Flora the only one to actually die to earn it?
Correction:To earn enchantix you have to sacrifice yourself by saving someone from your planet, not just your family or loved ones or people who are close to you
Like Musa who saved Galatea, the princess of her homeworld or Tecna saving technically the entire magical universe(no pun intended😂)
Musas enchantix was hella robbed, its so incredibly GLORIOUS!!!
Musa’s Enchantix still gets shafted, the Mattel dolls of her didn’t sell that well and now she’s super rare
Fun fact: in the Dutch dub of episode 12, Bloom actually threatened to revert the Trix even more instead of spanking them and it was just as funny

it seems that 4kids changed flora's enchantix from miele crying over flora reminding the willow of its own loss and it reversing darcy's spell then flora saving it to flora reversing both the spell and the 'death' of the willow with her fairy dust.
I still cannot get over the fact how dirty they did Mirta in here… So she has a Fairy transformation and fights along the other Alfea students against the brainwashed witches in the previous episode, but here she is made into such a weakling, depending on the mercy of the other Winx… I wish she could transfer and put up a fight…

Lot of questions with these episodes... So Flora can create a bubble for Miele to breath while reaching the surface but not creating one for herself, at least to be able to breath? And Aisha, fairy of fluids, supposed to be able to manipulate water, can't rescue her? That's on the same level as Bloom being trapped in ice. Also it's sad that it's that dub you don't have the sound of Flora's Nature symphony spell, I'm not usually fond of her magic but that one was damn majestic, way closer to what a fairy of nature should do instead of just focusing on flowers.

To be fair, it's a spell of unknown origin merely lent to her and the Storm Harpies are considerably weaker. Legendarium creatures were almost impervious to anything besides their overly specific weakness while the Storm Harpies got taken out by regular base transformation attacks. The idea behind them was great, but they suffered from poor execution.
I think the reason why Musa *really useless when fighting in the cave. Because sound will be bounce back and ruined the cave, throwback to season 2 ep 3
In retrospect, that does make sense, but that should have been addressed in the episode itself

I think that my favourite seasons are 1-3 solely because of how much the show focuses on all the girls. Even though all the seasons main plots are about Bloom (discovering she’s a fairy and the dragon flame, Darkar’s whole getting Bloom to help him get ultimate power, and Valtor’s whole connection to Bloom) each girl got there time to shine especially in Season 2 and Season 3 which is why the seasons are so brilliant.
Also I really feel like it’s a missed opportunity for Flora and Musa to bond from the whole nature sounding like music. Also I’m constantly impressed with Season 3 solely cause like it’s so detailed and so amazing. Also the Trix being anti LGBTQ+ is so real. Valtor is gay but also low key like Homophobic and the Winx are LGBTQ+ icons and supporters
Also love that everyone in the magical dimensions are just messy bitches
I'm sorry but as an Italian who grew up watching Winx episodes on a constant loop (especially season 3), the music for the enchantix transformation just takes me out of the mood. I miss the original Italian song, that made every single moment epic! I felt it especially in episode 12 because this is my favorite episode and I've been a Flora stan since day one!
@@Flyboy1953 yeah the bells make it sound more whimsical and legendary, while the original song make the scene more uplifting and powerful. I guess I prefer the original beause when the Winx transform they are about to fight someone so a powerful song sets the right mood for a battle more than a whimsical tune.
That's why I loved the first four seasons so much!They brought so much content in only 22 minutes and left the viewers to want more.Compared to what we are dealing now in these episodes,what we were dealing with in season 6?Just some weird vampire shit-

I prefer Flora's younger sister Miele's name from Nickelodeon than Rose from 4Kids because it suit her. I'm still curious that Miele appear in Season 3 as a eight year old but how did manage to grow up and become a teenager like Flora as well as almost the same height in Season 6? But I still like Miele's design from Season 6 because she looks a lot better than her eight year old version.
Miele was her original name, I never understood why 4kids changed it to Rose. And the reason why she's a teen in S6 is due to plot convenience. And for Flora to earn her Bloomix.

One thing I never understood: why the Winx went to Cloudtower? If they had stayed with the pixies, they would’ve still found Faragonda in the tree. I know we get the fights in Cloudtower, but I don’t think it was necessary.

She risked her life to save her little sister from the poisoned 🧪☠️☢️ River 🌊. I LOVE 💖 everything about Flora’s enchantix; the elongated flowing brunette hair and the cute little space buns, the flowing pink flower petal inspired dress 👗 and the cute tiara 👸🏽. Last but not least the wings are 🌸🦋DIVINE 🦋🌸

When Stormy ⛈ used a spell to create Storm Undines... Selena and the legendarium can never compete with that. Also the Trix poisoning the river.... What’s the point of Tritannus going back and forth for pollution pudding and Dark Sirenix. And when you said about the water 💧 spilling on Stella’s head (if it actually happened in the series) OMG I am immediately thinking back to baby Stella in season 5. Also does Lymphea’s Sage remind you of that weird tree 🌳 lady from season 5 🤔💭💬💭💭❔❓❓❓

To me the best sacrifice was Flora’s. Followed by Tecna’s. Stella’s sacrifice is overrated to me.

I noticed something in the Linphea episode thay I didn't see before. An animation mistake with Flora's character model switching between her regular clothes and her Winx clothes.
Musa is my fav but flora is a literal icon just like techna. Both of them are extremely underrated

Imagine if Valtor and the Trix made Linphea their base, with Icy freezing it and killing the planet, and it was up to Flora to save it, earning her Enchantix. Perhaps have "Snow Queen" story arc with Flora having to save Miele from becoming frozen.
Yeah that'd be good but the drowning for her sister hits so much harder and that would take up at least 2 episodes

I know I’m gonna be burned alive but I actually loved the original music in the black willow. It’s not intense but a melancholic ost and I almost cried as a kid to Flora’s sacrifice.

I always assumed that when Flora was dying the Enchantix wasn’t able to save her and the tree’s water did the job. Also I just assumed the reason the Trix are sisters is one a coven thing and two because they are each related to one of the three ancestral witches since in some much of the canon it implies as such

Flora does matter I love her and the episode when she gets her Enchantix and I love her place and her sister and the ladybugs. Her Enchantix transformation is beautiful and pretty. I love her outfit it's pink and it sparkles and the trix were funny when they fight. Also Happy belayed Thanksgiving I celebrate Thanksgiving and had a great big dinner with my family well with just two family members my mom and my brother. But my dad didn't show up but I had a good Thanksgiving anyway I watched the Macy's parade, watched My little pony g5 and listened to Christmas music.
Funny you should mention 4kids promotion of Winx Club, if you pay attention to when 4kids would promote their shows, it's not some mystery voice I usually expect. It's their actual characters and voice actors. Realising that made me think "If a VA at 4kids is willing to do a promotion of their own shows, they must really love working for them".
