First of all, J Lo had nothing to do with Selena sacrifice. If you believe theories, then you would know that Selena‘s sacrifice had to be a blood sacrifice and they’re nowhere even related because they’re levels. Her father Selena’s dad was the main person that did it mostly because Selena was slowly getting out of his control. Salma Hayek was originally going to play Selena. Plus, J Lo singing career with started with Diddy and Mariah Carey’s ex-husband which was years after Selena’s death it would’ve made no sense.
J Lo would’ve had to be singing or become friends with Selena to be able to pull off a hit. You can’t just sacrifice any random person if that’s the case the industry would be having new celebrities every damn month
