About FAR Lone Sails:

I feel like the water didn't all disappear at once, but gradually so the people who built these structures kept on following the water so they could be closer to it.

15:57 = Not Buffalo. These are Musk Oxen - having seen them in Scandinavia & arctic region Siberia, they can endure hellish cold and eat yellow scrub grass to survive. Famous (like yaks) for surrounding young against wolf packs, they are strong & massive in size, led by an alpha male with rogue younger males at the fringes. End of the world - where there's grass, there's hope.

Silver Warrior how would it help the sails? The steam might not even be strong enough to move the sails
and then continues to do the exact same thing instead of trying something new.
When you release the steam, wait for it to glow red, then do it. It gives you a speed boost
Lord Daret gives you a speed boost as long as its above half full
when you take a welder or a water pipe, you do not have to run back to put them down. Press E and everything will be in order.This also applies to ropes

The dams last the longest
The nuclear powerplants last the least
And the wind turbines will last as long as they have lubricant
History Channel had a whole series on this subject called Life After People. It was a pretty good series, lasted like 3 seasons (maybe 4?)
Dams would last, their *turbines* are another matter. those things are complex bits of machinery and will fail a *long* time before the main structure of the dam does.
Coal & Natgas shut down first, then nuclear, then wind, then solar, then hydro. Not sure on Geotherm. Solar can come back if the panels are wind-cleaned and get sunlight again. The reason coal & natgas goes first is b/c they need constant refilling, but nuclear only shuts down when it begins to run out of cooling water, at which point modern plants enter an inactive state to prevent meltdown. Wind eventually wears down the gears, hydro rusts & wears down. Solar wears down *very* slowly, but gets buried fairly quickly in most areas.
A dam like Hoover Dam will remain for around 500 years before the physical dam is destroyed due to the rebar within (steel/iron reinforcing bars that rust, expand, and break the concrete). The dam will only produce energy for about a decade, maybe less, due to an invasive species of clam that will clog up intake pipes.
Pyramids, Rushmore, Aztec Temples, Moai Heads, and Stonehenge will endure long enough to either be buried by sand/dirt/ext or for several million years. Little bits & pieces of our earth-stuff will remain as fossil evidence that we were here for millions, even billions of years. The stuff we threw into space (Lunar Lander, for example) will remain until the sun consumes the orbit of the earth. The Voyager Probes may well last until the Great Rip ends our entire universe, though if they hit something before then that's it.
Isn't our legacy fascinating?

3:03 the steam may be scalding hot but the sails have just proved their durability by withstanding a lightning strike.
GG. When you press the steam, you get a burst of speed.
The banner on the top (near where you placed the light) indicts the wind direction and speed. The sail does not work if the banner is limp or it is not blowing in the direction you want to travel.
Those "buffaloes" look like muskox to me.

tip :
1. let the steam get to *RED* then releases it. (it'll act like a boost)
2. the water hose and wielder (The fire thingy) consumes energy
3. The water hose and wielder glow red if they are needed
4. be sure to keep the energy up... you'll need them later...

8. just charge into almost anything. (there will be a good chance that the gate/obstacle will break)

Did you say that the ocean went into the lakes and rivers? I mean, technically yes but the way you said it is like the oceans feed the lakes/rivers. So the way it works is that when water evaporates leaving behind the salt, it goes into the sky and is recycled into rain/snow/ice. This comes back down to Earth where it then travels via the lakes/rivers to the Ocean and feeds back into it. This then starts all over. If salt water touches fresh, the fresh is forced to the top until it begins to mix. When a river goes into an ocean, the salt is below the fresh along the river for a bit and then eventually only fresh is along the rest of the river. So if say the ocean were to ever rise or flood places, it's actually going to eventually lead to fresh water becoming undrinkable. Sure, there would be rain that will be fresh but it will only fall into salt water and get messed up.

Old coast indicates that when the settlement was built it was on or near a "new coast" meaning that the water kept receding.
If u let the steam bar get to max then release it the steam will give you a boost. Ant the barrel with the flame on it acts as a overdrive if you put in the energy. Also I’ve watched a stream of this game and it took about 3 hours

to answer your question: Large dams like Hoover and Three Gorges will be the last power stations producing. They are fully automated however they will not last forever. After a while, growths such as barnacles will clog up the piping and they will shut down as well. It is possible one of the last cities to go dark will actually be Vegas.

if you were in the ocean, and it had dried, then there would be massive salt flats covering most of the planet, but grass and other plants cant grow in salty soil...

This game is a roller coaster of emotions I love this game I've beaten it 3 times now and ill play it a ton more and the hidden story behind everything is amazing cant wait to see what you think when u beat this game IGP and also I was reading a article / forum online stating that you are a little girl in the game so just keep that in mind when u try to figure out this story anyways keep it up and hope the next video comes sooner this time. Love your vids IGP keep it up.

IGP tell me in your mind why was it a good idea to leave the explosive barrels? You come to the epiphany that everything can be converted into energy but somehow you come to the conclusion that those are just bad so leave them...? THEY AREN'T BAD. You can totally convert them without your ship exploding, yes it sparks but it can be repaired... Why do you think they gave you the repair attachment dumby?! There's usually only one at a time so just run it in, also you missed out on a pretty easy achievement now too. You got to catch on to stuff more dude...
The little pilot is a young girl and the person at the very beginning was a loved one. Oh and also there were signs at the beginning of the game that said New Coast, and other signs that pointed back saying Old Coast. So what it seems like to me is that the water was slowly withdrawing further and further while people tried building closer to the water again.
tip: IGP the red explosive are full fuels actually but they dmg ur ship so u can use them but in a safer space to repair afterward
while driving steam works as a speed booster so let it stack up and hit it multiple for much speed
and at last, a hint , dont give up when u get close to end, use ur brain there

yea, not to spoil or anything, but its a pretty short game he will finish it in the next one
the way I think the story goes is little by little the ocean dried up so the civilization moved up to stay at the coast that's why there where so many coast and harbor sighs as well as normal buildings after that and as the oceans dried up the stuff that was once close to the water grew to be very far away and the people left leaving the place(s) in disrepair

The water from lakes flows into rivers which flows into the ocean not the other way around haha. The water evaporates from the ocean and rains into lakes and rivers

when the steam gets about half way then hit it gives abit of a boost also the barrels with the flames on them your correct for not picking them up they explode your engine, can't really say anymore since I stopped alittle past where you did hope this helps :)
