About FAR Lone Sails:
Traverse a dried-out seabed littered with the remains of a decaying civilization. Keep your unique vessel going, overcome numerous obstacles and withstand the hazardous weather conditions. How far can you make it? What will you find?

The reason everything got damaged during the storm was because it was hailing and you needed to use the big metal roof things as shelter

What a lovely game. A portable home of survival and fatherly memories. I would play a version of this created like Journey and having a few friends as survivors picking them up along the way and solving puzzles of such mechanics till we all together reach the sea.

Story wise.
I am going to assume that most people in the society had ships/vehicles like that.
I am going to also assume the character had access to such a vehicle but it was heavily damaged needing repairs so your Character headed out to get Materials and blueprints to fix it. (They are blueprints at the starting point)
That basically should explain all the little stations that just seem to be perfect for you (This all happend before you the Player spawns in) . Also explaining all the power sources, upgrades etc!
please keep continuing this series it's just fun to watch for some reason
You should attach the lantern to one of the two hooks in the front entrance so you have less extra light , but you wouldn’t have to risk it.
The fact that video-games often blow up barrels with flammables, doesn't mean that the flame-icon represents an explosion IGP. :)
A nice little detail that you missed is that your left wheel (which had been invisible the whole time) had a gap in it. Good thing it got replaced.
Also, your new wheels have a tube around them, so when you thought you were going to sink, that's when you were actually floating on what was probably the very last water.
A bit further when the hail/rain shower broke lose and your ship started to take damage, it was kind of funny that you didn't connect the two. I guess that's why you kept driving through the roof structures (or 'canapes' as you called them), instead of taking shelter there. :)
You assumed that all that you encountered was built only for you and your ship, which you thought was confusing and strange. And indeed, it would make a lot more sense assuming that everything was built because ships like that used to be normal and that your character's size is also normal. Hence everything fits and your character is able to operate all machines. So, yes, you're now using the old upgrade and repair stations, gates and lifts that were specifically built for that mode of transportation. Not just for you, but probably an entire industry. :)

GG. It's an atmospheric game. You play it for the atmosphere. Don't question it; just enjoy it. :)
The simple answer as to why everything's made for your ship is: That ship is or was at some point common enough to justify it, and people were not much taller than you. Not that complicated dude!

I think that the upgrade didn’t only change the wheels for another set, (possibly from a more advanced model of vessel than the one you use in-game)
I think it also did change the energy container for a more efficient one (also probably from another more advanced model) because I think that the new,more decorated one lasts a bit longer than the original container.

This has been one of the most beautiful, serene and relaxing games I've seen in a really long time. I've enjoyed every moment of this so far.
You were supposed to hide under those shelters to repair your ship damaged by the storm and not run through it until everything is broken xD

I'm sorry, but fun is not normally the word that comes to mind when describing the apocalypse lmao. I know what you meant though. This game does have a very melancholy feel to it.

To answer your question at 14:20 of this video, in the previous episode at, 21:03 on the far right of the screen you can see a tractor-like vehicle with similar wheels to your vehicles original wheels, suggesting vehicles like yours were quite common during the civilization period after the ocean dried up. You can only see it for a split second here and there due to how you cut the recording in editing. Cheers!

The part where you get to the city and the radio gets all creepy scared the shit out of me and gave me chills and for the rest of that moment I made it a point to get out of there as fast as humanely possible

I'm assuming since all this infrastructure was built after the sea disappeared that perhaps the land ship you have was fairly common and that's why everything you come across seems to be built for it.

what do you mean with 'your ship' did you not see the signs. that 'type of ship' seem to be the primary way of transportation for the people of that world. and even you see cars and trucks. it would suggest that does ships seams to just be for the dry sea bed. as cars seam to not get far. PS that big fursion that you see around 18:19 in the background seems to me like a luxury type cruiser. so there are upgrades, large luxurious types, as well as a bunch of advertisement, for the same ship type. for what you seem to just have. like you have the only one. it is not like there are so many others in the background. all broken down, abandoned, or just there

In most video games yes red with a flame would indicate explosives, but in this case it means flamible, as in fuel, which can of course cause a fire if not handled properly

That storm is a hailstorm, it rains down heavy ice balls that damages your ship. And there are roofs or ship remenants that you can hide under but you just forcefully go through the storm and everything damaged.
You're asking to much questions IGP. You should watch out... You could find... Things that you don't want to find.
