Could we just correct the “ecosystem” argument here and clarify that Samsung does have an ecosystem. It has the phone, watch, headphones, tablet, and laptop. Not only that, it has its own “find my” network to find your devices. If you wanted to move your music listening from one device to another, you can. If you wanted to pick up that call on your laptop, you can. If you wanted to read your messages on your tablet or laptop, you can. The ONE thing Samsung does not have is something equivalent to AppleTV+. That’s it. So, if I wanted to go “all-in” the ecosystem for Samsung, I could.
The only reason I can't go all in on the Samsung Ecosystem is because of the galaxy books. They're just not as good as Macbooks. Otherwise I prefer the buds, galaxy, and watch.
Picked up a iPhone 15 Pro Max in January and it’s a decent phone to replace/upgrade my iPhone 11. I thought about buying a Pixel 8 Pro since I had a Pixel 4a 3 years ago. I haven’t had/owned a Samsung since the Galaxy S3 because of TouchWiz but I have used plenty of Galaxy phones throughout the years and I’m slowly starting to come back around to liking Samsung again even though I’m not a fan of OneUI. Both phones are great! Don’t listen to Apple or Samsung fanboys about who is better and who isn’t, go based on what you want and even do some exploration.
Exactly... Of course different people likes different things. Just let them be and just be you. Pick which one that makes you happy regardless of what other people say. I personally prefer Samsung and android phones but I don't go around telling people that android is better.

If you consider eco systems then consider how Apple's walled garden is closed and limits you to their own gadgets only, while Samsung, Google and Microsoft create interoperable shared ecosystem that lets you use whatever windows laptop you want, any tablet you find good enough for you, any earbuds and any PC you want to build. Except for Apple devices that can work only with each other.
Yeah, but we gotta admit that "Apple Ecosystem" is well more seamless though. I'm Android user and prefer the more opened ecosystem any days but gotta admit.
Samsung lock down significant features forcing you to use Samsung devices. From watch features to features on their phone and tablets. I use a Samsung tablet with my pixel 8 pro and the tablet is really no more compatible with my pixel than an iPad would be.
If you are talking about ecosystem then i have to say the s24 works great with galaxy watch, laptop, lablet, earbuds, telivision, airconditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, etc. It also works great with tanks, fighter jets and warships 👍 *This is only for fun*
I've had an iPhone since the 4 model and just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S24+. I can honestly say I will never change back to iPhone. Apple makes their products work great together, but with just a few years' time, the product is already left behind and feels obsolete. Android has a lot more versatility, and I feel it was more worth my money.
@@Masterstrange56Buy the samsung S24 series, it's the better choice, Apple is a monopoly company, that's why USA is suing Apple, Apple forces you to buy they newer phones that's why they wanna make there old phones slow and lag
It's almost like these types of hardware comparison videos are now irrelevant, you can't go wrong with either one. Now it should be about the ecosystem and what Os you're most comfortable and familiar with.
Exactly the people arguing in the comments are the simple minded people. I've recently went back to Samsung my wife stayed with iphone. We have no issue with anything.
I have really enjoyed the past two months with the S24 Ultra, but the Ultra series is always a premium experience that's hard to compare against other Android devices. I have yet to spend time with the iPhone 15 Pro Max though, I'd love to do my own side by side some day.
I have both, prefer the s24 ultra. I could less about imessage, the ecosystem, or any other lock in features Apple tries to deploy. Way too many features on the S24 Ultra that I use daily that are lacking on the iPhone for me to use as a longterm daily. I do prefer the Macbook over Windows laptops though. It doesn't have to be either or, I use products from both sides on the daily.
Same. Macbook air have like no substitute in windows. I tried them all. Samsungs ultra same. I tried the plus model but it felt small. and s pen is handy
0:57 *Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices. Different terms may apply for AI features provided by third parties.
I have most of an apple ecosystem but I decided to switch to the s24 ultra. Will probably get the watch 6, buds pro 2, and a pair of Bose headphones to accommodate the switch but I'll still be sticking with my MacBook and iPad as i prefer those two over other laptops and tablets.
A lot of the things that you mentioned on the video about the iphone advantages, are things that the S24 Ultra also have. You only need to configure it in settings 😁🥰
As a lifelong samsung user, I have to say I always liked samsung more, with all the possibilities with apks and apps and customization, I was even more for samsung when the notes came out with a pen, because I liked drwaing a lot and could put hours into it, also the designs and screens looked like the best. Iphone only looked smoother sometimes but never was a fan. I switched to Iphone 2 years ago because of my extra need for better batterylife, which seemed alot better on iphone until like 1 or 2 generations ago. I got an Iphone 14 base model, and still had a s23 base model at home. 1 very big point I noticed very easily is that the speakers on the iphone was better than the speaker of s23 by a mile, I could clearly hear sound seperation and a lot of bass, on the s23 it sounds really bad, this is because samsung compresses everything to 384khz or something. I bought s24 ultra 2 weeks ago after being told by a worker that the s24 series have better sound than s23 and that they ‘fixed’ the sound. Dont get me wrong the sound it really good still, but comparing to the base iphone 14 I have its still not on par and bass is basically non-existant, with pain in my heart I returned the phone and got the iphone, I dont like the software or the way it looks but the screen and sound is one of the best, s24 uktra looks the best, hast the best screen, but sound is lacking, and I cant draw on Iphone. So what you can take from my experience, if you watch a lot of movies and want the best sound possible: iphone, if you want a little less better sound but a better screen: samsung
@@mikechivy No, they are saying that you don't have a history of all things you copied to paste at any time. On android, you can copy multiple things and paste which one you want at any time. The iPhone can only copy and paste single items.
Apple can probably add AI with an update. Worst thing about Samsung phones is the awful rollout date updates. Unlike Apple where you get updates to ALL devices 7 years back, Samsung send updates by Mobile Carrier then by model number, horrible. Plus Apple lets consumers into their Beta programs, Samsung does not. Apple's handoff from phones to MAC including sound (MAC speakers or AirPods) is a great feature. The Ecosystem is king on Apple due to them making their own computers.
Nonsense. iPhone sucks, people buy it as some sort of perceived coolness. Had an iPhone 15 pro since it came out. Owned Samsungs from S10-S22 ultra. Android is just a better system and Samsung work directly with google. I’m paying £300 quid to upgrade early off this shockingly crap iPhone. Even writing a text/enail and getting the cursor in the place you want it is pathetic. Load of crap.
I hate to be that guy but I sold an iPhone 6s yesterday to a boomer and it ran smoothly with no lag whatsoever. You can still find replacement screen and battery, screen protector and cases in the shops. The same year Samsung put out Galaxy S6 Edge and that shit lags like hell, slow and completely useless. Not to mention iPhone 6s still gets security updates. Galaxy S6 is long forgotten, along with Google Nexus 6, LG G4 and Samsung Note 5. Has this changed at all? 10 years from now, between iPhone 15 and Galaxy S24, which one do you want to bet on - in terms of usability?
I have both phones, S24 has way better battery life, also better display, and bigger screen, my eyes hurts while using Iphone, more then 30min, while with S24 i can browse all night and day.
I really enjoyed the S24 Ultra. My only issue is that I like to upgrade every 2-3 years and the iPhone tends to have almost 3 times the trade in value compared to Samsung! And the Samsung costs more initially.
Both are top products, I think it all about your current ecosystem and user case. I have been switching back and forth and I found iPhone have a much better UI and apps. But I don’t think one can’t go wrong either way, both amazing products

I'm a casual user. No need to buy and iPhone a Mac and an iPad with ipods. My galaxy links with whatever. I don't have to go buy all apple products for my phone to integrate with everything else. Way more flexible. Even when you talked about lock screens you emphasized "default " for a reason. Becasue after the default phase, the s24 is way more customizable
Samsung is simply the best because it reaches out and communicates with all platforms the best while providing tons more for its devices within its family. More to choose from. More to do. More convenience. There isn't one thing another brand offers samsung doesn't yet there are tons of hardware and software your competitor is begging to have access too. Views, this hasn't been a debate since iphone 10 and these reviews will continue to limit apple consumers. The funny part is Apple consumers believe this because there's a learning/ patience curve. That's tough.

Current iPhone 14 Pro Max user here… switching to Samsung for my next device because of how limited iOS feels despite it being more “customizable” than before. Android is still years ahead. Plus I’d rather have an ecosystem where I can use my android inline with my windows computer… Apple doesn’t allow me to do that. I’ve tried using a MacBook and ended up selling it because of how overly complicated it was. Biggest reason for a future switch is battery; my iPhone is less than two years old and I wake up and after watching 1 RUclips video that’s 15 minutes long while I get ready, my iPhone has gone from full battery to 78-80% left. Charging it when I can at work I’m usually left with below 50% when I get home. Then plugging it in, it takes forever to charge. Last night I got home at 930pm and leaving it plugged in with “fast” charging by 1am it had only charged to 89%. When I first got my iPhone it would last through the day and only need charging at the end of the second day. Then it would charge fully within an hour. Now it seems like the battery dies 3x faster than it can quick charge. Not to mention, within the last 6 months I’ve had several random and concerning issues from the phone shutting off in the middle of typing and email, all the way to it saying the device overheated despite it being cool to the touch while outside in 40° weather. I’ve also had it reply to random iMessage threads from another contact despite me typing my reply directly to the person I was messaging prior; oh and it randomly switched some of my contacts to a random phone number I’ve never seen or used before. Biggest no for me was back in march somehow my credit card info leaked to Apple billing and within months I had of 2k worth of charges on my credit card from several random Apple accounts for Apple TV+ despite me never having a subscription for it. After deleting all cards from my Apple wallet, the charges have stopped🤔
1:44 Apple has an advantage over Qualcomm in terms of CPU since as the main investor, Apple has a lisence to create their own cores based on ARM ISA, unlike Qualcomm who could not do so until they bought a server CPU maker start up that had needed lisence and they prepare their own CPU cores for Snapdragon 8 gen 4. But Qualcomm has advantage in GPU and NPU since Qualcomm bought VLIW mobile graphics of ATI and developed it for a decade now and such graphics is good for neural networks, so they made their NPU based on their GPU.
Left Samsung after the S22 ultra and got the 15 pro max, I’ve only ever used Samsung since 2009 but the S22 ultra was a joke. Glad to see Samsung is doing good with their last 2 phones now but I’ll likely never go back. This is my first iPhone and it’s like going from a 1983 Porsche 944 to a 2023 911 Turbo S. At least for me.
@@percycat for starters, the battery was absolutely horrific. I had to charge it nearly 4x a day. Since the day I bought it, I was never once able to get more than 3 1/2 hrs of screen time. Add to that the constant freezing up and laggy app operations and it was barely usable. Maybe I got a dud, idk but I was giving Samsung chances only to be let down in some way. I’ve had this phone (the 15 pro max) since it was released and I’ve NEVER had a better smartphone experience. Everything works flawlessly and uniformly. No crashes, freezes, lagging etc.. and the battery surpassed my expectations by a huge margin, I get 2 days on a single charge fairly regularly and when I don’t, I get well over 9 hours of screen time (mostly on the weekends) my only regret is that I didn’t switch sooner
Using 13 pro max, since 2022. Loved it then but then wanted to switch back to Samsung. S24 ultra is better, for me. It’s the phone I’m currently saving up for. I just hope that I won’t encounter the issues some people are facing with their phones because I had issues with my 13 pro max with the touchscreen randomly opening apps in my pocket and stuff. Don’t want to regret my decision again.
Samsung for me always. I'm using the s22 ultra and it's my phone, my tablet, my PC. I don't need many devices working for me at the same time, all I need is a device that can do many things for me. I have iphone too and I love it. Samsung is my overall work phone while iphone is my camera phone.
Whenever I recommend a phone to someone, largely I'll lean towards android, unless they already have multiple other apple products, the seemless integration is a very nice touch. As for me, I bounce back and forth, LG to iphone to pixil to currently iphone
No doubt Apple's weather app is superior to any weather app on Android. As an Android user I was so disappointed when Dark Sky was acquired by Apple. Their real time predictions are spot on.

If you guys have noticed in the videos where both phones are placed flat on the surface, The SIM network performance of s24 ultra is highly better than iphone! So i prefer s24 ultra.
A lot of people (myself included) use tempered glass screen protectors on phones, and then the s24 Ultra`s anti reflective screen is useless. But for people who don`t use screen protectors, the feature is really awesome.
You're right that Samsung alone cannot compete with Apple's ecosystem. However, Apple can't compete with the Android Ecosystem. Almost all android devices are compatible with each other and there are many options available.
I think Samsung will be best for someone that isn’t interested in computers, watches, tablets, etc. I’ve owned 6 Samsung phones over the years, the last one being the S22 Ultra and I never felt the need to get any of their other devices to compliment the phones. I am now with Apple and will never go back to Samsung.
I still go for iphone. Base in my experience on samsung for 1 month, it sucks when comes to photography. I've used it when we were in hongkong disneyland and the photo sucks and not really good outcome. Everyone can say anything until they experience it. And samsung s24u is not really good at all. I swap to iphone after that.
Photo, video, Apple music, Apple Pay, faceID, health features, smoothness, standby mode, security, battery, car play.. It's all better on the Iphone then on a Samsung device..
That's a shame your stuck with apple and don't get to try out the future with android iphone just got USB a little zoom only 60 hertz refresh rate bathtub in the screen same looking phone for years no under screen camera no finger print no folds which I love I could go on forever they just got always on display iphone users get excited for old technology oh I already had it for years now
it’s all about long lasting and hold value. People still Using iPhone 8 and X while these samsung phones of that time are already in grave. Samsung run so smooth and better battery life but only initially and then have to garbage it after 2-3 years while iPhone processor stay smooth for long time.
The thing with phones and ecosystems is that any Android phone generally plays nicely with everything else on the market and I've never had issues or straight up total incompatibility like in some cases with the iPhone. P.S. My several years old Ulefone that I use for work solely for its FLIR camera also has a customizable "action button" :D
Ecosystem was never a big deal for me. All I have is the S24u, Sony earbuds and headphones and that's pretty much it 😂. I don't have a laptop right now but will plan on getting one really soon but it's not gonna be MacBook.
Try a Macbook M1/2/3 and you will love it. They have much better support, resale and quality than every windows laptop. Coming from a S24 Ultra and windows user. Apple product are good but they are the best combined.

I share media constantly over iMessage with my family who all use iPhones. Maybe when RCS rolls out to iPhones this fall it will entice me enough to switch ecosystems.
I don't care who has the best camera or is the fastest phone in benchmarks. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's and is blazing fast. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best screen (dpi/brightness/anti-glare), best battery, best/most usablility and productivity options, best gaming- and multi-media experience, best personalization options and best innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, best screen, widgets, themes, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?
Was an android user for almost 15 years, then switched to iPhone this year. I’m never going back. Sure android comes with more “features”, but these features have always been buggy, unstable and frankly annoying when being used. iPhone does EVERYTHING better. Every app is better, optimised perfectly. Reliable and stable. It’s a premium experience and I am thoroughly loving it.

Okay, I might pick an s24 up off eBay in a few months when it the price is slashed in half. NEVER buy Samsung phones new. They drop in value like a lead balloon. Wait a few months and then pick one up.
To be honest, I've never liked the iPhones. Don't know what it is, but I just prefer Android better, and have had Samsung phones for ages now. I'm looking at upgrading my s20+, so I think the s24 Ultra will be the way to go for me.
I’ve been an iPhone user for over 10+ years but had an S10+ and a Note 10. I don’t think I’d switch to a galaxy anytime soon anytime soon, but I’m extremely shocked how better the camera has bad with galaxy’s from the photo and video test I was blown away since I can finally say galaxies cameras are on par with Apple speaking of the s24 ultra very surprise. It’ll give video man keep up with the work. 🤘🏽
Ecosystem is overated. I just want a phone. S24 Ultra is the only smartphone which can do everything by itself: A complete phone. Ecosystem is a bonus. I don’t need a brand trying to pressure me only to buy its products.
One advantage I feel Samsung has over iPhone is cost. Naturally, this is region dependent, but where I live the S24 Ultra is cheaper than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, also Apple products are generally very expensive in my region vs Samsung products. However, and my family are iPhone users, Apple does have better customer service overall, though my country does have good consumer protection laws.

Exactly the people arguing in the comments are the simple minded people. I've recently went back to Samsung my wife stayed with iphone. We have no issue with anything.
Exactly.
I have really enjoyed the past two months with the S24 Ultra, but the Ultra series is always a premium experience that's hard to compare against other Android devices. I have yet to spend time with the iPhone 15 Pro Max though, I'd love to do my own side by side some day.
Upgraded from fold 4 to s24 ultra, a very durable phone with all in one screen. Premium software and hardware. A very nice experience.
Can't wait to get my Samsung 24 ultra ❤💯
When youll get it
I am an Apple fan but still Android ecosystem works with everything. The versatility of Android is something that Apple should consider
Definitely getting the S24 ultra
Nope i rather get the Samsung series phone
I prefer iPhone 15 Pro but that’s not to say S24 Ultra is not great. They’re both amazing phones with their own advantages and disadvantages.
But then it was the same with the Samsung connectivity to windows and android. iOS connecting to Apple has been doing that for the whole time
As a lifelong samsung user, I have to say I always liked samsung more, with all the possibilities with apks and apps and customization, I was even more for samsung when the notes came out with a pen, because I liked drwaing a lot and could put hours into it, also the designs and screens looked like the best.
As far as the ecosystem go, The tv/Home audio interface is great. NOBODY really ever bought those expensive apple tvs, the samsung tvs are phenomenal.
I want to know if iPhone 15 already have clipboard? Its really frustrating to go back and forth for things I want to copy and paste 😅
They don't. I was using someone's phone and was like where tf is the stuff I copied😭
@@fadingout1639 are you suggesting you can’t copy and paste text from one app to the next on an iPhone?
@@mikechivy No, they are saying that you don't have a history of all things you copied to paste at any time. On android, you can copy multiple things and paste which one you want at any time.
The iPhone can only copy and paste single items.
Have both. Love both.
iCloud and the app integrations/ecosystem is by far the biggest reason I find it hard to switch to Android tbh 🤷🏻♂️
None of them are better, it’s just personal preference. Like why are you debating
11:13 - conclusion 👍🏽
Apple can probably add AI with an update. Worst thing about Samsung phones is the awful rollout date updates. Unlike Apple where you get updates to ALL devices 7 years back, Samsung send updates by Mobile Carrier then by model number, horrible. Plus Apple lets consumers into their Beta programs, Samsung does not. Apple's handoff from phones to MAC including sound (MAC speakers or AirPods) is a great feature. The Ecosystem is king on Apple due to them making their own computers.
Do you realize Samsung ecosystem controls their Tvs washer and dryer laptops watches vacuum cleaner ect.
@@polofunkexactly
And apple adds nothing in their updates
Samsung does allow consumers into their beta programmes what do you mean hahaha
Nonsense. iPhone sucks, people buy it as some sort of perceived coolness.
And the Samsung costs more initially.
iPhone is way more reliable. I’ve had Samsung for the last 6 years. Shit has bugs and major problems. iPhone for the win
IPhones have bugs alot more.

Seems ur a car fan?
I love my 22 ultra, what didn't you like about it?
@@percycat for starters, the battery was absolutely horrific. I had to charge it nearly 4x a day. Since the day I bought it, I was never once able to get more than 3 1/2 hrs of screen time. Add to that the constant freezing up and laggy app operations and it was barely usable. Maybe I got a dud, idk but I was giving Samsung chances only to be let down in some way.
I’ve had this phone (the 15 pro max) since it was released and I’ve NEVER had a better smartphone experience. Everything works flawlessly and uniformly. No crashes, freezes, lagging etc.. and the battery surpassed my expectations by a huge margin, I get 2 days on a single charge fairly regularly and when I don’t, I get well over 9 hours of screen time (mostly on the weekends)
my only regret is that I didn’t switch sooner
Using 13 pro max, since 2022. Loved it then but then wanted to switch back to Samsung. S24 ultra is better, for me. It’s the phone I’m currently saving up for. I just hope that I won’t encounter the issues some people are facing with their phones because I had issues with my 13 pro max with the touchscreen randomly opening apps in my pocket and stuff. Don’t want to regret my decision again.
