    Great tips, although the main issue I'm having is that I get consistently to the top 20-30 provided 8 people don't target me at the start, but then the blocks (can't remember their proper name - sorry) falling ridiculously fast and the healthy number of junk lines causes me to rapidly make stupid mistakes and ultimately lose. I know at this point it's just a matter of learning to think quicker and keeping on top of junk rows, but it's still annoying..

    Judging from that gameplay footage I can say with 99.9% certainty that you won't stand a chance at all, even though you know the basics. :)
    Btw, you don't automatically lose, just because you got a chunk of players against you.
    Had 11 players against me once and K.O.'d 3 of them with counters (which seem to get more effective if multiple players target you). I don't know what exactly happened to the others, but they stopped bothering me after a while as well.

    OK, nice coverage of the theme: "how to play Tetris 99".
    But, if you really want to win, you have to first and foremost learn how to pull off t-spins, combos and tetrises.
    The fine tuning is then made with the tactics. Selecting, who you want to attack won´t have any impact to the game, if you´re not able to actually attack people by clearing lines properly!! So, don´t think, that using the tactics selection is going to help you win the game, if you aren´t good at playing the actual tetris game!

    • @MagicTurtle643
      @MagicTurtle643 5 лет назад

      @@Nyah420 Hahha fair point. But in some renditions of it, there was a lot of fun stuff and ways to win. The 3DS one is pretty good and has a lot of challenges you do actually win on. Also the Tetris DS had an online mode against strangers worldwide that I could actually win pretty regularly in. But when you multiply the number of opponents by like 25 or 100 it gets... harder... to say the least.

    • @MagicTurtle643
      @MagicTurtle643 5 лет назад

      Also losing to yourself and getting a high score is different than just trying to beat 98 other people and always losing. There's no score. Just a fluctuating number between 1 and 99. Although realistically your score is going to fluctuate between 10-60 most of the time. Not that fun.

    At the end when you think you lode I hit spin. And just stay on k,o or attack when like 5 people on you. Build height then hit. Hard drop all the time. Fast moving. Don’t mind about other just focus on you and attacker if not gone yet the attacker just walk away or run if you can. Take a break after a while my hand away hard after a round or 2 so might do you as well or anything too like sleepyhead. My tip to help my Tetris fries and flows, 🤗 hugs kisses 😘. Bye 👋.
