Although Sawhorse are very helpful, sometimes you have to improvise to get to the right height.
That no one has invented this before me. If so, write it in the comments. You can adjust it from 80cm to 123cm using the stepless 8cm. They work better than I imagined.

I might not always be a huge fan of your designs (tastes are different), but I am ALWAYS impressed by your craftsmanship and your engineering! You can make shapes just with your hands and a grinder that I wouldn’t be able to make even with a jig and a milling machine… 💪
    Absolutely awesome!

Another brilliant build Dirk, thanks for the ideas and inspiration, your builds always contain original twists to reliable technology, nothing wrong with that, especially as most of the bought items these days are poorly constructed using sub optimal materials.

Having the coarse height adjustment in the top part reduces it's stability, which is why most of the commercial saw horses avec extending legs. The fine adjustment is a very nice touch.

Have you considered ball locking pins instead of bolts for the vertical height adjustment? Perhaps replace the fine adjustment turnbuckle with all-thread or an Acme screw rod and a pair of nuts that ride on it. Then you can have a hand crank on the end for adjustment.

I believe most of us followers would like to learn that. I don't know how it is in your country and if the metal is of the same type, but here, in just a few hours, it's contaminated.
