Too funny, I'm a soft classic and have never been able to find a fringe that suits lol. Guess I can stop trying, it's that classics and fringes don't really suit... What I love about Kibbe is it's such a relief lol
I'm also a soft classic and when I was younger I decided that I wanted bangs but they were one sided and looked horrendous on me. Now I also have bangs, they are kind of blunt but not too much. People say I look better with them than without.

Some thoughts about classic body types with naturally wavy, curly or kinky hair: (Summary: I think the recommendations of "neat", "sleek" and "smooth" hair for classics do not necessarily mean straight hair. We can think of neat, sleek and smooth in terms of haircut lines, hairstyles, hair appearance and health, frizz reduction and wave/curl/kink enhancement.) I notice that the usual hair recommendations for classics tend to cause some confusion. We hear words such as "neat", "sleek" and "smooth", and we might think that this refers to the individual hair strands, in other words, that the hair should be straight. But I don't think that this is what the recommendations actually mean! This is what I think the words "neat", "sleek" and "smooth" mean for classics with all hair types, but especially with wavy, curly or kinky hair: 1) Neat, sleek and smooth in terms of the OVERALL LINES OF THE HAIRCUT This means avoiding extremely blunt and geometric haircuts, which would be "too hard" on classics. And also avoiding haircuts with extremely long and disconnected layers, to the point where the longest layers look like thin little wisps of hair, which would be "too loose" on classics. The keyword here is EXTREMELY. Some bluntness, or some layers, is going to work better depending on your Kibbe body type (for example, a little more bluntness for dramatic classics, a little more soft layering for soft classics), your hair type (in general, more curl, more layers) and the look you are going for. 2) Neat, sleek and smooth in terms of the OVERALL LINES OF THE HAIRSTYLE Wavy, curly and kinky hair can be worn in different hairstyles (loose, updos, halfdos, braids, hair pins and clips, headbands and scarves, or combinations of these) and still work perfectly for classics. As long as the overall line of the hairstyle is still fairly balanced and contained, it can work. Once again, the keyword is EXTREMELY: avoiding hairstyles that are extremely stiff and heavy looking, extremely blunt and geometric, extremely ornate and overly delicate with too many small hair accessories, extremely bold with too many or too large hair accessories. 3) Neat, sleek and smooth in terms of OVERALL HAIR APPEARANCE AND HEALTH Is the hair (especially the ends) very thin, wispy, brittle, dry, damaged from chemicals or heat? If so, some things might help, depending on the extent of the damage: avoiding or trying to reduce chemical or heat damage, switching to a gentler hair care routine (see next item), doing some sort of deep conditioning treatment or repair treatment (you might want to see a professional for this), slowly cutting away the damaged ends of the hair over a period of months or years until you have entirely new and healthy hair, or perhaps taking the plunge and doing the "big chop" where you cut off the damaged ends all at once. 4) Neat, sleek and smooth in terms of REDUCING FRIZZ AND ENHANCING THE NATURAL WAVE, CURL OR KINK Notice that I said "reducing frizz", not "eliminating frizz". Some frizz will ALWAYS be there, no matter what! But frizz CAN be reduced, and the natural waves, curls and kinks CAN be enhanced, and this will lead to a "neat" look! My suggestion here is to learn about "the curly girl method", which is a hair care routine with guidelines on how to cleanse, condition, dry and style naturally wavy, curly or kinky hair. The idea of this hair care routine is to be gentle, by avoiding/reducing chemical and heat damage, and avoiding over stripping the natural moisture and oils from the scalp and the hair. After learning about the principles of the method and trying out different techniques and products with different ingredients, you might decide not to follow the method perfectly, to make adjustments here and there, or to look for another hair care routine, and that's OK! But understanding the principles of the curly girl method can still serve as a good starting point for changing how we think and care about wavy, curly or kinky hair.
yes please! i was thinking "what about curly hair!?" i think i'm a classic over all, i have very curly hair and i love wearing it down and messy, now it makes sense why i always felt i looked better with my hair pulled back :/
Absolutely love all the depth of the information you are giving us. Being a Dramatic Classic, I can only add one thing: we as Classics have a unique ability to swerve a little towards any other type (since they are in the middle) and still be able to pull that off. So if you feel like you love your bangs and they highlight your personal style and who you are, follow your intuition and cut them (the right shape though, like Aly advises)! If you feel you need a change, you can do either, it's hair and it grows out. I've had both and no bags=elegant clean look, bangs=edgy, statement look. You choose!
I finally understand why I shouldn't have bangs. Every couple of years I try and every time I feel there is something not right. :-D Thank you. I will never try again ..LOL
Classics need everything neat, clean, and crisp. Every time I have something slightly wispy or not accurate, I look sloppy and messy. For hair, clean lines and some volume is everything.
As a dramatic classic, I've always lowkey known i look best without bangs, but also... I just love having them! I always go for angular straight dramatic bangs which suits me, when they grow out into a wispy bag deal it does not look as good! It's so interesting to learn why this all is!
I'm a dramatic classic but I'll definitely not give up on my bangs. I love them and my forehead just looks completely horrible without them. Besides everyone has a different mixture of yin and yang. So there are surely classics that can pull of bangs and other who can less.
I'm a DC and after all these years of wearing bangs I finally understand the problem. I had them similar to Dakota's, even tried Marion's baby bangs once, it still looked cute but somehow not suited to me. Now at 27 I'm finally embracing letting my whole face show. If youre a classic I definitely recommend avoiding bangs or at least styling them so they stay off the face. Great video!
These were great examples but I wish one of the people you mentioned had naturally textured hair and wore it that way. I typed myself as a SC (maybe I'm wrong) but my hair is very thick, dense, and a mix of waves and loose curls. I understand classics look best when their look is smooth, symmetrical, and sleek, and I think an example of someone with textured hair who does achieve a classic look would be helpful for those of us who don't have straight hair and don't want to alter our texture.
As a fellow soft classic with naturally curly hair, I think buns (depending on the length of your hair, as they can easily derail into messy bun natural territory) really help me look a lot more sleek. Even though my hair is still curly, the parts around my face look a lot neater, and I’ve been told on multiple occasions that I look really smart and sophisticated. That being said, wearing a bun all the time would be tiresome, so including textured hair if possible would be an amazing idea (Also, when I wear my hair down I part it in the middle, that way even if it doesn’t look the most “sleek,” it’s still symmetrical, and I find that the curls and volume - not too much but enough so that my hair isn’t flat on my face - really compliment my face as long as they’re not frizzy)
I agree with everything besides that I personaly like Dacota Johnson with bangs. I am a soft classic and I myself was experimenting with hair and bangs a lot. I think it is because our face is not as obviously clear as classics' or dramatic classics' faces/bodies and we are not so sure what suits us. It is hard for me to find the perfect hairstyle.
I agree with you on this. I think there must be a spectrum within each body type and some can get away with breaking the rules a bit. However, even though she looks cute and endearing with bangs, I'm getting the elegant grown-up vibes from her without them.
Dakota has some kind of an essence, ingenue?, she looks a bit doll-ish, that makes her look very charming in the soft bangs, I prefer it on her personally.
Loving this video series. I would love to see one on ethnic hair at some point? I’m a black girl, soft classic and wonder where more Afrocentric styles fit in, afros, curls, braids, etc. 💛
I think the whole point with classic is the neatness. Doesn’t matter your hair texture, it’s about avoiding frizzy, layered hair. A well maintained, neat Afro in a classic looks incredibly elegant. It’s a lot of work I bet!
Di :3 so much work! 😭 the notion of neatness i understand. But for example there are so many different styles of braids. Jumbo braids, box braids, Fulani braids, twists, etc. all which give a different effect. I had long Senegalese twists in at one point and even though the hair itself looked gorgeous i felt it was a bit heavy and separate from my looks. I don’t know. That’s why i would love for Aly to give her input. She has a great eye and i would love her opinion 😊
Myra Emily-Neheng visual aids definitely would help so much! I recommend you check this video from Merriam Style on Kibbe for African descent, I just remembered about it. Maybe there are some good examples there! ruclips.net/video/YgcVxLVeFec/видео.html
Wow, I just typed in Olivia Wilde images, and her beauty just shines out without hair dangling over her forehead. She looks too pretty and dolly with a fringe. Absolutely gorgeous without.
Hey thanks Aly, I'm a soft classic and I appreciate that you said we don't need bangs because our face is enough. However, that's not my case because I have curly hair and it's weird because even if it's curly it's so thin that lacks volume, so it looks better on me when I have it short to the shoulders in a bob style. So I also look so much better with bangs on the side while my hairline is on the center. Why? Because it creaters volume on my forehead and also makes my high cranial top look bigger wich benefits me because my face looks smaller. I saw your previous video about bangs and I'm grateful you mentioned this on the curly bangs type ❤
Thank you Aly! Yes I agree overall Classics look better with no bangs. If any, the long side swept is nice. I learned in this video as a classic to stay away from hair that is too tousled.
Girl, you are spot on in your analyses. I finally figured out that I’m a DC after being confused over the choices. I have been wearing Long Beach waves and tousled hair and it occurred to me I got many more compliments when I did an asymmetrical Bob a few years back. Thanks for the info.
I'm so in love with this video, I'm a dramatic classic and forever I've felt like I was really limited in my hair styles, as much as I want to do chunky, layered stuff, you are totally right, I look best when my face is clear of distraction
So that’s why bangs don’t work for me! I think now I can appreciate the clean , simple not too severe or frilly or tousled is better for the different classics . Awesome video!🌷
I think the main issue with classics having bangs is when they have wispy bangs that are more of a 'natural' vibe. I'm a classic and I think I look better with bangs but mine are more like Olivia Wilde's when she has the sleek ponytail. I think sleek statement bangs can look good on classics. Also, these women are all very beautiful celebrities hence their faces look incredible with no bangs. For those of us with less perfect features, bangs can definitely help 😂
Exactly! I feel like I am a classic too and I've always had bangs. I really don't look good without it. I wish we could see more examples of classics with bangs.
I have that Olivia Wilde-esque square face and you calling her face beautiful and powerful when she's not hiding it was so inspiring. It's so annoying trying to hide it and like you said "pretend to be somebody else." Embrace the square 😂⬜
Absolutely right for soft classics. I am that body type and I remember when I cut blunt, straight bangs I kind of lost a part of my personality. Can't even explain it, it was very strange, and ever since I have never cut my bangs. Sooo much better just without them. 😁
Yayyy! Classics! I am glad to know that I wasn’t that off in hair style. I usually have that side hair or on the middle however, my hair is wavy and frizzy sometimes and I used to cut it layered (like for naturals) now I know I have to keep it as neat as possible. Last time I went to the stylist she suggested to keep it all the same length and I dismissed it, she was right!!! Definitely life changing!
Di :3. That's a dilemma. When I have my hair one length, I tend to get the pyramid effect. No volumn on top and wide at the bottom. I'm a classic with long curly hair. It can look wild sometimes. I notice in casual situations and with men, they like the wild big wavy look. However at work and out in public, I get a lot more respect if I tame my hair and it looks more controlled. So I have long layers and use leave in conditioner to control the curls so it is more wavy and less frizzy.
C. Omg exactly same! My friends love the wild waves and get pissed if I cut my hair but I notice I look more put together if I make it more neat, more sophisticated so it is a dilemma for sure. Maybe we don’t wanna look wild or elegant all the time right?😊
Wow I am SO shocked by the example of the actress from Mad Men, I have never seen her with bangs and I literally did not recognize her until I saw her without the bangs -- the difference and the elegance that is her without the bangs and without the layered cut is so clear to me now! Now I know I don't suit an elaborate cut or bangs either.
I adore your videos! You make your points so clear, but you still sound very respectful towards the people you're commenting on :) The examples you've chosen are great, it really shows that royal, chic look! Looking forward to more videos :) Thank you for making in interested in Kibbe!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm a soft classic growing out a pixie cut, and needed these inspiration photos as I'm frustrated with the messy 'in between' stages of growing my hair. Thanks!
As a soft classic, I adore bangs on other people but this video is on point. My face is best suited to my body type when my face is clear. The dilema is how do i mix it up!
I completed the body type quiz with my family and found I'm a Soft Classic. Such an eye opener but makes perfect sense. Thank you Aly for bringing this and all you bring to us.
Same girl. I used to think girls with tiny nosed were so blessed and mine is nicely shaped just not small. Not big either. ..just not small. Then she mentioned how widened bridge can give a tigres effect I immediately embraced my medium nosey.
Brooke Buffington that’s awesome! I have a bit of a Greek nose and had been ashamed of it my whole life (I’m 42). Then she talked about how if people took away their Greek noses they would not have the same special look that is interesting. For the first time in my life I began to view my nose as part of what makes me special!
@@LilyGold oh no I love greek noses on beautiful women. Its defining and you should embrace it. I had a gap in my front teeth and was teased so much as a child. I finally closed it with invisalign when I was 23, and I can honestly say there are days I wish I hadn't. I see these beautiful models like Georgia mae jagger and Ruth crilly Nd they look gorgeous with their gap teeth. I wish I wouldn't have let other people make me feel unnattractive over it. My 7 yr old daughter has a little gap and i just cherish it.
I love this video so much! I was never sure about my kibbe type but thanks to you I am more sure about being a soft classic. I was wearing bangs and it was... OK. But when I have a clear forehead.... it just look so much more chic and elegant! Thank you again!
The sad thing is, that sometimes we recreate looks to give a statement about how we feel we are but at the end we cannot carry it because we just are what we are.
Thank you so much! I suspected for a while that I am a classic, but was never anywhere near sure. All those examples of classics here, really have reassured me, that I am indeed classic as well. (And I never looked my best with bangs either :D )
I'm flamboyant natural and I ONLY look good with big hair (long and wavy, preferably). Unfortunately, my hair is naturally smooth and fine, nor does it grow particularly long or fast.
@@actuallyseriously8616 mine grows very slow too, but rn im trying to make it grow pretty long and keeping it healthy really worked so far, like oiling the ends and wearing protective styles ^^
This is so weird before I knew i was soft classic this has always been true, bangs don't really fit me so ive always had my hair open and sleek and I didn't know that was why xD
yes, I see that too. thanks for showing and explaining all that. I find those videos with examples of details of body types very enlightening. though some have difficulties to tell all the body types apart and identify them (I think, because one does need more time and maybe a book to fully get it), with those explanations it becomes more clear. the differences show more. it might be not easy to identify the own bodytype, once one does know it, those kind of videos help a lot to understand the best styling for oneself. not only the others.
I love your videos so much!! The only thing I wish is if you could do a video on the body types with examples of all heavier girls examples. Sometimes I struggle to know if i'm romantic/soft classic or soft natural..
Thank you so much for this video - I've been wearing bangs for my whole life and was so afraid not to because of my big forehead. But after looking at Dakota Johnson's photos you'd showed I decided to give up wearing bangs finally
This was incredibly helpful and so thorough, thank you Aly. I know it's an older video now but I only just discovered Kibbe image IDs when trying to revamp my wardrobe and actually have a style. I have short hair that I'm growing out and bit and was debating bangs and this has convinced me of which way to take my hairstyle, while it still being the short length that I want.
I believe I am either a classic or soft classic. When I had a full fringe before, it looked so awkward that I brushed it off and reverted back to no fringe after a couple of days.
Oh, I must be dramatic classic. I am not so angular like Olivia W. But some people think I look a bit like Nina D. It is great to receive guide from you. Indeed, no wispy thing for me. Thank you.
Very interesting. I’m a Dramatic Classic with thick wavy hair. I’ve just cut in some bangs, but I’m not sure I like them. Your pictures here really show off what Kibbe was saying. Now I get it and know where I’m headed. Thanks.
Now I know I can't never wear bangs xD I never haven't, for some reason, and now, I understand that maybe it was somewhat intuitive... Thank you, Aly, for the great content :)
Loving this series! I am soft gamine, with some drama since I am mixed. I cannot wait for my section, I struggle with bangs, bc my aunt is in the back of my head telling me my forehead needs it, although my ratio is proportionate.
I have got medium length wavy hair... I love experimenting with my hair and so i had different haircuts every time.. I have considered having bangs but watching your video I'm glad i didn't had bangs... But one thing long layers look good on me, it doesn't look noisy on my face at all, maybe the symmetry matters here...
I'm a DC and I feel like without bangs, I look GREAT but I love bangs too much to let it go. I have micro bangs that are a little above my eyebrows and I think they look amazing but I want short hair to match the whole short look. Let's pray I can somehow try no bangs again
I hear you and yet, I still haven't found THE haircut that gives this wow effect... I'm a soft classic but nothing seems to make my eyes pop or anything. It's quite frustrating.
Ikr? Soft classic too and I've had the side-swept bangs all my life cause that's the only way I don't look weird or boring. I know we're supposed to look better without bangs, but when I take them off is like everything that I find interesting about my face disappears. Even If I style my hair as she says I look pretty boring/neutral/meh
I don’t know if it’s just me but Soft Classics can be cute maybe it’s more with some than others . Marion and Naomi have a cuteness especially Naomi. It varies in their looks but I think they have it. It could be confusing as you don’t think of it with the Classic types.
She seem really smart beautiful from inside and outside i don’t subscribe to Any beauty guru because i find them fake or even like them but this girl is amazing she is a good guider
I’ve always hated and tried to hide my big forehead. I just did a bit of makeup and swept my hair back.... it does look good! thanks for the new perspective. Gonna rock the big forehead now 😂
I'm a soft classic I think and i've had bangs most of my life, I feel like I look good both with or without them, but I do think as well that no bangs looks more chic
I love all the examples and how she explains her opinion on why or why not. One thing that troubles me is I have very curly hair and it can't be tamed so easily. I can't maintain that "clean look" for long periods of time. How can we achieve that same elegance with rebellious hair? Any tips would be great!
I remember being a child my mother always cut me my bangs (straight, curtains, etc), because she didn't like my wide forehead (not as big as Olivia Wilde or Dakota's, but wider than the regular one). As a teenager my skin got very greasy, so every dermatologist and hairdresser told me to eliminate the bangs. At the begging I felt bad, but now I realise that I feel more "royal" without bangs. And as a member of the classic family, as you said, that we can pull off things from other families and make them us, every time I have had bangs, I look more natural than Classic. But is very messy to wear bangs when your skin and hair is thin and greasy.
Hi! I have a question, I would like to ask you if you could do Jenniefer Lawrence as an example for soft natural? I look a lot like her and I struggle to find out what best suits my bodytype. Maybe she is a hard one to figure out, I dont know but if you can do it I would appreciate it soo much! I looove that you make these longer takes on what fits the bodytypes! Love your work, Thank you for sharing!
I'm a classic and I had bangs cut two weeks ago... I must say it looks good, I wanted to hide my forehead a bit, but it feels like I lost part of my beauty, idk, it's weird
Aly!! I love your videos and I made a test to see what's my type and I found out I might be a Classic Dramatic. I've been looking for boards of things to wear and I found that this type is for very elegant clothes and honestly it drives me crazy. My lifestyle doesn't allow me to dress like Jackie Kennedy, I really prefer something much more casual and comfortable, but that suits me too as a Classic Dramatic. I've been looking in your boards but I can't find something and I'd be sooo thankful if you shared some casual clothes for Classic Dramatics like me... who have absolutely no money or super lavish life to be wearig those elegant clothes?
Aly, I wonder if you'll cover the "Rachel" haircut that was so popular from the tv show Friends. Did it look so good on Jennifer Aniston because she was a natural? I still hear hairstylists talk about how many women wanted "the Rachel".
Classic 0:00

Gucci As Always - good suggestions, thanks
Em Shef - YES! I need that video, too.
Exactly, I'm a soft classic with very curly hair and I was waiting for some examples.
@@ju2082 i think she does look a lot better with bangs
Loving this video series. I would love to see one on ethnic hair at some point? I’m a black girl, soft classic and wonder where more Afrocentric styles fit in, afros, curls, braids, etc. 💛
Myra Emily-Neheng great idea!
💖
Lisa Pollitt How do u know u are a classic?
@@fuzzykitten0569 I took the test it's in Aly's videos under Kibbe series..it's not that hard🙂
I am soft classic
Sara without h - Aly has a couple videos that help you figure out which body type you have. Check out her channel.
@@fuzzykitten0569 if you don't look good with tousled hair, clinches it.
Girl, you are spot on in your analyses. I finally figured out that I’m a DC after being confused over the choices. I have been wearing Long Beach waves and tousled hair and it occurred to me I got many more compliments when I did an asymmetrical Bob a few years back. Thanks for the info.
You are honestly one of my absolute favourite youtubers ✨ you videos are always straight to the point an with great content ! ☺️
I'm so in love with this video, I'm a dramatic classic and forever I've felt like I was really limited in my hair styles, as much as I want to do chunky, layered stuff, you are totally right, I look best when my face is clear of distraction
9:17 soft classic
I'm romantic but I like and comment the other ones to favour your videos in the RUclips algorithm 😉
Sometimes I wonder how everybody pulls off bangs in japan
Ko_Toriii most of them are probably not classic then?
They’re all gamin/soft gamin which is very different
You can look okay with bangs that doesn’t mean you look your best.
You can look about average
Yayyy!
Maybe we don’t wanna look wild or elegant all the time right?😊
Love your thoughts and explanations, Aly. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, ever so grateful! Take care 💛
Nice job. I see what you are saying. There really is a pure beauty in classics, that doesn’t improve with adding more of anything!
This has given me so much perspective & has solidified the idea that I don’t like bangs on me! I’m a dramatic classic, and this is spot on!
Thanks!
Kirstine Same! I usually clip my hair out of my face and try to avoid mirrors 😂
Oh, dramatic classic and just growing out an edgy pixie! Ugh, I hate looking sort of cute but almost 'mumsie'!
As a soft classic, I adore bangs on other people but this video is on point. My face is best suited to my body type when my face is clear. The dilema is how do i mix it up!
I loveeee these videos and appreciate you!
I completed the body type quiz with my family and found I'm a Soft Classic. Such an eye opener but makes perfect sense. Thank you Aly for bringing this and all you bring to us.
I love Olivia wilde with straight bangs, so beautiful
That's a very interesting observation, how classics look without bangs.
Thanks for another great video, Aly! :)
Im letting my bangs grow this quarantine and I think i made the right choice 💕 soft classic here
You are the only person who has made me feel beautiful in regards to my nose. I love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!! I love this whole series dedicated to specific body types, so much food for thought
The sad thing is, that sometimes we recreate looks to give a statement about how we feel we are but at the end we cannot carry it because we just are what we are.
I just binge watched your series and took notes. So DAMN helpful! Thank you so much, i´m already hyped for Bangs for the Naturals
Thank you so much! I suspected for a while that I am a classic, but was never anywhere near sure. All those examples of classics here, really have reassured me, that I am indeed classic as well. (And I never looked my best with bangs either :D )
i can tell i‘m a natural because i look terrible in sleek, pulled back and clean hair (and also with very feminine hair)
Same here, I look AWFUL with sleek hair. Tousled works great. :)
I’m flamboyant natural, can’t wait for the natural video. I’ve always wanted bangs but can never get them right for me
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 i am a soft classic and your are completely right 😍 thanks again for all those tips
Your number one fan from Egypt 🇪🇬
Excellent video. I havent had bangs in 3 years and am so happy with how it makes my face look.
I’ve been following you since the beginning beginning and I just can’t believe you haven’t landed in magazines yet bc you’re such a freakin gem.
Thanks.
Thank you so much Aly! I'd love to see Soft Classic examples with curls and bangs.
I love love LOVE your work! You’ve researched Kibbe and given us so much useful info. You’d be an incredible stylist or personal shopper.
when u said: short bangs, gaminish bangs, i was so happy, cause i am a gamine and i cut short bangs before u uploaded bangs series.
Now I know I can't never wear bangs xD
I never haven't, for some reason, and now, I understand that maybe it was somewhat intuitive...
Thank you, Aly, for the great content :)
Loving this series! I am soft gamine, with some drama since I am mixed. I cannot wait for my section, I struggle with bangs, bc my aunt is in the back of my head telling me my forehead needs it, although my ratio is proportionate.
Can’t wait for the natural video, i wanna get bangs so baddly
Thank you so much for your videos, very throughout and thoughtful. They have helped me so much!
I'm a dramatic classic with a 5head and I've always known I don't need bangs;)
LMAO I have baby bangs helpme
I have got medium length wavy hair... I love experimenting with my hair and so i had different haircuts every time.. I have considered having bangs but watching your video I'm glad i didn't had bangs...
But one thing long layers look good on me, it doesn't look noisy on my face at all, maybe the symmetry matters here...
I'm a DC and I feel like without bangs, I look GREAT but I love bangs too much to let it go. I have micro bangs that are a little above my eyebrows and I think they look amazing but I want short hair to match the whole short look. Let's pray I can somehow try no bangs again
You're a genious keeep it up girl ♡
I hear you and yet, I still haven't found THE haircut that gives this wow effect... I'm a soft classic but nothing seems to make my eyes pop or anything. It's quite frustrating.
Ikr? Soft classic too and I've had the side-swept bangs all my life cause that's the only way I don't look weird or boring. I know we're supposed to look better without bangs, but when I take them off is like everything that I find interesting about my face disappears. Even If I style my hair as she says I look pretty boring/neutral/meh
@@evea4527 LITERALLY ME. But I've only had side swept bangs for like a month.
I love my bangs and am a soft classic :( Now I consider to grow it longer gut seriously this is such a nerve-wracking thing to do.
I wish you had included curly hair in this.
Also I have a Rihanna going on and was thinking about cutting bangs but I'm not so sure about it now.
Gonna rock the big forehead now 😂
Lol, me too. I always used to moan that showing my forehead made me look too intelligent. But maybe that's ok ...
I think I’m a classic! So much makes sense now! The last example really looked like me!
I'm a soft classic I think and i've had bangs most of my life, I feel like I look good both with or without them, but I do think as well that no bangs looks more chic
Please, do gamines next, I'm going to a hairdresser on Saturday
Will try to edit as soon as I can! x x x
@@AlyArt Oh my god, thank you! Love your videos, your knowledge is amazing! You're too kind ❤
@@AlyArtArt yes, please!!! I too am getting my hair done this week
Same. I'm starting to question if I'm even gamine now though. Haha.
I wonder if you're going to talk about Zooey Deschanel...
Aly, we would love to see your opinion on eyebrow shapes for the different types!
Hennie Hådén - Maybe you could try to copy Jennifer Lawrence herself. She always looks good. I think you're very lucky to have that look.
@@c.9231 Thank you, but I dont look exactly like her so there of my confusion. I will consider it however, have a good day!
Thank you so much, Aly. I also think it would be great to see the video about the hats for different body types ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a classic and I had bangs cut two weeks ago... I must say it looks good, I wanted to hide my forehead a bit, but it feels like I lost part of my beauty, idk, it's weird
your forehead looks normal btw
Ha ha. That's how I've always felt. Read my comment further up ...
@ Excellent way to say it!
Yea! I was waiting for this. 😀 Thanks Aly. You have a keen aesthetic eye. I learn a lot from your observations and love your channel. 💚
Omg now I know I'm soft classic, thank you
waiting for the naturals video feels like an eternity
Trying to patiently wait for the upcoming soft gamine video. 🤗
Ta tum I‘m waiting for a flamboyant gamine video 😍
Classics... Sophisticated yet cute
Aly, I wonder if you'll cover the "Rachel" haircut that was so popular from the tv show Friends. Did it look so good on Jennifer Aniston because she was a natural? I still hear hairstylists talk about how many women wanted "the Rachel".
