I could just listen to you for hours...your language is so beautiful and precise, it makes the topics really come to life! I also really like this system and your mini series about it. Immensely helpful. I quickly identified myself as a flamboyant natural and so far your styling tips really worked for me 👍
I would also say makeup for different shapes faces or different eye shapes. I struggle with that the most, as I have yet to find anyone with eyes like mine. They’re extremely difficult 😫😭
more videos about winter hats >(feel like nothing fits me )) Alyona, you are wonderful, talanted and very beautiful. thank you for your videos, you help me a lot!
Does anyone else have difficulty picking their body type? I’ve watched the video a couple times, and I feel like I fit into a couple different types 😤 love her and her work! So much talent in art and singing!! 🤗
Aly I started realizing how makeup looks are in the description for each body type. For example, bold bright eyeshadow colors on dramatic types such as runway models...smoky eye for soft dramatic...soft pinks for romantic...a more "girl next door" look for naturals and so on...would love to see tutorials for each type! Thank you for this series. I think your subscribers can agree you put so much kind thoughtfulness into all of your videos! ❤
Soft classic, my favorite frames are a delicate brown metallic half-rimless style, I would say the shape is rectangular but not skinny and very rounded. They are the Lenton & Rusby LR5003 if you want to see a picture. My 2nd favorite is a bright blue thin plastic round one from Zenni 🤓
Big compliment to you, Alyona for this entirely new "glassification". I will keep it in mind when selecting vintage prescription glasses for my models (art project "Ladies behind crystal veil")
Your content is amazing. From your singing skills to your beauty tips, I admire everything you're doing. Love the way you describe and talk about each type of beauty without diminishing any of them but instead emphasizing our qualities and helping us embracing our natural beauty. I've been following nearly all of your tips and they're working really well. Thank you :)
Just subscribed! I've always been too scared to leave my comfort zone in glasses and after watching two of your videos, I have never been more excited to try on new frames I wouldn't have dared touched a few days ago. Thank you so much for making your videos so easy to understand ♡
I love how as you change your glasses all throughout the video, we can clearly see how some styles look slightly more separate from you, like it's blurring even dulling your own lines, and some your like your figure is struggling to carry it, like it's too big for your own structure, and as soon as you wore the glasses that suits your body type, boom you look so much more fresh, elevated and glamorous.
To be honest i rolled my eyes when I saw the title. But this was actually very informative and useful. Thankyou your videos are always worth watching :)
Thanks for the video! This video came in just in time! I'm going to buy new glasses soon, and I'll probably get some tortoiseshell frames. Taking one step at a time to look better as a Soft Natural 👍🏻
Such a great video. I love that I can´t feel your passion and appreciation for every type that you are talking of. It seems that you have no favorite and that´s awsome. Thank you very much!
Came on to see if Aly had done a breakdown of shades? How silly of me to think this was too in-depth, but of course she has! It’s Aly! Brilliant! Off to walk the dogs in my small round SN sunnies. 👍💐❤️
This video gave me the courage to buy the round and roundish-oval frames I own now. I thought I was stuck with rectangular frames, that never felt like me and made my eyes look smaller, no matter how big they were.
Oh my gosh, I love your lipstick! What is it? I really enjoy your body type videos. They are so different from the typical shapes and are so much more in depth!
Why are you so amazing?! I love you! oh, and please please can you make a video for body type basics? :D Like must haves or like basic rules in make up, fashion (casual, office.. etc), and hair that will really reveal the beauty of each body type? one body type per video.. I havn't seen all your videos yet so maybe you already did.. :D but just so you know... You are the best youtuber.
I think your glasses videos are the best! I’m flamboyant gamine with oval face shape. I agree that “funny” glasses fit us well - they don’t look too out of the ordinary. I have brow line that look like a soft cat eye, an octagonal pair, and Harry Potter style. They’re all in gold metal, even though my eyes are -7, because I like the light weight and wear gold jewelry. For me, rather than being bothered by them, I accept the thick lenses (even at high index) as just another part of the aesthetic.
The pair of glasses at 6:26 is literally the pair I chose as a soft classic. Initially I thought they'd look weird because I really was not convinced that round glasses would look good, but I'd suggest giving it a try for anybody who thinks other glasses shapes look a little off.
@@9CatsAnd13Bats yeah but all the example pics are of thin women. It's the "you just have to find your body type" bit that's the issue. It's easy to see the variation across the categories on thin women but it's hard to visualise how these body types transfer to big bodies. Especially because it's not a very common body typing system it's harder to find those answers elsewhere. We don't want our own special categories, we just want to see the fat versions of these existing categories.
I watched this video and glasses for your face shape. Glad that I watched these before getting my first glasses for astigmatism. I always wonder why square sunglasses doesn't look good and really showed my round face shapes. I thought I shouldn't go for round frames! But, I actually chosen round minimalist frame and it definitely works better. Thank you!
I have a video idea: make up looks inspired by the body types? Basically how you would interpret them in a look? I know kibe's recommendations in terms of make up but I think it would be extremely cool to create looks based on that in combination with your own interpretation! Just as an idea :)
Will squared shapes or a bit angular glasses look good on soft classics? Any suggestions i have round face and less prominent features and less contrast
Love ALL your videos, Alyona! You are so smart, articulate, conscientious & creative! Also loving your lip colour here - may I ask what lipstick you are wearing? Please keep up the great work! :-)
I love your choices of eyewear. You have made what many young women consider a flaw to their looks a positive. I always hate to hear an attractive young woman claim that they don't look good wearing glasses. You have made having less than perfect eyesight a very stylish look. I would even say that your glasses enhance your good looks even more. Much the way fine jewelry does. I'm a retired optician so over my years of working I fitted many very attractive young ladies with glasses and my goal was always to make them look even better wearing glasses than they did without glasses. I took great pleasure when they would come back in wearing their glasses for a minor adjustment and tell me how happy they were with their glasses. They enjoyed all the complements they got wearing glasses. I'm sure that you have also gotten many nice complements on how nice you look wearing glasses as well? Being at -5.00 your glasses are very much a necessity to enable to function properly, something i'm sure you're enable to do without glasses or contacts. I like all of your glasses on you but I do have a preference for a couple more than others. I'm 70 years old so I very well remember when young ladies were all wearing the "cat-eye" glasses like you're wearing at the 1:10 point of your video. They look as good on you now as the did back then. And your "Brownline" glasses also are a favorite with me. They are very similar to the Ray-Ban Clubmaster which even though it has been around for years is still a very popular choice for many young ladies.
Thank you. your videos are most helpful. Now i'm wishing for instructions on what to wear on my head. want some kind of hat but think i look stupid in whatever i try on. Think i'm a soft classic, by the way.
Wow, I looked up some classic and soft classic celebrities in hats, and yeah, Grace Kelly in a hat looks... sorta stupid sometimes. Surprising! FWIW, all the classics seemed to look great in both small tilted brims (like 1970's fedoras worn tilted or flipped up on one side) and close-to-the-head bubbles (like berets or those little 60s beehive hats): i.pinimg.com/564x/82/d1/50/82d15008d1f2119cf75cdcab0b80b45b.jpg i.pinimg.com/564x/32/b2/a1/32b2a1b27af00812d6ad2e97283cedd1.jpg i.pinimg.com/564x/01/e2/a6/01e2a682f39376c222b187f284215d92.jpg images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/32500000/MC-2012-marion-cotillard-32532557-500-341.jpg i.pinimg.com/564x/ba/95/d0/ba95d0af357f97c27de6ed6e7f57630a.jpg

I think I'm either classic or soft dramatic... I'm 5"5, slim, with some curves (hips and shoulders kind of match). I like all types of glasses, but I look the best in simple, normal glasses. Not square, or round, but something in the middle. I also like gold or silver frames. 😊
