This is one of the best review videos I have watched! I liked how you covered each color patiently and also showed various combos, considering that you can't try out the shades at places like Target so rely on online swatches! Hope your channel grows. You definitely deserve it!

@@biogirl1381 Yes they are available there together with the new bite eyeshadow quads, silicon sponge, brow lift gel and the brow tool and I saw the new blue light setting spray there too!!! You should order from there because the shipping is faster from Ulta than ELF website, but the only thing Ulta is not carrying at the moment is the lip stains.
These look great, I like the packaging and the fact that they made them in a mini package is awesome. I like it when they make the shades to coordinate with the lip liners. Thanks for the review Steff! 😍💄
Nice new products from elf. I can't wait to see the bite size eyeshadows in action. I've had to stop buying lip products except for balms because I am always wearing a mask. Once the masks come off I might pick up one or two shades to try. I love your hair today. Super cute with the clips. Have you ever done a hair styling video? I've recently got about 9 inches cut off on mine but am struggling to find ways to style it this short.

Hey Steff, you definitely stocked up but Elf is so affordable. That is great the box shows the color bc that makes it easier. I don’t know how you can did all these lip swatches. My lips would be on fire between the liners & lippies. 😂 my fave is fiery red. The minis are super cute & it is very hard for me to use up lip products. FW & have a great day
So far it looks like these are similar to the wet n wild lip stains (which are the best I’ve tried so far), Colourpop made their version but they barely have any pigment so not crazy about their formula… Hoping these are comparable to the wet n wild ones! These glossy lip stains are perfect especially if you wear aligners because since they are mostly transfer proof… it doesn’t get on your teeth! Also great if you’re a video content creator! Can’t tell you how many times I’ve filmed only to discover during editing that I had lipstick on my teeth the whole time! 🙈 You did such a thorough job! Very helpful!! And congrats on 10K Steff!! You did it and deserve it! 🎊🎈🥳

Yay! I went to Ulta to see if these were in stock in-store, but not yet. However, Ulta had the CP lipstain Red Apple which was sold out on CP's website, so I got that to add to the ones I just ordered from Black Friday. How would u say the elf lipstains are compared to Colourpop's in terms of setting time and staining consistency? I like the CP lipstains so far (just tried them today). Definitely not a replacement for lipstick, but I really like them bc they seem to be the best solution to having color while wearing a mask! I tried the Maybelline 24 hr Inks (cracks and so hard to remove!) and the Ink Crayons (comfy, but still some transfer and such bright colors), but didn't like them enough over my CP lip oils or chapsticks. The Crayons were ok, but they don't have many good toned down colors like the lipsticks/liners I wear (CP lippie in Fab, NYX liner in Soft-spoken, etc.). We went back to in-office full-time and I don't like seeing myself in the restroom mirror (our bldg's particular restroom is one person/time) without any color on my lips (like I'm dead, esp when I do my eyes and then it's unbalanced). Or when I look at my face when I take some sips of coffee/tea. Or when I take a break and walk outside and passersby are far away from me, but can still see me w no mask. Or now when we go shopping or wait in line w masks, but then can take them off to eat if vaccinated or eating outside. So far I like putting the stain on, letting it set a for 5 mins, blotting, and then putting a lip oil over it. Like the Maybelline Crayons, the shades from CP are a seem a bit bright for me so far (I didn't try the Tinkerbell ones tho. Got First Bite and Twice Shy. Big Apple was the exception - bright red for the holidays, lol). Not too big of a deal after blotting, but I think it could still be better. However, some of the elf ones look more of my type of wearable.
I would say they are pretty similar. I think they are also priced similarly as well. I still wear a mask at work about 75% of the time. Now with all this new stuff going on, guess we will need to wear it more often. I have been reaching for lip balm a lot lol!
I totally agree with your entire comment! I wonder if the cp sugar snap is going to stain enough. The only reason I’m still hesitant on getting the cp one is because 1. Bright shades 2. Some of the stains seem to turn a bit pink like the cheap lip stains but idk 🤷♀️

So glad I did bc they were almost gone the following week and they're mostly sold out online. They're wonderful! So much better than CP's lipstains in initial and post-gloss staining color - more natural colors that leave a non-pink stain in the non-pink colors like they should. The stain doesn't last forever if u eat or drink tea/coffee throughout the day, but it lasts a few hours if ur not doing those things. I hope they restock so I can try the other colors. 🤩💄

@@hablahabla6653 So, I couldn't get the lighter ones bc either they weren't put in store or they sold out before I could try them, but I got Coral Cutie (orange), Cinnamon Dreamz (brown) Power Mauve (berry), and Spicy Sienna (red). 1) I would say they're more natural bc they're darker than CP's, they don't leave a neon pink stain behind, and blend in w ur natural lip color more. One of CP's orange ones, Twice Shy, still left a pink stain behind. Elf's do not leave a bright pink stain behind in the non-pink shades. 2) Lip stains are naturally transparent after the gloss fades. Elf's colors blend really well w natural lip colors, but this transparency also means ur natural lip color will determine what looks "natural". My natural lip color is a bit berry toned, so while a lot of reviews on elf's website said Coral Cutie looked straight up orange on them (I assume their lip color is paler than mine), it looks like this beautiful orange-tinged red on me. Power Mauve looks like a red-tinged berry (like it looks like the deeper berry Steph wore in the other shade. But on my sister, who has lighter lips, it did look more bright mauve), Cinnamon Dreamz is a dark chocolate brown (whereas on Steph it looked lighter), and Spicy Sienna is bold red lip on me. 3) The colors darken ~10s after applying them, so the window u see in the case isn't exacty the color becomes on your lips. Based on all that, I wear Coral Cutie and Power Mauves the most. But I'd like to try Basic Beige and Pinkies up when they restock. 👍🏼💕

I like the brighter ones best! It's tough because we are still using masks for 75% of the time, and i use a clear balm basically, unless I'm creating a look for my channel. But great review Steph!👍👍💕💕
Been waiting for a review I use liplinners all over my lips then add a gloss these seem perfect for me I have the new matte bite size palette I love it so much from setting my eyeshadow primer and useing as bronzer it gos so well with my special eyeshadows
Your thumbnail is fantastic 🌟🌟🌟 I like the look of these, especially the lip stains. They seemed to be pretty accurate too - no need for a liner, were they? I'd love if you could do what Mel Thompson used to do with lip liners. She would draw a line (using the new lip liner) at the start of the vid and at the end she would try to rub it off. This would show if it was a decent long wearing liner. For me, I want a liner that is long lasting. I'm really looking forward to seeing the mini palettes, I'm wondering how different they are to their existing palettes. So the lip liners are not glossy. I filled in my lips so you all could see the color better but as I mentioned in the video I don’t typically do that when I do my makeup. The Glossy Lip Stain is, well, glossy. Hope that helps.

What’s the difference between lip liner and lipsticks? I see you just fill the whole lips with lip liners.
