SWATCHING COLOURS and selecting palettes FOR MAKING ART | Understanding Colour series 03

Welcome to video 3 in our understanding colour series.
I am currently on an exploration to improve my use and knowledge of colour in my artwork. In this video I show you how I swatch all my supplies to create colour chips, I then use these to create colour palettes, which I try out in my artwork to see how I feel about them. Enjoy :)

this is so very helpful! I am going to put this into practice with my pencils and neocolors- I did it with my watercolors but never considered doing it with my other supplies. such a feeling of freedom from trying to coordinate from flipping pages back and forth in a swatch book! loving this series you are doing 😊🤗
