- This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to create SVG cut files for Cricut using your Procreate Drawings. After you create your drawing, all you have to do is import it to Cricut to create your DIY die-cut shapes. This video is perfect for beginners. You will need an iPad, an Apple Pen, the Procreate app, Cricut Design Space, and a Cricut Machine (I have Explore Air 2) to draw or design your art. You're welcome. I am so glad that it was helpful to you. Thank you for watching! ❤
Excellent. Thanks. I saw something on RUclips where they used their iPad to scan their Cricut mat and they positioned small pieces of vinyl / different pieces of cardstock on the mat at the same time and it will cut it all in one go - without you needing to 'guess' where it was going to cut x
Yes. I just recently saw that method as well. I will try it soon and maybe I'll do a video about it. Thanks for watching! ❤
this video was cool!
Thank you very much, Antone. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! 💙

Awesome
Thank you very much. 😃❤
Fantastic video!!! Love how calm and step by step you go! I feel confident I can do this now! My only question is since you saved this as a .png file, are png files and svgs the same then?
Thanks for the compliment! ❤ I really appreciate it! SVG and PNG files are both a kind of image format, but PNG is based on pixels and SVG isn't so technically they aren't the same.
loved the video. I am new to this world so my question is, can you print this layers on vinyl and heat press them on a cotton tshirt? if so do you put them together and heat press them at the same time or layer by layer? Thanks so much !!! I just subscribed !!! looking forward to binge watching more of your videos.
You can cut these layers out on vinyl and put them together to heat press them. I would do it layer by layer. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! 💜
Your instructions were GREAT!! I’m such a beginner at this. Have you ever in Procreate made an image also with handwritten text? I’ve drawn an image, then both wrote words on part and erased areas forming words. It looks great when I first save it as a PNG, but when I upload it into Cricut parts of the word disappear or/and merge together. Do you think this could be because I’m doing the entire process on the iPad and not opening the png on my computer?
Thanks for the compliment. I don't know if I fully understood everything you were asking me, but I may do another Procreate/ Cricut video in the future (this time using handwritten text), so I can try to help you with your question. ❤
Question I’m new to procreate but do you have to upload to circuit designer to make an svg if you just want to list the file for sale for others? I’m not trying to make shirts, mugs etc just want to make the files
You don't have to use Circuit Design Space to make SVGs for selling. Just:
Export your Procreate design as a PNG (transparent background).
Use a free online converter like convertio.co/png-svg/ to turn your PNG into an SVG.
Download the SVG and you're ready to rock!
No Circuit Design Space needed. ✨
P.S. if you have any other questions, just ask! We're all here to help.
Can you tell me what kind of table you are using with the stylus. I'd like to get one, but don't know what to get. Thanks!
It's an ipad pro! This app work only on ipad. Not samsung, xiaomi or other brands!
I have an iPad Generation 6. I purchased the Apple Pen separately. It did not come with the iPad.
will this work if i use iron on vinyl?
Yes. You can do this with iron-on vinyl as well. 💜
I just got a machine and design space is not intuitive. This was simple but helpful other tutorials leave out or don’t show steps because they assume that there audience already knows the basics. I know nothing. I need the simple stuff.
Thank you so much for the compliment! That means a lot! I try to make all of my videos beginner-friendly. Thanks for watching! 💜
Same here!
And How can I sell it as svg on Etsy? So the buyer can has also the different layers after buying and downloading ?
I haven't sold anything on Etsy yet, so I am not sure. 💙
No design assistant this time? 🐶 LOL 😂
Not this time. She was booked and busy! 😆🐶
Is there a reason that you email it to yourself instead of adding the 3 files to your camera roll?
I haven't tried to do it that way. I need to try that method and get back to you, but thanks for watching! 💛
Can do this on your phone?
I haven't tried it on my phone, but I don't see why you couldn't if you have both Procreate and the Cricut App.
I emailed mine as png but it came out as one layer instead of 3 🤔 What did I miss?
I'm not sure but someone in the comment section said that you can also save it to your camera roll as well. ❤✨
Watching video RUclips love
💜
💙 Thanks for the love!
