Be warned that the opacity location changed after a recent update. It’s now under the layers. Tap the N on the layer you want to adjust in the layers panel. There is an opacity slider at the top.
A tip that I love is you can actually draw your line, then hold it and Procreate will smooth the line out for you! Lines that are close to straight are a little trickier because it thinks you want a straight line. You can just do different sized sections or retry when this happens
I have been searching and getting discouraged and paying for programs to teach me this and THIS IS HANDS DOWN the most informative video. Thank you so much!!! ❤
ye--this is exactly what I was looking for. I can't draw (so sad), but was looking for ways to make images my own, love that this can be done procreate. every video Ive seen is geared towards drawing in there, this was perfect. thanks!
You have a great way of explaining things! That just says how great you are as a teacher. I hope you come back to make more videos. I see that your latest videos are 2 months ago. Please make more !
I found this so helpful, I’m considering starting to draw with procreate even though I can’t draw. And this showed me that your creativity is all you need.
Love your video. No one showed this. Everyone just shows themselves making a design (usually a rainbow lol ) or don’t tell How to do this at all for people who aren’t artists like myself. Tysm
Thank you so much, this will help me get my creative juices flowing!!! I want to become fluent in procreate and learning more from your expertise is making me feel 99.9% less lost in procreate!!! God Bless!!! ✝️🌎💞
I don’t even think I’m fluent in procreate... but getting there! Sometimes it’s just about playing around! I learned how to animate yesterday and can’t stop playing!
Wow! This is literally a life changer for me. I have been trying to start an instagram account and include some inspirational digital content but I cant draw save my life! But now I have hope! Thank you so much! If you come across any new ideas, please let us know!
This is a good way to practice and to have fun. But for those who uses art for businesses, you need to be careful with what you copy because this can be considered plagiarism.
Saw your comment in the digital planner group 👍🏻 But I had already found your channel a couple of days ago and subscribed ☺️ I totally disagree that you can’t draw because your drawing are so cute 😄
We are all our own worst critics right? It is so fun that you had already found me, such an interesting journey I have started. Thank you so much for your support!
If it's an image you didn't take yourself, the person who did has the copyright. Anything you see on Etsy or wherever, that uses any kind of art from somewhere else, is usually infringing on that copyright, they just don't get caught, because only the person who does own it can report it to make them stop.
Yeah the only way you're not going to be at risk for copyright infringement is by tracing pics from sites like unsplash that are open copyright but they're real pics. Any drawn art is stealing.
Or, once you search an image in google, select tools that's underneath the search bar and once the drop down comes up go to usage rights and select creative commons license and those are non-copyrighted images! hope that helps!
Might be said before, it haven’t looked at all comments. Instead of using the wand to bring opacity down, you can also go tho the layer menu, click on the “N” and change opacity there. For me it works easier that way, but might be just me lol 😝
Hello 👋🏼 am new at procreate and am trying to follow the steps which in fact are great. But I was not able to find opacity icon. I have a different list can some one please help me so I can try the drawing. Thank you.
The bar on the left controls how thick your brush is so start by adjusting there. If the smaller setting is still to thick you need to change the brush itself. Check out my clipping mask video because I show how to do that there.
Since no one replied I’ll let you know, these are digital stickers for a digital planner so she wouldn’t print them as they’re just for use on a planner on her ipad
So if i wanted to start a sticker shop that had to do with music/ music artist. Either making stickers of pics from the internet or either re drawing them on procreate and changing colors and etc. Is that technically copyright if i change some details around ? Because im not good at drawing to sell my own sticker ideas..
I am not an expert but to me redrawing the exact same thing is prob a copy right issue. If you use pictures as inspiration and change things you are safer.
Unless you can prove that the image you use is used as "parody" it is copyright infringement. From a design stand point it’s pretty gross to steal others images for personal profit. I would avoid it if you are looking to make money. If you are using it for personal things. Have fun.
So... you are telling me I can make stickers out of this? I have traced for years, spending DAYS on a single drawing, mixing countless pictures so it doesn't feel like I robbed someone's hard work, then I am told my work doesn't count and I shouldn't show it to anyone. I have so much art hidden from the world... Thank you.
So glad you mentioned this method for only personal use! 🙂
Be warned that the opacity location changed after a recent update. It’s now under the layers. Tap the N on the layer you want to adjust in the layers panel. There is an opacity slider at the top.
thank you! 😊
Thank you. I was trying so hard to follow the video but it wasn’t making sense 🥴
Thank you, you saved me a lot of time
Thank u!🙏🏾✨

So helpful I walked away knowing 10x more than I new when I first clicked!
I am thrilled you learned so much!

Hi, thank you very much for your tutorial. I have a question: once the job is finished and imported is it possible to change the color in goodnotes?
Thanks for the clear and easy explanation. ^^
That's so cool, this will help me as a guild 😀
Nice tutorial! Thanks for this video. ❤️❤️❤️
This is a good way to practice and to have fun. But for those who uses art for businesses, you need to be careful with what you copy because this can be considered plagiarism.
100% agree! I mentioned that in the video as well. For personal use this is the best. But not something you can then sell.
Very Helpful guide
Glad it was helpful!
brilliant video, thankyou. i feel like would be able to do this.
You totally can! Takes some learning but then if your like me you get hooked to the creators process!
Very helpful! thank you for sharing.

I just subbed! ♥ This video was so informative! Keep up the great work! 🌟
Wonderful tutorial, thank you 👌
How do you know if the image has no copyrights? I wanna start my stickers shop
If it's an image you didn't take yourself, the person who did has the copyright. Anything you see on Etsy or wherever, that uses any kind of art from somewhere else, is usually infringing on that copyright, they just don't get caught, because only the person who does own it can report it to make them stop.
seeker of peace she doesn’t, this is copyright infringement.... just because she changed the pattern on the dog is different!
Yeah the only way you're not going to be at risk for copyright infringement is by tracing pics from sites like unsplash that are open copyright but they're real pics. Any drawn art is stealing.

Thanks a lot🙏🥰
What kind of stylus are you using?
Thank you sooo much! I paid an artist for my characters for my business, but it can get pricey when also paying for commercial use.
Might be said before, it haven’t looked at all comments. Instead of using the wand to bring opacity down, you can also go tho the layer menu, click on the “N” and change opacity there. For me it works easier that way, but might be just me lol 😝
You can also tap on the layer in the layers panel with two fingers and it will switch to changing the opacity
Mine doesn’t have opacity 🥲
I have a question? On the second picture since you recreated it made it your own, would that be something you could use and sell?
If the original creator allow commercial use, u can, if not u can't
I have trouble finding images that I can save to photos. What's the best way to do that?
thank you so much!!!!!
amazing! what pencil do you uss
I use the Apple Pencil - mine is a second generation.
@@MORDesigns very nice! Im just starting to look into digital planners
Can i sell them like that?
Hello 👋🏼 am new at procreate and am trying to follow the steps which in fact are great. But I was not able to find opacity icon. I have a different list can some one please help me so I can try the drawing. Thank you.
Click on the layer on the layer menu and change it there
I can't find the opacity in my iPad pro 😫
Thanks
You explained so well, thank you
When I use calligraphy brush, I am getting very thick line
The bar on the left controls how thick your brush is so start by adjusting there. If the smaller setting is still to thick you need to change the brush itself. Check out my clipping mask video because I show how to do that there.
I always use moniline whatever it’s called lol
What is the digital planner you are using? Is this an app?
how do you print it once your done?
Since no one replied I’ll let you know, these are digital stickers for a digital planner so she wouldn’t print them as they’re just for use on a planner on her ipad
I love this do it all the time easier way press the n
- I don’t see Opacity on my procreate, why?
Junior PDX Go to the layer you want and click the “N”, it should be next to the Checked box and it should be there
Sum. exclusives saw it, thanks

🤝
Me Don't have an ipad or tablet belike:🙂😢
Hack? Hack as in tracing? AKA illegal 🙈
So... you are telling me I can make stickers out of this? I have traced for years, spending DAYS on a single drawing, mixing countless pictures so it doesn't feel like I robbed someone's hard work, then I am told my work doesn't count and I shouldn't show it to anyone. That's a lot of work coral draw has auto trace
Dont like how you draw? No problems just trace the original Drawing And color it yourself
I love this! Thank you!
Very informative, thank you!
