    I’m a little on the older side and when I was growing up procreate wasn’t a thing so it was all on paper or canvas and permanent. I would get upset with myself because a little mistake ruined my project, or so I thought. I never took the time to put the work in to learn. I want you to know that you have inspired me to put more effort into learning how to draw and make art.

    I love the sketching phase when I'm designing! It's rough, but it's fun to get ideas down (quickly or not!) and it's just where my creativity flows the easiest. Refining it with line art and colors is fun to me too, but sketching is my favorite!

    Recently i discovered there is a way to not ruin the resolution when you try to resize or tilt any shape
    - press the select tool (the arrow shape)
    - press the sphere shape the second option from the right then change the interpolation to bicubic
    And watch the magic
    sorry i'm not good at explaining things :p

    I know this is really out of context, but your freckles on your arm are in the same places as mine, and you are the same shade of pale as me, and seeing my qualities from a 3rd perspective feels so soft and familiar. It's like getting to see what others see when they watch me draw.
    It's weird at the same time because I know that it's not me, and you're drawing different things from what I draw. It's like peaking at myself in a different universe.
    Anyways, I hope you continue to enjoy art as much as I do (even if no one ever sees it)
    (PS my head also peaks into frame alllll the time when I film myself drawing, heh)

    Hello, I am relearning how to make digital art to use in my small business. I just got myself a tablet and tried artrage. But the mobile app doesn't have all the features I need to do what I'm looking for. It seems a lot of artists use procreate to make stickers so I will get that soon. One of my hurdles is adjusting to the gap between where I think the pen will draw and where it shows up on the drawing. But I really love filling in color and shading. I used to scan in inked work and use the computer to refine and convert the lines for coloring and shading. I loved your tutorial and will revisit it. Thank you

      That’s so interesting because it’s my least favourite! Although, I really like the actual colouring in stage, but it’s the choosing colours I don’t enjoy. I think it’s because I’m so indecisive 😂

    Thank you YES. The layers make it so confusing for a beginning iPad art person like myself. Other videos have like 30+ layers

    Hi I love this video thank you so much for making it. I’m new to digital art and I’m use to sketching on paper. I’ve been using the technical pen for my outlines but I love the way you’re doing the shadows with the gritty brush. I also see how it looks to have different size lines I like that look too. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

      I’m so glad you enjoyed this video! Another great brush that allows you to have that pressure sensitivity (thicker and thinner lines) is the dry ink brush! That’s a procreate default brush so you don’t need to buy it. It’s worth checking out - I used to use it for all my line art 😍 good luck exploring procreate!

    Hi there! Love the video ❤ couple of questions if anyone can help! How many stickers do you recommend to actually put on the sticker sheets? Also for the layers do you combine ALL of them together before printing them out ?? Thanks so much!!❤❤❤

    I feel the same way, it's scary to show the sketch stage, and lineart is my favorite stage! It cleans it up and then I feel like it's not so bad to look at XD

    • @fizzandflourish
      @fizzandflourish  2 года назад

      Yes - that’s it exactly…it cleans them up and you can finally see how it’s going to look! I’m always scared to share the sketch stage but I think it’s important to show that it’s not going to be perfect straight away!

    I loved this! If you could make a video on how you upload the stickers into the cricut design space, that’s where I get into a bit of trouble and can’t figure it out. Thanks for sharing ♥️

      Yes! I really want to do a follow up video on actually making the stickers - I think I’ll do this tutorial with this sticker sheet so that it’s like a part two! Will get on it soooon 💛💛💛

    I’m still learning procreate. Why did you copy the full canvas when done coloring and then color the same images in on the exact outline? Sorry if this is a silly question. so cute❤

    Thank you for explanation ❤ How did you export the entire page? I want to export to a Book Editor for example.

    • @fizzandflourish
      @fizzandflourish  5 месяцев назад

      If you want to export all the layers so that they can be edited, I would export as a PSD - that way they can access individual layers in photoshop :) if you just want to send to a manufacturer, I export the stickers as a png (so no background) then I export the background separately. Hope that helps!

    22:09 Hi, I tried doing this method of making a layer above the coloring layer and setting it to multiply. For some reason, it doesn’t work to make shadows matching with the colour underneath. Am I missing something?
