This video was captured by a local Las Vegas resident who used his home satellite dish to find the satellite uplink signal from the venue that was being used for the webcast of the show that night. Some anomaly in his settings caused some audio to bleed into the video causing some spots of shimmering but it mostly clears up after The Curtain (With).
This cut of the show varies a lot from the Live In Vegas DVD released in 2002 so it's interesting to see more space in between songs and lots of different shots/angles of this great show. Enjoy

Ive got over 150 shows under my belt and I would have to say these Vegas shows are up there as some my favorite shows ever attended. I also think its up there as some of the best 2 niters ever. Its really the complete package. The setlists is just ridiculous. I think 8 bustouts in 2 nites. First ever Walfredo played in the US. Special guest Kid Rock. Even some of the songs that werent bustouts back then but are rare to hear now were played. And at the end of the day its about playing and they were on point all the way though. They pulled out all the stops and even though the Shoreline shows were the tour enders, these to me were their tour ender/goodbye shows cause thats what it felt like. I was lucky enough to do 20/21 shows this tour. I do not regret one minute of it. As bias as this sounds, this is the greatest band ever.

Erin Ward no doubt Erin. That Saw It Again is one of the highlights of that set for me. The comeback of Spock's too. Some history in the making shit right there.

The curtain with does a small excursion into the song rift played in a very slow way but I recognized the melody instantly.
With came before Rift. They stopped playing the With section in the 90s because it was added to Rift.

The end of Maze gets me EVERYTIME! (and Fish always smiling when Trey flubs) The guy at 32:40, feelin the tension about to release! Was supposed to go to these shows, didnt make it. Kick my self over that decision all the time. Good shows!~

Man, coming back to this stuff, everything was played so much faster than they do now. These OG versions almost sound weird because of how fast they are.

Ok, you guys I was at both Vegas shows. This was a great show. Ya, we got the vacuum. However, I felt the Friday night set was way better on a performance level. And, a Kid Rock encore! After the Friday gig they played at the House of Blues and probably stayed up all night partying. So they were burning the candle at both ends before this show. Remember, this was the hight of Trey's opium addiction - which did give us some amazing shows during the Farmhouse tour. I was a little surprised when they released this gig on DVD. BTW - the Shoreline gigs before the hiatus were amazing. Your thoughts...
