2 People Shot Near Homeless Encampment in Venice, CA | 09/14/22 |

Two victims were shot in Venice, CA on Wednesday 09/14/22 at approximately 11:00 PM. The incident took place near homeless tents on Hampton Dr near Rose Ave, just down the street from Golds Gym. One victim was shot in the chest and another victim was shot in the leg. The victim shot in the chest was rushed to UCLA hospital. A man was seen fleeing the scene Northbound from Hampton and Rose. Initial reports say witnesses say the man may have been wearing a suit or uniform of some sort.
