Idk if it's just one guy or one small team of people, but look at this people. This guy(s) managed to provide more for WC3 Reforged in over a year than Triple A Company Blizzard could over a span of a few years.
Reforged wasn't made by Blizzard. It was made by a small foreign outsource company LemonSky during harsh deadlines
@@almas4663 That's informative, I didn't know that. But I still stand by what I said. After all, WC3 was beloved by many and Blizzard should have known this was something that, after a series of fk ups from them, this game had to succeed on all fronts. But not only did it not, it managed to fk up the original state of the game to its current state. So I'll still put Blizzard for the full blame.
@@PenguFKnight I still think that Blizzard did the right thing by focusing on new projects rather than betting all they have on a success of one remaster, especially in times when RTS genre is a niche.
When you're a big company, you can't afford risks - cause the state of the company and thousands of workers and investors rely on your decisions.
Plus, I've been following the official Blizzard forum for two years while waiting for the game to launch, and most of the users were threatning Blizzard to downgrade the graphics because realistic ones like in Quenching or Reforged Demo would be too much for professional tournaments.
They kept talking bout how they don't need Cinematic cutscenes cause, quote "It's RTS, not Witcher III!",
kept talking how we don't need new lore-accurate missions (like Sylvana finding her body to become an undead from banshee) because "WoW is shit and Warcraft shouldn't have nothing in common with it)
@@almas4663 no, lemonsky only worked on unit models. the light effect, interface, dialogues were all done by blizzard workers who were chased by harsh deadlines and low budgets

Mixed feelings. It looks better and more serious, but looks darker which kinda gives feeling like game was made with starcraft shaders, which removes cartoonish style by removing bright colors. And units is like become more harder noticable than it already was in reforged.
But it still impressive work.
now we got 2.01, and lightness is adjustable.
Awesome! Especially the materials, lights and reflections! It looks like the mood becomes more dark but that is a design decision I can accept. What a pity that the community does more for this game than it's original publisher. Congrats to V2.0! I hope the original publisher sees this and gives this game some happy moments in the future.

AT LAST! I FOUND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM! It is in the folder: Shaders >> vs >> terrain.bls. The Online 1-24 version does not contain this ''vs'' folder, while the Manual version does, this folder is apparently responsible for the slight flickering that happens in terrain like Lordaeron Summer like the map (2) Echo Islands , specifically in the ''no grass terrain'', slight flickering occurs when you make camera and zoom movements such as scrolling down and up with the mouse wheel. Something that I have also noticed is that in the Manual version this ''no grass terrain'' looks more detailed and with cracks, while the online version 1-24 looks flatter and without many details. If you want more information I can Send you my screenshots, but I would like to know where I can send you this information in case you require it.
ADDITIONAL: I also think I have encountered the problem of the error when opening custom campaigns such as Chronicles of the Second War: Tides of Darkness (which in its official description quotes ''The Campaign is not compatible with Quenching mod''); Apparently there is a file that is responsible for this, I simply omitted to copy that single file and the personalized campaigns worked perfectly in every way.

In the end graphic is highly beautiful but if i am not mistaken this first chapter from campaign night elf when plagues are located on map i think you should add more plagues because i seen like usual landscape night elf without plagues and without destroyed lands

Very good mod, but very difficult to install due to language barrier. I had to search for comments to understand how to install. You should do in a the future a guide how to install it in English and have it in the description.

It looks pretty bland, or maybe this is just a foliage issue? Just seems underwhelming when compared to lush tilesets of forest or the impressive city tilesets.
Maybe add more orange to it, the whiter sands make it hard to identify units

I like version 1.60 the most.
i get screen flickering and shader problems when using the goldmine i turned of the ''advanced shader'' and the problem goes away but thats also a huge downgrade to the graphics
i just want to play without the screen flickering without turning off the ''advanced shader'' option please help

Начиная с версии QM 1.7, в варкрафте очень темно, и появились непонятные белые ауры вокруг юнитов и зднай. Как по мне вам нужно смотреть на mortal kombat 11 у них с варкрафтом похожая стилистика, у MK11 хорошо поработали со светом и шейдерами. Как по мне вы к этому результату были близки в QM 1.1

Any word on when hotkey functionality will be repaired? The 'Hotkey' section of the mod is not working in the latest update. I am unable to change or set any keys within the 'grid' layout.

Mis reyes, este mod 2.0 pide algún requisito extra o mas potencia del pc, para que se vea tal como esta en el video? porque lo instale y me da errores tener los shaders activados y sin activarlos no se aprecia los gráficos(aclaro no se si quizá sea porque ya pide una grafica mejor de la que tengo), o me sigo quedando en la 1.9 que con shader me va bien, hasta que salga una próxima update.

Anyone else getting a crazy amount of fog in v 2.0? I set the "Fog" option to off in the general tab but it doesn't seem to affect the game and it'll default back to on every time I reopen the client. I also don't see a fog option in the config.ini
Nevermind. Turning off advanced shaders fixed it, should anyone else encounter this.

Help! In Manual Setup there is a strange problem that only occurs there, in the floor texture of certain terrains such as Lordaeron Summer it starts to flicker, BUT that does not happen when I download the 1-24 packages online, but unfortunately they are offline (Line 1- 2: 1-18,24) and I can't download them again, for some reason those packages install all the textures correctly without flickering, but in Manual Setup that problem occurs, please I want to download from Online Package mode, help me!
if so maybe try to download the complete pack and manually set it?
@@jixedchen5985 Yes, I did it, I copied it to Retail and followed the steps but the flashing continues, but strangely that does not happen when you install from packages 1-24, everything that is ''manual'' the flashing happens. I even reinstalled Warcraft III again, but the same thing happens.
@@jixedchen5985 NEW UPDATE: Just now I asked my boyfriend who also has Warcraft Reforged (He also installed it from package 1-24) to send me his RETAIL files in .zip, and I just copied that to my computer and IT WORKS! no more FLICKERS! (example: it happens in Echo Islands), apparently your Manual Version of your download page may have certain corrupt files that do not work well in certain terrains such as Lordaeron Summer. I don't know if you require that I send you some type of proof so that you can corroborate my problem.
@@edsonsiraog1721 I will look into it, but make sure you choose the right version set and graphic card in basic settings. and would you mind tell me your graphic card info?
AND if you chose the right warcraft version and graphic card type doesn't help, disable shaders to get rid of glitches.

I got a problem and is when the Advance Shader is "on" the game look with only 3 colors, purple, blue and white, help pls T.T
sorry being busy these days, it happens in two possibilities, one is you might use 1.32 instead of 1.33, and second is the file might be corrupted. if nither work for you, shot down the shader function.

@@user-bj6hr8dt5p are you using 1.32? it kind of like 1.32 warcarft or file corrupted, try redownload things see if it works
@@jixedchen5985 I use 2.0 As of QM 1.7, Warcraft is very dark, with unknown white auras around units.
Anyone know why when I enable Advanced Shaders in the console...I get everything in pink or weird haze. All the other options are enabled and working fine? I tried everything and can't seem to make it work properly. I use a 5600X and a 3060 Ti.

@@draackon Depends on what you define lag. I'm playing 4k on my tv , constant 60fps...no lag
@@Catani84 it caused by legacy shaders did not removed completely or update issues, try to delete completely and reinstall might solve it.
Had the issue initially with QM 1.9 when eveything was dark...seemed like it was night time all the time. So, I thought that by uninstalling it and upgrading to QM 2.0 the issue might go away. Well...it went away, but the problem came back differently by turning everything pink. I doubt it will work since I initially reinstalled it twice thinking I did something wrong and the problem never went away. But I'll try this tonight..I'll do a clean install on the whole game plus the mod, and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the reply.

try to remove the older vision completely, this happens because the older files are completely inflicting with 1.33.
