we can confirm that some of those spells will be tweaked "visually" based on feedback, the purpose of the video was to really showcase the balance aspect and the functionality of the spells.

It's a Mage. Back in to Original Warcraft II they had six spells and abilities. The Death Knights of the Horde also had six spells and abilities.
@@shawnwarrynn8609 The unit I mentioned appears at 2:48. It has the animations of a spell breaker, has a shield and polearm of some kind and looks like it fights in close quarters.
@@OwlPhobeActually that's the Mage's robe being spread out and his Staff. The animation makes them look kinda like a shield and polearm from an angle.
this small group of devolopers put more effort in making this game than blizzard does today....im proud of you guys
Amazing. Death knight needs more work though imo
Yeah, the Death Knights are awesome, but they need touching up like moving mouths. And the dialogue needs improvement.

Feel of Warcraft2 and just as important as the sprites.
I've watched the first four levels of the orc campaign and I'm totally blown away by how you guys have improved upon the original. This project is, without a doubt, the greatest custom campaign I've seen so far since Sagi's Arthas campaign. I hope to play it for myself soon.
Awesome! A little feedback for the flame shield: maybe add an elipse similar to the Molten Armor effect in WoW. Right now it looks a bit like a harmful spell instead of a protective one.

If remmeber flame shield is both ofensive and defensive since it harms both enemy units and your own kinda like lighting shield works in wc3
I have always thought that the acid green thing on the ogre's Eye spell is some kind magic flame, but here it looks like punk hair 😄

Personally, I think adding some hovering and twisting Ghosts effect (like the Undead's Haunted Gold Mine and Spirit Tower in Warcraft III Classic) to the top of the Whirlwind would be more fitting for the Death Knights' spell icon and description.😄😄😄

I think unfortunately the Death Knight voice set need some improvements and you should add some particle effects to the paladins eyes, SD particle effects look great so try to use any of those

Personally I think it would be cooler and more novel if the spellcasters werent copied 1 on 1, skill-wise.
It could be but that would interfere with balance/mechanics and strategies etc. what kind of spells would you suggest to be replaced and added instead?

Hey, glad to see the project coming along nicely! I was just wondering, now that Warcraft Rumble is coming out, and considering how you smartly used character voices where you could from Heroes of the Storm before, if you were planning on potentially implementing any of the sound effects or voices to be released in Warcraft Rumble, too 🤔

Is the tornado of souls ability a channeling attack or is it like the original where you can just spam a whole bunch if whirlwinds and run away? Kind of sucks if death knight has TWO channeling abilities.

Pretty cool. Two things I think could be improved: Paladins and Ogres are wayy too big. And it's cool to have the same sounds as the old game but honestly they are a bit jarring with the higher quality sounds, and also they are very loud.

What is that thing on the Ogre Magi's back? Part of the toga, has teamcolour and the top is dark.
Looks like a uncovered hood... or a pony tail ? 😅
One more thing. I love the visual style overall but I think that for these particular remakes, you should lean in more toward classic the wow style than modern wow even though I love the synthesis overall. The Paladin helmet for example leans a bit too much towards the really exaggerated modern wow style. If you removed the wings it would be perfect.
WC3 and Classic WOW had a very particular kind of stylized art direction mixed in with some realism. You can really see that in places like Stormwind, Shadowfang Keep and Scarlet Monastery. The Footman armor from the WC3 cinematic is a perfect example in regards to gear or what you see in the briefing room of WC1.
Wc2 sounds :) Looks cool, like something connected with Wc2. Flame shields looks a little bit odd; Death and Decay is ugly and looks like... I don't know, a jacuzzi bath with stars? :D Everything else is a fine work.
Maybe it's only because it's a showcase but I feel like these spells are doing too less dmg? Like Death Coil at 1:52 dealt almost no dmg to that Paladin. Good job anyway!

It would be funny if they added the ‘toasty’ from mortal kombat when the death knight uses his death and decay spell but only a small percentage of the time or if it did high damage. 😂

I feel like the retro sound effects from WC2 make it a little weird, since the graphics are really good and all the models are detailed and high quality. Doesn't really go well with the sound effects.

Death Knight VA is a bit distracting. While the VA has a good voice, there is a very strong accent. It sounds Eastern European so I think it would work very well for Draenei but I'm used to hearing Orcs speaking American English.
funny thing is that the DK VA is a native english dude.
Nyeah it's sounds just like a pure American making a cool deep voice.
Please add a auto heal option to the Paladins.

Several spells were shown to be auto cast; the death knight's raise dead, the ogre magi's bloodlust, and the mage's slow.

that's how they sounded in warcraft 2... they're epic
Why not use their original voice lines? I don't mean disrespect towards the people that put in the time and effort to make these, but they sound worse than the originals.
