BEST Restaurant In Boca Chica | Boca Marina | Dominican Republic

- We finally got the opportunity to visit a restaurant that we've had on our list for a while. The name of the restaurant is Boca Marina. It is located in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. I am not a big fan of Boca Chica the city itself but I have to say this is probably one of the best restaurants, I've experienced in terms of atmosphere and ambiance. The food was good too. But the vibe of the restaurant makes up for any of the shortfalls of this restaurant which I did not experience during my first visit. We had an absolutely amazing time. So the next time that you are in Dominican Republic, Boca Chica, or the Santo Domingo area to be exact this restaurant is a must-try. Enjoy!

That's my favorite restaurant in all of the Dominican Republic, along with, Neptunos, St Tropez and El Mesón de la Cava. I always stay right across the street
So far I've visited 2 out those 4. I have Neptunos on my list for next time.
I had my wedding there in Boca Marina in 2018 and rented out the location. It was the best!!
We held our wedding reception here on 8/28/21 for 12 people I spent around $400 for food and drinks. This doesn’t include the fee for reservation for tables, flowers, cheap champagne and tip. The view is crazy at night time, the lights in the water is beautiful..
I ate here last year in September. I enjoyed it!
I stumbled across this place my last evening in the Dominican Republic. All I can say is I love this country. My hotel was right across the street. I had some delicious Paella.

Hi Norberis, the trio of restaurants in that area Boca Marina, Neptune's, and Pelican. I've eaten at all three and Boca Marina and Neptune's would be my 2 favorite. I was married at Pelican and the wedding was great but not a fan of the restaurant.
I don't know if you ever tried the fry fished on the beach but it's good and less expensive of course. Definitely at the opposite end of the beach from Boca Marina where the locals are.

Oh Lord, that place looks like Heaven, compared to the countrified rinky dinky spots around my area. lol The fried fish looked AMAZING. My mouth is literally watering looking at it. Point blank, wow I really got to find a way to take a vacation to D.R, because apparently I'm missing out on the fun :(

The entire time I've been here I've never gone to a restaurant in Boca chica😂😂 i just walk down to the beach and put my stuff up on the lifeguard stand and bring food from the ole down the street🤷🏾♂️

@@NorberisR Yes most people go to the normal spots, where you get more for your money....but there's a couple of private country clubs that feels like your in Miami....if you know someone with a membership, check out Club Naco ....they have a couple of spots, if you want to feel exclusive....
I can't wait to get past these pandemic restrictions so I can go back to the DR. I've been to the DR three times and I loved it. Thanks for the great travel tips. I would like to know if the Boca Chica area is safe to walk around, specially for foreigners since I've heard so many different stories both positive and negative. Yummy, that food had me craving.
I've been to Boca Chica many times, and I've walked around at night and I mean late at night and never had an issue. They usually close down the beach side street, and people are out dancing, eating and having a great time... the police station is actually 2 blocks from where all the fun is...
There are no restrictions to come to DR.
@@NorberisR that’s right, that’s why I love y’all. The restrictions are on the way back to the US like getting tested before flying back which would be pretty bad for me because of my strict job.

Boca Marina is an upscale restaurant with nice, private views....not cheap but overall worth the privacy.....been there many times, especially when i don't want to bother with vendors ......

I’m from Boca chica, and I thought Neptuno was the best. I guess Boca marina took the spot now. They have been battling for years.
I've been hearing people talk about Neptuno, I guess I'll have to try this spot too.
That is a place I've been wanted to take my wife for a special dinner.
