Nice setup. What made you go with the Haltech vs any other ECU? I was looking at the 7'' BTI screen that slides into the OEM Navigation unit vs having it in the cluster. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks
@@htrspsupra2102 Thanks. My friend recommended it and had it in one of his car, and my tuner likes Haltech the best out of all ECUs, & I got it brand new local for under retail so it just made sense. And I got the iC7 because it just works better with the Haltech ECU. And I got the iC7 because I like how everything is centered right in front of you, instead of having to look at the OEM cluster then look to the right at the BTI and it would be harder to focus on both in my opinion. But it is cool how you can put it in the factory navigation unit.. just not too sure if the BTI has as good screen resolution as the iC7. And Haltech is consistently coming out with updates every month almost to make things easier.
@@TheIS300Kid Thanks for the reply and I honestly don't blame you at all for going with the Haltech. A few of my buddies run the 2500 Elite and swear by it. I'm familiar with BTI and that's why I was leaning towards that. I was considering removing the OEM cluster and doing something similar as your setup. You've done a great job on your build and I'm going a similar route with a new GTE short block.
Not sure why this popped my feed, but nice work! Imma subscribe for sure.
