Ok. For me it’s not hard to see. I don’t watch RUclips on phones. I watch on large displays. And it’s 4K so just zoom in on the video with your fingers if you are not watching on a large display.
I had no issues because I'm using 4k but he's got a point. You should record with less dpi so the elements and text in the videos aren't extremely small. 4k is nice, but most people aren't using it still when it comes to computer displays.
Hi, I don't currently have a kindle but thinking about buying one. I heard that you can have a audiobook on Kindle. So if you own the audiobook version and the normal kindle version do those come up as 2 separate books in your library or comes up as 1 and syncs up where you left of? I'm thinking about pirating my books to get the files then transferring my books via calibre but I'm just curious if it's possible to do audiobooks as well and if they sync with the normal kindle text version. I don’t have audiobooks in Calibre but I know that you can choose in the settings to merge them into one record in the database. Same as I show in this video with different ebook formats into one record. I also know that you can never get them to sync where you left of. That doesn’t work.

Mobi is an old format that doesn’t support the latest standards of formatting. That’s why Amazon recommends you to use epub now when transferring the books. They convert it to the KFX format though but that is not something you will notice. Mobi doesn’t support that

Any suggestions on how to transfer a digital amazon kindle purchase to caliber? I'm unable to do so with the new kindle version and the old one does not allow me to download it to the linked library anymore :(
I didn't connect to the internet with my ereader for a while, I did it just now, and what happened was that with the new update (new graphical outlook and everything, very nice), it also massively complicated my library. Before the update I simply transferred files from Calibre to my Kindle and it would display first name last name for the authors, but SORT by last name. Now it does sort by last name, but displays "last name, first name" which I find immensely annoying. Is there any way to get it to display first name last name on kindle but sort by last name as on the Calibre library on the pc?

I could not see the “send to” bottom anymore? I tried lots of things without success. There is a new layout since an upgrade, but it should not mean that I cannot send via cable. I don’t know my e-mails anymore and I can’t find codes for Amazon- any good ideas? I will be very happy to get help. Thanks a lot - kind regards Tina

Then you must do something wrong. Maybe they are DRM protected? Or maybe you have the mail server settings wrong? Try send them from you phone or iPad to your kindle.
@@svartling yep they are not in the desktop app but I found them in the calibre plug in directory so I will download the plug in file then do add plug in from file.

I believe it’s the windows app’s fault and not yours. Covers works on my Mac, iPhone, iPad and Kindle Paperwhite when sending from Calibre. I don’t use Windows so I can’t test for you though. But it sounds like a Windows Problem.

Do these all go into the kindle app as documents though and not books? On kindle web version it shows as documents when I send epubs.
Yes as documents. But that doesn’t matter really. Everything is in total sync on all devices
Do the newer kindle devices use EPUB? My wife's only uses MOBI. She just got a new one I haven't gotten to set up for her yet.

Other reasons could be that your computer doesn’t recognize your kindle. Do a restart of your computer and kindle.

Yeah Kindle is better than Kobo. I have both. It sounds more and more as it’s a Windows problem.
