G'day Luke, I've been home for a few hours, having returned from a get together up at Dunolly , had a great time as usual, but right now im stuffed. And I reckon around the time this vid was posted we were all sitting in a circle trying to talk over the top of each other, it was great! Hope you returned home safely from this current weekend, Yep! It drizzled rain all the way home non stop, that was a lot of fun too,"NOT!" The couch has never felt so comfortable, it was calling me from the time i pulled in the driveway, And being that im an agreeable bloke, I answered the call. Thank you and the family for another weekend of friendship, fellowship and shared experiences. Worth its weight in gold! Cheers and thankyou! Hooroo!
Great seeing the family camper on debut, and head rig, Luke. A happy memory of our 10 person tent the family had, and years later, back out of retirement, took with friends to a bush techno festival, it helped produce relationships that went on to have kids. That's a good tent! Ha ha! It was a flash bit of kit, but took an army of sweaty lads and lasses to put up and take down. Long since, many holes and spiders, unusable, but remains many metres of waterproof repair rolls, so much I can make another, or build our own pop-up & out, on a trailer! Your solution seems most ideal, but a big but lightweight material strung over the trailer and wagon, tied off to the trees, to keep a large patch freer from sun and rain, if stationed a couple of days, the minimum compared to the fuss of a tent, and inevitability of getting wet if it's raining. Andrew may want to widen the dugout to back in a caravan? Portaloo annexe, plan that in, ventilation! Too hot in the sun, we stayed months in a caravan. Again, flysheet over to keep off sunlight. Happier camping, and good luck to all the family!
Sorry i wouldn't be able to join you tonight. Taking overseas family to Phillip Island, will have to watch it at a later dates. Take care and stay safe mate.
