    Nice it worked, just a tip for people who are doing this:
    - If your internet browser does not load to the website, make sure to check your internet connection and test the connection. If it dosen't work then what I did was unplug it and plug it in a different outlet and somehow this works (no clue why.)
    - This method of downloading also works with a 1gb sd card i got from my wii.
    - If you are unsure of what you did , do not panic. The major reason why some players leave wii u is because of failing to mod there wii u. I understand this clearly that you are hyped on showing your mods to the other online or your personal gain but patience is key. Make sure to follow and guide and watch the video. I had to even uninstall the entire tutorial downloads off and restart again 3/4th of the way just to make sure. Then it was successful, thank you and see you guys around with your coool mods!

    I have a couple of questions after following this guide a year later. Some things may have changed, so I could use some advice.
    - After the Wii U boots, I get a yellow screen (instead of red) warning me that updates haven't been disabled. This screen gives the option to disable them directly by pressing a button. That's what I did, and the warning no longer pops up. Is this a new feature that has obsoleted the need for installing Ufdiine?
    - I have my games backed up to a FAT32 drive. Is it possible to load Mocha_fat32 by default, or at least disable the "Format Drive?" nag popup at boot so it doesn't accidentally get formatted? I'm migrating from CBHC and it was a problem there too, but I was kinda hoping there was a more elegant solution available now since it's been several years since I last tinkered with it.

    Im considering changing from regular haxchi to tiramisu and i was wondering, i have the homebrew launcher as a channel on the wii u main menu. When i uninstall haxchi do i just leave the homebrew launcher as is or do i uninstall that also?

    I have Haxchi installed (Using Brain Age DS) and even after uninstalling it from Data management, the SD card keeps loading to the Homebrew Channel :(. Hold B or X or whatever does not get into the Tiramisu environment
    turns out i accidentally overwritten the payload file.

      I had the same issue and the way I fixed it was downloading the most recent files of Tiramisu because these files are outdated. After I replaced the files then it worked first try. I hope this helps

    I modded mine forever ago and I think I formatted the SD Card or something, it's missing for sure. All I have is Haxchi and Homebrew launcher that just shows bubbles and does nothing... How screwed am I? I don't even know what I did to mod it besides downloading brain age. It's also asking me to update my firmware now, should I??

    • @mariusmika
      @mariusmika  Месяц назад

      what happens when you try to launch the homebrew app (not the haxchi one)? Does your Wii U give u an error telling you to turn off the console? If it does, then you‘re probably fine. And what exactly does the haxchi app do?
      You can try getting all the haxchi files back on your sdcard which should make it work again. It’s probably no big deal, just missing files. But I definitely wouldn’t update.

      If you had coldboot haxchi installed you wouldn‘t have to Launch haxchi after every boot. BUT Look for a red Icon that says „do not delete“ on you Home Menu. If its there then you have/had it installed. Otherwise you should just have normal haxchi like me

    I don’t have haxchi as an app I can launch but I do have the homebrew launcher. When booting on the gamepad where you see your recently used apps in the QuickStart menu there is haxchi but when i click on it, the homebrew launcher opens. There is also no red „do not open“ app, so do I just need to uninstall the homebrew launcher?

    • @mariusmika
      @mariusmika  5 месяцев назад

      I have seen haxchi look like the homebrew launcher before but I don‘t know how that worked. I remember it doing different things when pressing different buttons on the gamepad while launching it.
      If you cannot launch homebrew without opening the "homebrew launcher" (probably haxchi) first, then you probably don’t have coldboot haxchi installed.
      I can’t tell you for sure because I don’t know how or where you got it from but I think a channel called "GameInCanada" (or something like that) had videos on the homebrew launcher styled haxchi a few years ago. Maybe try looking there to find out what exactly you have installed on your console.
      I‘m sorry I can’t give you a better answer on this but I am not as deep in the wii u homebrewing community anymore. It could be as easy as just uninstalling it but please don’t count me on that.

    • @mariusmika
      @mariusmika  7 месяцев назад +1

      haxchi is outdated and not supported by most homebrew. Tiramisu (or Aroma) is much newer and supports the old homebrew channel just like haxchi did. But you can do do much more.
      a few examples:
      - you don’t need to boot into haxchi every time you want to load a homebrew app from your homescreen (cfw is booted automatically when turning on the console)
      - you can use plugins (to connect any type of controller for example
      - with aroma you don’t even need the homebrew channel anymore since all your homebrew is displayed on the homescreen
      I hope this clears things up for you a little. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. :)

    hey, here's a question, how do i upgrade from mocha cfw to tiramisu?

    • @mariusmika
      @mariusmika  11 месяцев назад

      this depends on what type of mocha cfw you’re running.
      *Mocha CFW (Indexiine)*
      go to the Uninstall Indexiine page to uninstall Indexiine.
      *Mocha CFW (Online Exploit)*
      you do not need to do anything
      you can then follow the tutorial normally and skip the haxchi uninstalling part. But make sure to have wiiu.hacks.guide/#/ open next to the video! :)
