  • Wheat harvest has been slow to get moving; poor drying conditions keeping the moisture higher than it should be.
Located in south central North Dakota, we grow variety crops (barley, rye, durum, wheat, oats, corn, soybeans, flaxeed) and run simmental/angus/saler mixed cattle herd. Always looking for ways to improve the operation and what I can do to improve the soil I farm. My name is Brooks, and I hope you can learn something and maybe I can learn something from you.

Keeps showering every couple days here. Frustrating trying to get at harvest. Gets almost ready then it showers or rains. Raked greenfeed this afternoon, now it’s giving me a real light shower. No baling tonight I guess. 🤷‍♂️👍🍻

My gosh 3 inches is a lot but 6 inches is something else. A lot of hopping around fields for you. Hopefully your bin gets moved so you can move on with harvest.

Relying on other people or companies is a nightmare and all it take is a simple glitch to screw everything up
