I never thought such an honest yet so informative can be so entertaining at the same time. The best vacuum review youtube channel. This is no longer just a review video. It's an educational one. It's like TED talk video about vacuums.

I bought the Hoover ONEPWR Bagged Upright based on your praise about a year ago and it's been serving me well so far. It's great to see valuable review content can still exist in an environment flooded with paid reviews and terrible listicles. Hope to keep seeing more from you!

Thanks for the kind words glad you like your little Hoover. I was going to get rid of mine after the review but liked it so much that I've kept it around for quick pickups. I just changed the bag in it last week because it had gotten full , despite not using it as a primary vacuum.

In the last 6 months I’ve tested Samsung jet 75,90 bespoke jet, shark, some other brands as well cause our Miele is done.. all of them I returned.. it was frustrating cause 95% of RUclips channels recommended them. Never ever and so glad that I found this channel.. you are doing a great job!

Checked on the Lindhaus with a local dealer. At this point in my life the vacuum would outlive me and and wouldn't be worth me purchasing it. Wish I was younger.

I am a recovering Shark user. I just had a 6 month old $500 shark vacuum fail in spectacular fashion and they told me that despite it having a 5 year warranty the part I needed wasn’t covered and would cost me $85. I told them to shove it and threw it out.

I recently found your channel and am enjoying the content. Strange I know, but being the owner of a Golden Retriever AND a Lab, vacuums have always been a quest for a better solution. I know, Riccar is not your favorite, but we invested in an upright and canister because of the strong motors years ago. They have serviced us well. But stick and robot vacs are a challenge. I don’t want to haul out a full sized battery for quick cleanup. Pet hair is a major challenge in our 75% hardwood home. Cutting hair CONSTANTLY off of rollers is a pain. I’d like a traditional stick cordless vac that is hair and pet friendly. I see your Lindhaus review but wonder about pet hair on the roller and clogging. What do you recommend for this specific challenge? What do you think of the newer Miele HX2 cat and dog?

I went looking for the lindhaus but found the Riccar supralite instead..im almot afraid to find out why it did not make this list, but at this point i am very happy with my purchase...It's similar the the Oreck in this review in that: its light, has a huge hepa bag, a large 50 min battery, powerful enough for high pile carpet, and has an old fashioned proven design...a 4 year warranty..2 on the battery and every purchase comes wit 2 free services...
It keeps you connected to a vac n sew shop.. for the price of a dyson....but hey, maybe Performance Reviews will use this comment to warn others to beware..afterall, he is the the experienced technician with years in the industry that know his s*** (stuff)

Do you have any experience or advice for buying second-hand vacuum? I guess look for models with sturdy build, easy to repair and plenty of replacement parts but I wonder if there are ways to judge if the motor is still good. Or if there are quick things to look for.

So I ordered one of those Hoover Onepwr HEPA vacuums the bagged one. Coming from a Shark P50 Ion. I know you hate Shark. So this is gonna deep clean WAY better right? And also keep the dust out of the room? Kinda worried as my kid has a tracheostomy tube. I have a few HEPA air purifiers as well.

I own a lupe and have done so for about 2 months so i can comment on it, i find it works really well on carpet and agitates well, but the floor head is ‘floored’ the hose connecting it sometimes restricts its movement and will lift off the carpet when lowering the machine, it also helps if the carpet is level so it makes good seal. My main criticism is that it is noisy especially on high. But i prefer it to any Dyson and have owned a few in the past.

I bought the Hoover OnePwr HEPA bagged cordless you reviewed and loved it till it quit under warranty. When I called Hoover they said they were sending instructions for me to take it apart, which they never did. I had registered the warranty with them online. The usual advice on products under warranty is to not do anything yourself, but they repeated that it was okay.
I think there is probably a clog. Any advice as to what I should try next? I don’t have any other vacuum except a battery powered sweeper.
    Thanks for your video.

    • @PerformanceReviews

Most of the machines in the simplicity lineup now are rebranded machines off Alibaba. The s65 is no different there's nothing special about itother than that you're paying double for something that you could get elsewhere with a different name on it. If you're going to go cheap I'd recommend Hoover.

If I may say something in the Triflex's defense...
Take, for example, Toyota. One of the things that Toyota gets knocked for is being behind other car manufactures when it comes to implementing new technologies. That said, part of the reason for this is because they like to more thoroughly vet their tech before mass introduction into the market, which is what has helped Toyota establish themselves as a go-to brand for reliability. If you watch Scotty Kilmer's channel (mechanic of 50+ years) you may know where I am going with this.
To help illustrate this, look at the problems Ford is currently having with the Ford Bronco. Sure, the modern Bronco may make a good first impression when compared to, say, the 4Runner, another off-road focused, body-on-frame SUV whose current generation began waaaaaaay back with the 2010 model year, but I'm willing to bet a number of Bronco owners wish they picked up a 4Runner given the engine problems and recalls the Bronco has had so far. Reference Scotty Kilmer's channel for more info on the Bronco situation.
With this said, I'm guessing that Miele made reliability over performance a priority when introducing their first stick vacuum to market for first impressions sake, so I'm honestly thinking of giving the Triflex a chance, even if it means older technology.
