I don't remember other trunks having that magnetic closure, it could be because this is meant as a shoulder bag, so it helps prevent items from falling out if you accidentally bump it

The base price is less in Paris because of import duties for leather goods, even if HK has no sales tax. Different product categories may be different though, so the pricing difference doesn't apply for all (imported) goods.
These bags were made in such limited quantities if hard to tell if someone just made a bunch of fakes in different designs. Was just curious because I would totally go looking for this hard box clutch in the canvas if I did know that Louis Vuitton did indeed make it.

I wouldn't necessarily say good investment TBH, because it wasn't a hyped collaboration and the order was open to just about anyone who could put a deposit on it. It's my holy grail from LV though

Useless is relative - depends what you need it to carry; it has enough room to carry. my daily essentials or more appropriately, for a special event and this can actually hold a phone unlike the petite malle
