Training My Competition (Training Day)

I had one of our viewers reach out to me for a day of training to see what a day in the life of a pressure washing business owner is like. In this 11-minute video I summarize an 8 hour day filled with 3 house washes, and 1 gutter cleaning. Zac did a great job, and I look forward to having him as my competition very soon! Luckily we had a good mix of brick and vinyl siding, small and large houses, several customer interactions and a 95 degree day.

When you are giving your clients "Arrival window" What hours do you typically use? And when you don't arrive in the beginning part of the window, Do you call your clients and let them know that you are running behind from a previous client, or do you just show up anytime during that arrival window?

I usually just give them a 2 hour window then call when I'm on my way with an exact time.

I could use straight 10% sh in a 5 gallon bucket with 2.1 injector and get 1% sh at the gun, right? With a 4 gpm pressure washer.

Need to do a bucket test to find your ratio. Mine is 7:1 with a 2.1 injector. Yours may be different

@steppspressurewashing Yeah, you're right. I'm going to have to do the test. If I filled a 5 gallon bucket with 10% sh with assuming I'm getting 4 gpm with the pressure water, that would be like 2%. I'm happy I asked you that question. That could have been bad.

I'm glad you asked a well! I have gotten a lot of great customers who killed plants because of too strong of a mix. and best case scenario, you could be wasting a lot of SH. Good washing Mike!
