It reminded me of watching Kerry Wood's 20 strikeout game his rookie year (he had 12 through 6 innings). That's the kind of crazy movement on pitches that Skenes has.

Wow, Koufax like performance..... the confidence seems off the charts,he was interviewed before the game and was asked about the Cubs adjusting to him since he was facing them for the 2nd time, he said " adjust to me?? Good luck" he said with a laugh.....what utter confidence....Larry Bird like confidence!!!

I have been watching baseball since the 70's and there is no one that comes to mind that has ever had stuff like this! It's beyond disgusting!
Umpire was a little tricky tack with some of his calls. Missed at least 4 strikes that drove up his pitch count

Skenes is centuries better as a rookie then Cole was as a rookie.

If you're legit news, I'm on my Ty time deep but i just watched an espn short that calls our boy Mr. Livvy Dunne. No, that didn't sit well with me as i think he's going to get paid over half a billion. Total disrepect as are the pirates but at least use names properly!
