An Indian girl in a sari using a bagpipe with an ivory dragon head to play a techno-themed Punjabi variant of an Irish jig while Scotsmen in kilts dance in the background. The Internet is such a magical place.
My family is Scottish and my man is Indian so I definitely appreciate this mix. I stumbled across this video and so very glad I did! Absolutely amazing. ❤❤❤
That's because they're Highland Dancers, the sort that only compete, demonstrate or pose for shortbread tins! And don't smile🤪😂 A MUCH better idea would have been to use some Scottish Ceilidh Dancing instead, where people actuall have a GREAT TIME and laugh and SMILE a lot!!! That would be MUCH more in keeping with the style of the music! 😉For example: ruclips.net/video/hsQ3VMlLOTU/видео.html

I was the only white girl in my college friend group. We'd often go and eat at Pakistani or Indian places for lunch. I took them to an irish pub once and they said that it would go well with Punjabi music. AND THEN I SAW THIS. I'M IN LOVE.
First of all I can't believe how beautiful this girl is. I never seen such beauty I am truly impressed! So lovely and talented, bagpipes sound awesome in Punjabi style! I am addicted to these songs.
My mother is from Ireland's Galway Gaeltacht, and my father's people come from the Highlands of Scotland. I currently live in Gurugram india, and work with many Punjabis so this intercultural fusion really speaks to me.
I love how you put two different cultures together and make something so beautiful and that's the way the world should be. I love your music, very talented. I'm a super big fan.

My 3-year-old granddaughter and I watch this over and over together, dancing and playing our powwow drum and tabla along with it. I would love to hear the story of the people behind this amazing creative cultural concoction!

Hey kid. Think you are on to something here. Nice to see people out and about spreading music and dance culture. You're rocking this one. Scotch-Irish myself. Guinness in the fridge. Here's to you, Wahe Guru!
Absolutely amazing, I’ve been listening to this none stop while I clean my house! Such a brilliant blend of two beautiful music styles! I have Celtic blood by origin, but I deep love for Ballywood as well. I love anything you do musically
I love bagpipes in rock music like Korn's Chutes and Ladders, AC/DC's It's a long way to the top, The Church's Under the Milky Way and I absolutely love Bollywood films so this is my kind of jam. Well done Snake Charmer!

I love it! The violin was a great addition and flowed very well with the music. The bhangra dancers were really fun to watch. As a fan, I greatly appreciate the insight to more culture. This was the first time I've ever seen those type of dancers.
Agree. Just a note: this tune is a fiddle tune (actually written for fiddle) so I wouldn't call the violin so much an addition. But yes! The mix is amazing.
This video is truly magnificent. An amazing blend of musical styles. Very talented musicians. And the bhangra dancers are like Morris dancers on steroids! I say that in a most admiring way. Few things have ever sounded as cool as "Scottish Punjabi Madness"
Scotland, where amazing fusion music has been happening for a couple of decades now. This one is a pinnacle of the art. OUTSTANDING!
The only thing "wrong" with this version of Drowsy Maggie is it's too short! Love this!
The difference in the dancers is remarkable. 95% of the kilt dancers are serious and unsmiling. The bhangra dancers are smiling all the time!
