as the chap above formally mentionned , exactly. Am a french feeling near the scottisch culture, extended to its combination . So again, great cultural combination . thank you.
Punjabi-Celtic bagpipe folk music, something that would have never crossed my mind but now firmly situated in my playlist. Very nice, and the dancers knocked it out of the park too.
@DONNOD there's a dispute. Irish Scots believe it's invented in Ireland and was taken to Scotland. It's a Highland Classical Instrument basically which needs hilly area to make it's natural echo tunes. Flutes are originally from Egypt and Arabs, it's easy to mix this up
That's one of the strangest yet coolest cultural blends of music I've ever heard. I couldn't envision how the two types of music would sound together. Amazing job.
I see that you have recently fell under the spell of the snake charmer. Please go through Archie's past videos, you won't be disappointed and your soul will be enriched.
Wow.. I loved it.. 💖 P.S. I am a Himachal born woman residing in Capital City of Punjab , The Chandigarh. And I am a Bhangra (Indian Folk Dance of Punjab state) trainer too.. 💖 It was great seeing those men dressed in Bhangra Costumes witg the props. The song had its character. Great work💖 Love from India . 💖
They were trying to say a message and I like it all. Raoul Kerr, the rapper, seems like a pretty cool dude and I like what he says in the song and the work he has done with Bloodywood. Keep going Snake Charmer!
I love it!! So awesome to dare this fusion!!! Yet I'm a little sad not to hear a better fusion : bag-pipe = Irish melody, drums = Punjab. WY not make an Irish-Punjab melody?? Same for the dancing can't they all dance together in a same blended choreography instead of staying side by side?...
Uh-oh. The Irish and the Indians are joining together. The English must be sweating just a bit. Lol. Just playing... I love Bloodywood and Raoul Kerr, so seeing that Raoul was in this, I knew I'd love it... Even before the first note. I was not disappointed! I love blends of music, especially trad music. Just something about cultures coming together, in musical celebration, that gives hope for all of us coming together, maybe. Excellent work! 💙
Perfectly illustrates the beauty of a gifted artist combining dissimilar elements to create a true work of art. Musical artists of her caliber are rare.
I love the music, the video, and how well you mix cultures. I'm not a fan of rap at all, but I really like the positive message in the lyrics!! Great job Archy!!
So full of life and colour!! Another fantastic mix of cultures. For a better humanity. Every man, every woman, every person in between ❤️ I love what you do Archy ❤️ x x
I'm here because of Bloodywoods comment section on who you are, and just WOW, this is just magic, who would of thought these 2 different worlds would collide and become something so fantastic. I have tried to start learning Bhangra, i'm old but i love the dance form, but seeing this now, with the BW guys who i just love, i'm now determined to learn a routine to dance to this song haha..
New way forward. I wish I could live long enough to enjoy how you all are going to change things. It makes the years of advocacy and marching---worth it thanks

Amazing. I love this beautiful display of music and the heartfelt camaraderie between cultures. This is what the world needs. Thank you for this great gift. Much appreciated.
No Flag brought me here... props from Canada to both of you So I want to start with Holy f@%* that was amazing... I'll try to keep this as short as I can. A week ago I discover Bloodywood, then I hit one of the links to listen to exhale. Spend the next week listening to absolutely nothing but the likes of those 2. 1 of the 2 people I work with is from Punjab. So I'm all excited to talk to him about this absolutely amazing sound that I have discovered. So I remember saying to him something along the lines of "that flute and those drums, would not sound out of place coming from the hills in Scotland or the Emerald Isle. It's sooooo similar to Celtic music" And then this..... I have clearly died and gone to some sort of heaven where all my favourite sounds are coming together.... I guess I have another amazing artist to go completely fanboy over. Better go find my good headphones
Holy holy ive been married to a Punjabi (now divorced) n How I was forced into excepting the standard Bollywood half naked women singing songs in Hindi and rap you are a true gem this is beautiful I love it thank you keep it up girl
As an old bloke who's Irish great great someone or other ended up in Australia via the British Army in India (probably to escape the famine) I am in awe of you and love your work. You shame the virtue signaling multicultural rabble that purposefully create divisions among us. Sorry, enough with the quasi politics, just give us more amazing music and dance.
funny that this uses the lyrics "delhi to dublin", because there is actually a band called "delhi 2 dublin" that does bhangra/celtic fusion music. maybe you should collab with them. their fiddler left the band and they don't have as much celtic sound anymore, and a bagpipe could be just what they need
@@cryhavoc9748 Oh right, I just had the thought that since this video might by seen by many non-english speakers that someone might not know the expression "facepalm" (hitting your forehead with the palm of your hand in a moment of embarrassment or disbelief).
This kind of creativity is what the internet & globalization was meant to be. Making awesome things from awesome things from all around the world. 😍
I have both Irish and Indian blood and this combination makes me the happiest on hard days, thank you 💚
Same here 😎
Irish / Indian here..🍀
Being Irish and Scottish, I love the pipes, but I really like the cultural combination you bring into your music. Thanks
Exactement ...
as the chap above formally mentionned , exactly. Am a french feeling near the scottisch culture, extended to its combination . So again, great cultural combination . thank you.
Yes....!
It is perfect inspiration for my Irish Scottish Punjabi girl. Her father of Irish Scottish heritage and mum Indian. Love the fusion❤
Punjabi-Celtic bagpipe folk music, something that would have never crossed my mind but now firmly situated in my playlist. Very nice, and the dancers knocked it out of the park too.
Punjabi/Celtic music is almost becoming a genre of its own. I recommend groups like Delhi 2 Dublin and Jiggy.
Omg. Your "irish punjabi" (best genre cross ever) style AND Raoul Kerrs raps... music heaven!!! Love love love this!!!
Well only white men went to India English Scottish Irish
@DONNOD
Really ? are you serious? lol
Bagpipes have been in cultures from Europe to India since before Roman times. Nobody's really sure where they originally came from, it seems.

A lot of Irish trad bands have done this for years, the Chieftains has collaborated with musicians from all over the world.
Check out a Canadian band called Delhi 2 Dublin. I've seen them live twice

I know right
It truly is!
I love to see crossovers that expand the horizon of great music...and show of hands...Who else finds Archy Jay completely mesmerizing?
Classical pipes. And now you. Pibroch. Let's go.
