  • Salmon Patties
    14 oz. salmon
    5 saltine crackers
    1 potato
    1/2 onion
    1/4 cup flour
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    0:12 ingredients
    Directions:
    Boil potato, cook until fork tender. Chop onion.
    Mix together salmon, potato, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Crumble in crackers and mix well. Form into patties. Dredge in flour.
    Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties until both sides are browned and crispy!

    Yum.. I want to freeze a half a years worth of patties. Any idea if its best to freeze them before or after cooking ?

      @@andromakennethamblesorten That is such a great idea! I have never frozen them, but I think I would freeze before cooking. If you try it we would love to hear what you did and how it turns out!

      @@familyfeasts I have dun booth but usually only a small batch of like 1-2 months of freeze time.
      I like having them pre cooked as it takes les time and les messy with the few different methods of thawing out the uncooked. But I was thinking I would need a gigantic griddle for 2 years worth. LOL
      Ps. sorry about the bad grimmer.
