    I almost always get under a bigger and stronger opponent. About half a minute after the match starts, I will be underneath them. Usually in side control, sometimes in mount, but always getting choked out...

    • @mattrange2126
      @mattrange2126 2 года назад

      Yep, I feel that. U still training? If so do you still end up getting choked by bigger guys?

      @mattrange2126 Hi Matt. Sorry for the late response, but I'm sort of hit or miss with RUclips. Yes, I'm still training. As for getting choked out by bigger guys, not really, but it kind of depends. If we are similar in skill, it doesn't seem to matter too much, but if they are more experienced, I'm in for a hard roll (harder than usual, lol). If my opponent is less experienced, it's not really an issue. I might not be able to submit them if they are much stronger than me, but I don't really have to worry about them being able to submit me.

    The title of the video puzzled me a bit. A do Japanese Ju Jitsu and get underneath a bigger and stronger opponent all the time with zero effort. The guys get ippons for that and I get stuck in side control. We call it a takedown.
