@Allanrpsx I get that mate, clearly Sousa was trying to rip that, mikey diddnt have it fully on for a little while but when he did he diddnt rip it 🤷🏼♂️ I don't think it's a bombshell comment to suggest that Sousa has a bully mentality after the lead up to the fight and the history.

@@adamstannard7934 @adamstannard7934 the toe hold was never gonna cause a break, Souza was trying to use it to force Mikey to respond. He can crank it all he wants, but Mikey was in control and if it posed a threat he would have given up the position, which is what souza wanted. Besides that, I have seen nothing to suggest that Souza is a bully other than some social media chatter, not that it matters really. Suggesting that Souza would intentionally rip a submission and injure his opponent based on this match is just 100% unfair. Obviously Mikey exercised great control as usual

Probably because ONE pays him a lot more
In adcc max you can win is 10k, while in one he can get that as a bonus or even more(50k).

ADCC pays peanut.
Part of it is probably pay. There's not much monetary incentive for ADCC and you have to win multiple matches before you have a shot at the money. Arguably also tougher competition there for less money.

39 thousand pounds!!!! You can only fight a few times a year fighting. I boxed from 14........nothing special all amateur. I earn 50 grand a year now at 45, pension due blah blah. That is shite money once you take out trainers, manager, gym fees etc.... hence mma is a shocking sport. Boxing the same unless you have a big name. Listen to Tony Bellew. His last few fight set him up. That young man like myself will be broken by 45 with nothing to show. 4 elbow ops with a lot removed. 3 knee ops and now it's completely gone but can't get a whole knee replacement as too young.....plus now out of shape as can't do what I want to do. On top of that because walking bad and COVID prevented any ops now need hips done. Rugby, football and boxing!!!!! Always was fit.....now a wreck
