Mikey walks out like its his first day of highschool and he doesnt know where homeroom is.
lmao
😂😂😂😂
Lol😂😂😂
I love mikey ❤
😂 start of the clip has the same energy during the face off someone puts the belt on Mikey as if to remind him he’s the champ and he looks over at it like “whats that? Oh ya it’s that thing I won cool”
I dont know whats scarier, Mikeys actual skill in there or the fact that he is so nice and calm and loving to his opponent all the way up to the moment of engagement
Mikey failure is that he has ZERO takedown knowledge. He is a cuck to the zero takedown knowledge champ. This clown would lose, hands down, in a street fight.
It’s such a strange contrast
Mikey has an outstanding personality for Bjj.
Aaaand breaking their arms and legs 😅.
he is autistic
That's true sportsmanship! Losing and smiling at the end! What a great match!
Pure Class, Honor and Discipline.Humbleness, Respect and Awe to what is very underated in society. The two are warriors of Truth.
For real these are two of the coolest fighters I’ve seen. Both seem so genuine and just fighting for fun. Some people look angry and want to hurt people these guys look like they’re having fun and being so technical
Well he knows if it was a real fight he'd wipe the floor with him.
@@KingKarlTNTThere’s always one isn’t there. 😂😂😂
He stayed nearly a minute in Mikey's triangle choke.
Mikey willing to sit quietly with his defeated opponent at the end of the fight while they both collect their thoughts is everything to me.
Yeah it was weird to watch at first but mad respect.
Yeah it’s giving practice partners to me. I love his character and demeanor in general
That reset when he had full back control was insane. Can’t believe they’d do that
Easily the worst reset I can think of
I don't get it, why that happened? it is a One special rule or something?
@@leonardonoguera5589 Yep i totally misunderstood this, very cool that he won finally , the contrary would have been a true steal !
Such a shitty call, only reason I could think of was to keep the action going for entertainment’s sake as it started to get a little “stalemate-y” at the end with a bunch of uneventful hand fighting with no real attack. I agree that probably would have been the end of the fight had it continued
Must be the rules, you can see Brooks waiting for and anticipating the call.
Absolutely love the submission grappling matches from One championship 🥋
That’s a lie.
Why tf did the ref stand them up in the most dominant position in the sport terrible refereeing im never watching one grappling
There's no time to rest when you roll with Mikey he has attacks from everywhere
I can take him 😉
@@mrgamerguy321 not in a billion years
He’s a freaking octopus
@@geraldfisher6475all you have to do is walk away faster than he can butt scoot pretty easy
@@travissandoe5836 and then they'll call the match and DQ you for not engaging.
Restarting them from a back position with body triangle is crazy 😂
Man that blew my mind
For real
Does anyone know why they did that?!!
They said there “wasn’t enough action.” I don’t agree with it either.
I was so confused when I seen that. Wild
Brooks: 😄👋💨🍌🍌🍌🍌
Musumeci: ☝️😃☝️
?
🤌🏽
🫰
After this match:
Mikey 📈
Brooks📈
Covid masks were so clown
Mikey’s the dude who looks so unthreatening but would wrap you up like a pretzel in seconds! 😆
I knew too many guys like him that would and could rip people apart and you wouldn't see it coming
Guys, they're grappling in a controlled environment. Lots of average dudes at the bar would spark either of these kids unconscious in an actual parking lot/bar brawl. Trust me.
@@rickstark85 I don’t agree that an average guy at a bar, one on one, would have a chance against either of these guys. Absent the “average guy” being someone much larger or someone who has trained.
@fsu88me you don't have to agree. I fought MMA professionally. I've trained Jiu-jitsu off and on for over 15 years. And I also grew up fighting. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Laying on your back in a parking lot doesn't work. I can tell you don't have much real world experience in actual street fights. It's an entirely different world. Yes, Jiu-jitsu can be helpful, but you need to apply it differently, and you can't do that if you haven't experienced it. I'm sorry, but I promise you're wrong. And fyi, I went out when I was younger with a bunch of teammates and have seen high level grapplers be of absolutely no use in a real brawl.
@@fsu88me also, it's never one on one. That's not a thing that exists in the real world 99.9% of the time brother
The way he seamlessly transitioned between sides on the body lock was incredible
How could anyone not like Mikey. He is the most lovable martial artist I've ever seen. And the way he stood up to that bully after that match a couple years ago made me a fan for life. Dude is legit and one of the nicest a d most kind people you will ever seen in a cage or ring.
Because he butt scoots and pulls guard immediately every. Single. Match. Its so boring. He does everything right but so does Gordon Ryan and he's so much more entertaining to watch.
Calling anything Mikey does a fight is an insult to fighting. Butt scooting should be a dq.
@@spiralbonesBehind every successful person lies a pack of haters.
Lol he’s so nerdy, awkward and geeky socially speaking but when he gets to work he’s a literal anaconda. I’d hate to be that “bully” or fool who would underestimate him, pick a fight with him only to get humbled. 😵💫😴 Dude is truly something special. A master of his craft, a pioneer, a genius in grappling.
@@jrbaconcheezI’ve seen random people challenge others for things a lot more absurd than that lmao, I get why he’d call them out if they’re running their mouth most fighters are the same way. Seems like you just don’t like him cause you know he’d win.
So much respect and sportsmanship between these two. Happy to see it.
Mikey is great for the sport no only the best great young man too.
Hes gonna be on top for a while
Mikey looks so nice, humble and caring about brooks at the end. My god this is one of a million champ, pure genius and great human
Both mikey and his sister are dangerously brilliant.
@@bennys5770 thanks a lot didnt know about his sister, definitely gonna check her !
Aftercare lol
Both classy fighters showing respect!👍
The refree helped musumeci to adjust the triangle 😂
haha that's so true! but I dont think he needed anyways.
Mikey face on that reset!!!😂😂😂😂 who let this guy call my fight!!!
it was to make up for stealing mikey's position on the reset lol
Good fight...and once again, damn I love those respectful post fight interactions...just seems to take it all to another level.
Literally not a fight
@@rickiboulter3053it's a fight without striking.
THE PASTA GUY!
Sneak O wishes he was the Pasta Guy....... Sneak O is no fighter. He's an imPASTA
Pasta and pizza!
I hear he pasta guard real good too 😎
I know him as the butt scoot guy 😭 hes going to kill the sport and yall are cheering
@@PotatoL001all your comments hating on Mikey LOL! Go do something else better with your time Mr. Potato Head.
how can you not like mikey?! humble respectful and a grappling savage
Because he’s a butt scooter.
Other than that he seems like a nice enough guy.
@@wokjocka butt scooter that would kill you 😂

8:58 The ref gave Mucumeci an advantage when pulling him off the ropes. Brook's hand was safe on the ropes and was extended after the ref pulled Meci
Ref also stood them up with a full on RNC locked in.
I was wondering about that and I'm clueless about BJJ. It looked like the ref pulled it tighter.
Same thing I was thinking but what I think happend was that when the ref moved them I guess brooks kinda just wasn’t paying attention and once the ref let go Mikey took advantage of that split second he got the armbar fast once they repositioned on the armlock he had already going before the ref moved them
I would appeal this loss. The ref caused the finish.
Ref changed the body position from straight-on to being on the angle needed for the submission.
The way he switched sides on his body triangle at 6:23 was insanley smooth
he did it 3-4 times
Post fight interaction was everything. Amazing to watch the respect shown
Mike is the nicest guy ever! I like that he he hangs out with the guy for a while before he gets up.
Mikey reminds me of the Zen Machine a fighter from back in the 80s. Never gets tired. Always calm.
Absolutely brilliant it's like watching a genius at work.mikey constantly thinking about positioning and attacking that's why he is so hard defend against. Could watch his fights all day.
autism bruh
I like the way they treat each other with respect. Two guys that look like if a regular citizen was in trouble, they would be right there to help them.
I love the sportsmanship...its almost like a chess match where players analyze the game afterwards❤
Incredible fight, both skilled warriors. I love the mutual respect demonstrations.
3:10 is INSANE how Mikey lures him so beautifully into an arm sub. Wow.
Wow. Thanks for pointing that out. That was so slick!
Brooks defense is phenomenal. Mikey literally had his back and he escaped it. Amazing
Musumeci is so impressive. Always happy and technical. I’d love to see him under Gordon Ryan’s tutelage.
Hopefully at the end Mikey says to him “don’t leave the building I’m gonna bake you a pizza you’re never going to forget!” I wish I had the humility and sportsmanship he has…
Mikey seems so nice, smiles, hugs, handshakes. Watching his face though, it's like a light switch to no emotion at all. In a bar, I'd never turn my back or let a guy like that out of sight or get in arms reach.
Love the respect from brooks , mikey on another level
I love watching the rise of Mikey Musumeci..I’m a fan of Jarred Brooks..this was a lot of fun..I’m not sure I need to see it with DJ, though if it existed, I probably would…
Normally get bored quite quickly during grappling matches but this was great!
As a judge, Master Shaolin's presence elevated the match, but in reality, it is he who remains the true star, embodying the essence of jiu-jitsu
How do you not just love this kid?
So slick. Overhook to a triangle like butter. Brooks made a nice go of it, but too many errors. Props to ONE Championship
Musemecci, what a classy kid. His parents have to be so proud. Brooks is a freak beast too lol it was exhausting just watching him try to grind Mikey like that.
Dude lasted 7 minutes longer than any of us would. Great match.
Brooks is a great mma fighter so he should be pretty good if he wants to be best in mma for One fc
True but he’s 4’11”
Bro looks like he finds strength in the opposite of hyping himself up - through peace and energy conservation. He fully trusts in the intuition he’s built up through incredible training. Low key I’ve never seen this before in the fighting arena.
Homeboy throwing bananas into the crowd leaned me for some reason😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This guy Musumeci has got to be one of the nicest guys in BJJ but don't be fooled he is an beast on the mat
The sportsmanship in One is amazing.
how can you hate this guy man. World class talent and one of the nicest guys youll ever meet.
I wrestled with Jared at Warsaw High school. He was a super respectful and nice guy.
Mikey may be my favorite person in all combat sports. He is a true sportsman in every sense of the word. Kudos to Brooks as well. He was very gracious in defeat.
It was an expert standup by referee that really elevated the pace of the contest. Ref had the experience to recognize a stalemate position where both guys were neutralizing each other that could easily go on for the rest of the round, not pure, but this is the a real push for entertainment mainstream jiujitsu, I like it.
Nice to see how humble this guy is. True champions dont need to be assholes. Good fight from Brooks too.
Mikey won this twice in about 8 mins. truly impressive.
Musumeci's opening attack stance is hilarious to me.
Imagine using this stance in MMA, standing upright with palms out and one leg ready to hook
Imagine getting stood up after getting the back 😂
Both did great but to me personally the movement on the ref to bring them more back in the mat solidified the submission. That slight angle in the move gave the win.
Both badass and great work
Maybe so. But breaking them when Mikey has the back evens the score.
I don't know the rules, but from what I could tell, Brooke's hand/wrist were being supported by the bottom rope in such a way that his arm couldn't be straightened out. As soon as they were moved the arm was no longer supported and was able to be straightened. Do the rules allow you to use the ropes like that?
@@nimnogaparusI also dont know the rules but what you described is exactly what happened
There's something to be said about how Mikey didn't celebrate at all. Extremely respectful.
The pressure on the back with that reverse triangle would have put me in a wheelchair. Kudos to Brooks for hanging in there so long.
Two men that could beat anyone on any day, including each other. Then shake hands and move on. Beautiful.
respectfully, mikey’s beating brooks 9/10 times and thats being generous to brooks
Better than ADCC love ONE Grappling Submission ❤
Mikey is simply AMAZING to watch GO CONSTANTLY attacking off his back and everywhere Musumeci is A BRILLIANT FIGHTER
bruce lee once said, "you should move like water, flow like water and become the water...musumeci demonstrated it well. Even the strongest and best grappler can't compete with the motion of the water.
I love seeing two fighter with such mutual respect
The heartbeat sounds in the background when Mikey locks up the triangle are so subtle and genius to have edited in.
Amazing finish but that ref was the reason for the tap, he pulled Mikey’s weight causes that arm bar to feel like he was going to break Brooks arm sideways. Can’t take nothing from Mikey, Incredible performance.
Mikey is such a cool guy. At the pinnacle of his sport yet always humble.
Sportsmanship at it's finest. This is so inspiring to watch.
Such an intense match. Holding my breath beginning to end.
Now I need to watch Brooks MMA fights
7 minutes of Mikey controlling tempo. Mikey is a beast!
what an awesome match, respect, smile in the end, congratulate, etc. this was amazing, nothing to be ashamed of, actually all the opposite! its just about boucing back and making it a learning experience! great job from both athletes! wish we could have more of those people around
The self proclaimed "Monkey God" comes out throwing bananas to the crowd. Mikey comes out calmly with a simple prayer of gratitude & a simple gesture toward the true God.
Massive respect to Brooks; he is an MMA fighter, so that desire to throw punches must take a lot of self-control to resist using them when you're in a poor position.
Big up to both men.
Referee: Break!!
Brooks : YEAH!!! 😃
Brooks be channeling his inner “LA KNIGHT” lol jokes aside this was a super good fight. Both men fought valiantly.
This is a great example of wrestling vs bjj. When it comes down to purely grappling, bjj is far superior. Wrestling in mma is more of a quality platform to build from, usually integrating better with striking and finessing takedowns. Impressed by the power and endurance of brooks but the writing was on the wall the second they hit the mat.
The level of respect is crazy.
How can anyone dislike Mikey, like dude radiates positive energy
What a humble champ..talk about class. Best wishes for that Mikey dude
The respect, showmanship and gamesmanship shown in that weigh in needs to be contagious across combat sport.
Mikey barely broke a sweat by the end of the match, while the other guy looked like he just got mauled by a bear! What a savage!
The way Mikey did the triple comodo when facing down is inane.
How can you not love Mikey?!?!!?!?
Great matchup, great competitive & respectful spirits--CONGRATS TO BOTH! Fantastic triangle setup w arm bar finish👏🏆
Mickey just looked like having a chat with jarred at the end like nothing had happened..
You can just tell that kid Mikey has an infinite amount of neurons firing as soon as his butt hits the floor and it’s go time 😂
@1:21 mikey acting like his mom just said brooks can sleep over
Sneako wants to mess with this guy? ahahaha
He would get destroyed in 5 seconds.
Amazing Sportsmanship! Love it
Mikey is the guy that makes every BJJ nerd think they can beat up anyone ever
Big respect to both fighters. An excellent example of sportmanship.
Так должен выглядеть спорт! Без понтов, без злобы!
WOW! That dude, Brooks was pretty good.
Mikey is a humble beast
Incredible work from both competitors!!!! Let’s go!!!!!!!
Mikey is terrifying, I remember an post fight interview where he said "I knew his leg was broken, I've broken enough to know but he just wouldn't submit"
the sportsmanship in bjj is on totaly diferent level.
Mikey is a BEAST. 👹
Mikey! Big fan from south Korea! congrats!!!!
Admirable performances and sportsmanship. Bravo.
Watching Darth Rigatoni is always a pleasure. It's a master class in grappling.
