@fsu88me you don't have to agree. I fought MMA professionally. I've trained Jiu-jitsu off and on for over 15 years. And I also grew up fighting. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Laying on your back in a parking lot doesn't work. I can tell you don't have much real world experience in actual street fights. It's an entirely different world. Yes, Jiu-jitsu can be helpful, but you need to apply it differently, and you can't do that if you haven't experienced it. I'm sorry, but I promise you're wrong. And fyi, I went out when I was younger with a bunch of teammates and have seen high level grapplers be of absolutely no use in a real brawl.

I don't know the rules, but from what I could tell, Brooke's hand/wrist were being supported by the bottom rope in such a way that his arm couldn't be straightened out. As soon as they were moved the arm was no longer supported and was able to be straightened. Do the rules allow you to use the ropes like that?

Amazing finish but that ref was the reason for the tap, he pulled Mikey’s weight causes that arm bar to feel like he was going to break Brooks arm sideways. Can’t take nothing from Mikey, Incredible performance.

Massive respect to Brooks; he is an MMA fighter, so that desire to throw punches must take a lot of self-control to resist using them when you're in a poor position.
    Big up to both men.

This is a great example of wrestling vs bjj. When it comes down to purely grappling, bjj is far superior. Wrestling in mma is more of a quality platform to build from, usually integrating better with striking and finessing takedowns. Impressed by the power and endurance of brooks but the writing was on the wall the second they hit the mat.
