The blue and white wolf is beautiful!!! thank you for doing a video on it i had been wondering how all of this works! I'm new to ark so it really helps, now when my little sister wants to start i can show her your videos.
honestly, never been very good at understanding some of the concepts in ark, but this helps a lot more, thank you! im currently breeding gigaraptors, and honest, i dont know if im doing well or not lol, but i just got a purple-y red one and i love it!
Just to make sure im understanding this correctly, you dont want to breed for color until you have all the stat mutations you want? Also would the stat mutation breed down with the color, or can just the color mutation breed down?
You can breed colors separately from your mutations, so keep any colors that you like. The stat mutation is not linked to the color, the color can breed down without the stat. And the stat can breed down without the color. You either get the mom's color or the dad's for each zone on the creatures body
Thank you for the replies to my questions! One last question about colors, will the color mutation show up on the mutation counter if the stat doesnt breed down with it? Love the content keep it up!
Great video! It's super easy to understand. Let's say i found a wild dino with a color i wanted. Since it is a different level than my tame, would i just keep breeding them until i get the wild dinos color and the tamed dinos stats? Sounds tedious but is that the only way?
@@ConCon pretty much yeah those colour squares at the bottom, reason i ask to do in depth on them is because when theres a colour on the bottom i cant see the colour on the dino sometimes, for example if u was to go left to right on the colours i cannot see the 2nd colour slot anywhwere on the dino, hope this comment isnt to confusing im not very good at explaining haha
Thanks for all the information. Its very helpful. Can you please tell me how the damage of a weapon affects the taming? Is a higher damage weapon better or worse for tranqing? Turning on notifications in hopes of a response
Bro this is the easiest video on this subject to understand without having 100’s of hours in ark def subscribing
Thanks!

Do you have a discord for tips and tricks or general
Thanks for your support! About the discord server, its mostly general but people do ask questions there on a lot of the games I've covered.

Yes
Hey Con could u do a video explaining the colour panel on the tek binoculars. Thanks
You mean this 3:25 ?

Can you choose what color you want the dino to be also is there a black color?
It depends what the mutation gives you, you don't choose which color you get. Yes there is black
@@ConCon oh okay thank you, is it possible for the secondary color of the dino to change aswell?
Is that the Crazy's Ascended Potions mod??
I forgot its name, was just the first mutation mod to speed it up so I could make the video faster

It doesn't affect taming unless you are shooting it while it's unconscious
@ConCon sorry must not have been clear on the question. I am talking about while tranqing a dino is a higher damage weapon better or worse?
Higher damage makes the dino knock out faster. So you can use less darts
@@ConCon thats what i wanted to know thank you sooo much
Does this work for ASE too?
Yeah
What is the potion mod
Just search mutation and it should come up
easy mutations
Easy Mutations
This is a pretty pointless video really given he openly admits he’s using a mod to guarantee mutations….
Only to speed up my recording process, I wasn't going to play 150 hours to make this video. The info is still the exact same.
Does this work in Evolved as well?
