Whole allspice is the dried allspice berry. It resembles a large, medium-brown peppercorn with a similar, pebble-like firmness. Whole allspice berries are often used with other whole spices like peppercorns and clove to infuse beverages, sauces, and broths. Ground allspice results from grinding dried whole berries. - Google

Looking forward to watching this one Dave, no idea how Apple cider gets made. Thanks!

I think that may be a meat tenderizer, not a potato masher. First time watching you cook, I subscribed. I enjoyed that!

FYI; If you put the lid on at first the water will come to a boil faster

That looks so good. I love apple cider. Never tried whipped cream and caramel on it though. I’ve never made cider from scratch. I’ll bet it makes a difference. We have an apple orchard nearby that makes it fresh. Now I know why it’s on the pricey side. You don’t get much for all those ingredients. The also have apple cider slushies. So good.

I vote to use the 10 apples for apple crisp instead of cider. What about the best turkey recipe, that would also fill the house with wonderful smells.

That looks like a fun recipe to try. It would be easier to transfer the cider into the strainer with a ladle and also ladle the cider into the cup. You won’t spill as much that way. Dave, I love watching all of your videos. 👍👍👍

This looks really good Dave. Did you know thought that apple seeds have arsenic in them? While you can die from eating them, it isn't likely unless you consume enough. Just thought I would share this interesting fact with you, because I know how protective you are of your family. 😃

I missed this one! If you core, at least the seeds, you can eat the apples. Little like apple filling. Try Wassail

That was a fun recipe. I never thought to make apple cider. Now make caramel apples. With and without nuts.

I would have gone for a lemon to bring the flavor to a whole other level...

Dave, that's not a potato masher! It's to tenderize your meat!!

All that work for homemade apple cider…. Then whipped cream from a can LOL. 😂 Level up with real whipping cream for the next batch. It’s easy and way better.🎉
