Thanks for showing the comparisons between the series 1 and 2, especially the details like the fit and the battery clip. I have the series 1 and do the same thing with my ponytail to hold it up!
Such a great video Dana! I recently invested in a red light panel, my first red light device. I like it but am considering getting a mask too for the convenience factor. I have a vacation coming up and there’s no way my panel is coming with me. I will miss it while I’m gone lol.
I got this as a push present from my hubby for our first baby. It is very bright! I had the omnilux before and I got a tighter fit with it which means better absorption of light. The CBv2 is comfortable but I wouldnt say 2x more comfortable...and I cant get it as tight to my face as omnilux. I would not get it unless you have a DEEP discount. ❤
The new mask has a strap for the top of the mask which brings it closer to your face. As for the brightness, most people find that if you use it with other lights on, it’s not as bad. ❤️
@@DanaRipperton yup, I use all the straps but I have a smaller face which makes it an awkward fit. The light doesnt bother me but I can see how it can be too much for some people.
Do you think the placement of the lip and eye LEDs will make a big difference if that is a trouble area for you compared to any other one on the market?
I have another video where I went over specs further but long story short is they haven’t changed the irradiance. It’s still 30 mw/cm2, which is considered good
I ordered this LED mask series 2 after seeing all the great reviews and promotions, but unfortunately, my experience has been very different. The light intensity is way too high, even with the eye protection (which does nothing but feel uncomfortable), causing discomfort and even pain in my eyes. It's not safe for me to use, and the customer service has been unhelpful. Returning it will also cost you money! I expected much more from a product marketed as safe and effective. Be cautious if you're thinking about buying!
@@yoga-sila7298 I know some people who are more sensitive to light it doesn’t work for, it others (like me) don’t have any issues with it. Thanks for pointing that out 🙏
Try using the mask with a lot of house lights on and standing up. For some reason lying down made the lights more intense for me. It took me months of using a LED mask with eye protection (tanning goggles) for my eyes to adjust. I can now use the mask without eye protection.
I’ve been looking into the omnilux, now you may have convinced me to look into this one.

Maybe one day I'll be able to try one of these masks.

@ gotcha! I have a smaller fade too so I understand. Thanks for the info!🤗❤️
Do you use their neck and chest mask? I want to order today and am on fence about the neck and chest one. Thanks!
I don’t have the neck and chest one but I often use the series 1 on my neck since it lays flat
If you have the series 1 (got it in May). Is it worth the upgrade to go to the series 2? I feel like I just got the series 1
Oofff that’s a hard question. It really depends on your budget and needs.

The only other mask that I know of with Deep NIR is the Omnilux men’s mask. It definitely won’t hurt having them
Wish you had discussed irradiance. Most of these masks have irradiance on the lower end of ideal.
I have another video where I went over specs further but long story short is they haven’t changed the irradiance. It’s still 30 mw/cm2, which is considered good
@@DanaRippertonThank you for the quick response….too bad, looking for something a little higher.
@ anytime but just be careful. Higher irradiance should be used for less time and if you use it too long it can sometimes have a negative effect
Just for info, the discount code gives 10% off, not 20%
The discount was only 20% during the Black Friday sale, sadly

Im sorry that you’re having a bad experience. It’s definitely much brighter than other masks
@@DanaRipperton yes it is.....
